To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 846-Let Her Go After hanging up on Jolene, Jenny immediately dialed James' number without any delay.

The call took a while to connect, and James' voice came through, saying,"

Jenny, why are you calling so late? What's the matter?"

At James' question, Jenny didn't know what to say for a moment and fell into silence.

"Jenny?" James called her name, sounding worried.

Taking a deep breath, Jenny decided it was best to be direct instead of beating around the bush. "James, Jolene just called me.' James' face immediately darkened upon hearing that, though Jenny couldn't see it. "She said she wants to go abroad with Rowena, but you won't let her."

"That's right. She had plotted against me, and we're not even yet. Of course I won't let her go.’ James tried to keep his emotions in check and not let them fluctuate too much. It wasn't worth getting emotional over a woman like Jolene.

Jenny frowned, her intuition telling her that this wasn't the real reason James was stopping Jolene from leaving. "James, that's enough. She's my sister. Just let her go."

She didn't want the two of them to continue to be in each other's lives.

While Jolene thought James kept her around so that he could torment her, Jenny didn't see it that way. It was clear to her that James had other feelings for Jolene, although he hadn't realized it and thought it was pure hatred against his schemer.

Then again, Jenny could see it wasn't hatred. Based on how James and Jolene their recent interactions, she was sure James no longer held any grudge against Jolene. The anger he had felt toward her initially had dissipated overtime.

James was genuinely surprised that Jenny would plead on Jolene's behalf again. "Jenny, did she threaten you again?' "No. I think it's better for her to leave with Rowena. We won’t have to see each other in the future, and it's better for us to act like she doesn't exist."

Jolene didn't matter to her anymore. She only spoke up because she didn't want James' judgment to be clouded by his confusion.

James didn't say anything, clearly showing his reluctance.

At that moment, Jenny's heart skipped a beat. Could her speculation have come true? Had James fallen for Jolene?

Although it was easy for two people to develop feelings when they cohabited and kept seeing each other day in and day out, Jenny had believed that based on James' dislike toward Jolene, it was impossible for any feelings to develop.

However, reality was proving her wrong.

"James, you don't want to let her go?" Jenny’s tone changed slightly, becoming stern.

James was equally alarmed, wondering what got into him. Why couldn't he let Jolene leave even after Jenny had spoken up?

He wasn't a fool, and he had already noticed that something was off. He quickly suppressed his excessive emotions and said, "Of course not. I don't care if she leaves or not. The reason I don't want her to leave is that I want to avenge you.

After all, she treated you so badly before."

"That's all in the past. Let her go," Jenny said.

"Fine. Since you've said so, I naturally have no reason to refuse," James agreed and then hung up the phone.

Jenny breathed a sigh of relief on the other end of the phone. If James gave his word, he would see it through. Jenny thought maybe she was just being too sensitive.

After hanging up the call, James got out of his study and walked straight to Jolene's room. He kicked the door forcefully and shouted, "Jolene! Come out this instance!"

"W-what do you want?" Hearing the commotion outside, Jolene dared not come out. She cowered in her room, trembling in fear.

"Open the door!" James bellowed angrily, his anger level visibly rising every second.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 847-Don't Let Me See You Again Jolene finally opened the door. On the one hand, she was afraid that James would wreck the door, and on the other hand, she understood since this was James' house, he could still unlock the door with his keys even if she refused to open up.

"Why…why are you looking for me?" Jolene looked at him reluctantly, fear written all over her face.

"Ah!"

The next second, James lifted Jolene, and the feeling of being suspended in midair amplified her fear to the extreme.

"James! What are you doing? Are you crazy?"

"I underestimated you. You had the gall to call Jenny. Don't you feel ashamed?’ James asked her, eyes stormy and cold.

Upon hearing that, Jolene's emotions became immensely complicated. While she was happy that Jenny called James, she was also saddened at the same time by James' huge reaction, which was likely because of Jenny. She thought that James reacted that way because he was displeased that she'd disturbed Jenny.

Jolene gritted her teeth and tried to keep her fear from overpowering her."

Weren't you the one who told me to call her?"

"Jolene!" James gritted his teeth, hating the woman before him to the core.

"Did she ask you to let me go?" Jolene asked. Since Jenny called James, she must have told him to let her go.

James said nothing, but flames were about to burst out from his eyes.

Seeing that, Jolene knew she'd hit the nail on the head, and her eyes were filled with joy. "Since that's the case, shouldn't you let me leave?"

"Are you really so eager to leave?" James looked at her and asked in a low voice.

"Of course. Do you expect me to stay here and serve you for the rest of my life?"

In fact, Jolene was willing to serve James for the rest of her life, but she couldn't bear the thought of serving his wife and children in the future. She felt that she couldn't be so generous. Instead of being miserable, she'd rather leave.

Their eyes met, and neither of them backed down. The standoff lasted for God knows how long until James finally let go of Jolene.

"Go away. Leave immediately, and don't let me see you again." James turned and went back to his study without giving her another glance.

Jolene was too elated to notice that something was off with him. She was conflicted, as she felt happy yet dismayed at the same time. At the end of the day, Jenny's words were more effective.

Shaking her head, Jolene decided that whomever James liked no longer had anything to do with her since she was leaving. She went back to her room to pack and left without hesitation. Worried that James might change his mind in the next second, Jolene walked away from the villa hurriedly.

James didn't go downstairs to see her off. He just stood on the balcony and called the bodyguards downstairs, instructing them to let her go. He stood on the balcony watching Jolene leave with her luggage, getting farther and farther away from him until she disappeared completely.

He gave a low roar and kicked the pillar nearby, mad beyond belief.

She'd said she loved him, yet she left so decisively. It was a solid testament to show that the world was full of liars.

The news of Jolene moving out of James' villa spread throughout Bardoff City the next day. People were naturally not concerned about Jolene but rather about James' situation, as he was one of the few eligible bachelors in Bardoff City.

Due to a series of unsuccessful blind dates, there had been speculations that James might have feelings for Jolene. But now, considering that Jolene had moved out, all doubts were completely dispelled.

Although many wealthy young ladies had been rejected by James, at this moment, there were even more of them who wanted to get closer to him.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 848-dered over.

She continued to work diligently at Bardoff Hospital. After some time in the hospital, she had slowly built up her reputation. Now, there were quite a few people who came to her for treatment every day, and Jenny had once again found a sense of accomplishment of her own.

After a busy day, she was exhausted. She changed her clothes and walked out of the hospital, intending to go back early and rest. However, she didn't expect to see Flint, who hadn't shown up for the past few days, waiting for her today.

It was not that Jenny had seen a picture of him beforehand. Flint wore a black tracksuit and stood right before the hospital entrance, making his presence known. It was easy to guess who he was since he was being so obvious about it. Jenny would be a fool if she couldn't deduce the identity of the person before her.

"You must be Jenny?" The man in black had obviously done some research beforehand as he recognized Jenny at a glance.

Jenny nodded and asked tentatively, "Are you Flint, Melissa's senior?"

"Yeah, where is Melissa? I heard that she disappeared after challenging you, "

Flint said, keeping his eyes trained on Jenny.

"Don't say it like that; others would think I did something to her. She's doing well and living a carefree life now." Jenny thought Melissa was indeed living a carefree life, with a new job and a good living situation. She was in a much better state than before.

Flint didn't seem to genuinely care about Melissa's current situation and quickly got to the point. "I came to find you for a reason, and I believe you know why.

Choose somewhere. Running away won't help."

Running away? Jenny was speechless. Where had she run off to? Wasn't she waiting for him to show up all these days?

She concluded that even disciples taught by the same master could be very different. This person was obviously not as likable as Melissa.

"Fine, come with me." Jenny didn't want to waste time. It was just a fight— she wasn't intimidated by the man one bit.

With that, Jenny led Flint to the underground parking lot. There was rarely anyone there, and Jenny chose a corner where people wouldn't easily see them.

Before the two could start, Melissa appeared out of nowhere. "Flint, let's talk this through. Is there really a need to fight?"

Seeing her appear, Flint was first startled, but then he understood what was going on. "It seems you've been subdued. No wonder you haven't been in touch with me," he said with a sneer.

"What do you mean by being subdued? I've found myself a new boss. Jenny treats me very well. So, I can't stand by and watch you bully her," Melissa said as she walked over to stand beside Jenny, indicating her alliance clearly.

Flint furrowed his brow. He knew of Melissa's skills and knew he might not have the upper hand in a fight with her alone. If the two of them teamed up against him, he wasn't sure about his chances of winning.

Frowning, he asked, "Are you going to help her deal with me?"

"Jenny is my boss now. Of course I have to help her,’ Melissa said with a smile.

Flint's expression darkened as Melissa continued, "Flint, if we join hands, you might not win. Maybe you should just give up. Your relationship with Jonathan isn't that great anyway."

The relationships among the fellow disciples who trained under Olanna were quite average, and it wasn't to the extent that they would stick up for each other.

Upon hearing that, Flint didn't give up on his challenge but instead looked straight at Jenny and said, "Since that's the case, I'll be honest. The reason why I agreed to help Alicia deal with you is not just because of Jonathan." "What are you after then?" Before Jenny could ask, Melissa beat her to it, curiosity evident in her voice.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 849-Who Won?

Flint rolled his eyes at her and said, "As martial artists, we value the reputation of our masters the most. Your defeating both Jonathan and Melissa successively has brought great shame to us. My main purpose of coming here is to uphold my master's dignity!"

As for avenging Jonathan, it was secondary. In his opinion, Jonathan was inferior in skill, and if he died, he could only blame it on his lackluster skills.

Revenge wasn't strictly necessary. But the problem was Jenny defeated Jonathan and then Melissa. Wouldn't that mean Tywin Munster's disciple was stronger than Olanna Roy’s disciples?

Jenny thought, "How was I supposed to know that was what you were thinking?

If you come looking fortrouble, I can't just sit around and wait to get my ass kicked, can I?"

Melissa didn't expect Flint to harbor such thoughts, so she was immediately irritated upon hearing his words. "Flint! Do you think you're the spokesperson for our master? Master hasn't even spoken up yet, so why are you sticking your nose where it doesn't belong?"

"Master is naturally too busy to bother with these things. As your senior, of course I have to take care of it." Not only did he have to take matters into his own hands, but he also had to win against Jenny to uphold his master's integrity.

Seeing that the two of them were about to get into a fight, Jenny pulled Melissa aside and said, "Alright, you wait here. I'll handle Flint."

"No, I have to help you! Let's beat him to the ground and defeat him completely!"

Melissa was all riled up and found Flint extremely annoying at that moment. The feeling was mutual for Flint. If the situation allowed it, he would have taught Melissa a lesson first, as she was too infuriating.

Jenny held her back helplessly. "Actually, it's normal for Flint to have such thoughts. You keep watch from the side. I know what to do."

Putting herself in Flint's shoes, Jenny knew although she wouldn’t come looking for trouble as he did, she would probably be unhappy about the damage to her master's reputation. Since the other party came looking for her to settle the score, there was no harm in duking it out.

Before starting, Jenny felt it was necessary to clarify something. "If I defeat you, will there be other disciples who'll come after me?" If that were the case, she would have an endless amount of opponents to deal with.

"Don't worry, regardless of your win or loss, no one will trouble you in the future," Flint promised.

Jenny nodded, feeling relieved. "Alright then, let's begin."

Melissa was forced to stand aside and watch the two fight. She wasn't too worried, though. Since it was just a fight between two martial artists, they probably wouldn't go for the kill. At most, there would be some injuries, which were way better than what she had originally anticipated.

Not far away, Jenny and Flint had already started fighting. Melissa was bored and took out her phone. She’d found a very interesting novel last night, and now was the perfect time to continue reading. However, she'd barely read a couple of chapters before someone walked up to her and patted her shoulder.

"Stop reading. Let's go back."

Melissa snapped out of it and looked up at Jenny, who was in front of her, then at Flint, who was standing not far away. She was quite perplexed. "Is it over?"

"Yeah, it's over." Jenny nodded.

Melissa was even more baffled now. The fight ended faster than her previous duel with Jenny.

"Who won?" she asked.

"Flint won," Jenny stated simply.

Melissa looked at Flint and wondered, "Did he really win? Why doesn't he look happy about it at all?"

As they were talking, Flint had already walked over to them. He looked at Jenny with a complicated expression.

"Are you looking down on me? You didn't give it your all," he said, displeased.

Jenny waved her hands around in denial repeatedly. "Don't misunderstand. I was really no match for you."

While it was true that she didn't go all out, it was because she knew that even if she did, she wouldn't be a match for Flint. Since that was the case, there was no need to take things too far; it was fine to stop after exchanging a few blows.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 850-He's Strange Flint took a deep look at her but didn't say anything else. "Let's call it a draw this time. Neither of us won."

Jenny was about to refuse, but Flint didn't wait for her to speak and had already walked toward the parking lot exit.

Seeing him walk away, Jenny was speechless. "Has he always been like this?"

"Do you find him strange?" Melissa asked as she looked in the direction of the retreating Flint.

Jenny nodded. "He's a little strange indeed, but he's not as bad as you make him out to be."

Melissa shrugged. She couldn't really tell what was going on in Flint's mind.

Seeing that the matter was over without causing too much commotion, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Anyway, I'm glad we didn't get into an ugly fight with Flint. It's a pity I didn't have a chance to make a move."

As soon as she finished speaking, her phone rang. Melissa glanced at her phone screen and found it was a call from the bar's management. She answered the call and listened to the person on the other end explain the situation. Her expression immediately fell.

"What? Someone came to cause trouble? I'm coming over now. I have to teach those little brats a lesson."

After hanging up, she turned to look at Jenny and got ready to leave. ’I'll go back first. You be careful these days. If Flint comes to find you again, remember to inform me about it."

"Did something happen at the bar?" Jenny asked.

"It's nothing major, just a few little brats who like to come and make a scene. I held back and didn't do anything to them the first time. I have to teach them a lesson today." Those youngsters needed to be dealt with, as they were getting too arrogant.

"Do you need my help?" Jenny asked.

Melissa shook her head. "This kind of small issue doesn't require your attention.

I can handle it."

"Alright then, you go ahead. Call me if you need anything." Jenny didn't stop her.

Since she had decided to hand over the bar management to Melissa, she wouldn't interfere too much.

They didn't continue their conversation after that, and Melissa hurried to the bar.

Once she was some distance away, Jenny couldn't help but laugh.

She hadn't expected Melissa to be so passionate about her work. When Jenny first met her, she thought Melissa must be someone who didn't like working, which was probably why she didn't earn much money. Now, it seemed to Jenny it wasn't that Melissa didn't want to make more money- she didn't exactly have the opportunity to do that.

"What are you laughing at, Miss Walter?" A male voice came from behind Jenny.

She turned around and saw Luke coming out of the hospital. Her smile instantly froze on her face.

Soon, she regained her composure and kept the corners of her mouth raised to maintain her smile. "Were you sick, Mr. Luke? Why did you come out of the hospital?"

"I came to the hospital to find you, but I didn't expect you to have already finished work. I thought I would miss you, but I bumped into you while leaving the hospital instead." Luke smiled, but his smile was unsettling.

Jenny forced a dry laugh. "Is that so? That's quite a coincidence."

If only she'd left the parking lot a little later, she wouldn't have been so unlucky to run into Luke. She didn't know why, but she just didn't like him, feeling that he was too cunning.

Jenny wondered if her dislike toward him stemmed from her being influenced by Alec. It was possibly because she knew that these people were competing with Alec, so she subconsciously started to dislike them too.

Thinking of that, she couldn't help but feel a little alarmed. If that was the case, then Alec's influence on her was really significant.

Luke didn't know what she was thinking. Seeing her lost in thought, he asked, "Miss Walter, what are you thinking about?"

"Oh, it's nothing. Why did you come to find me?" she asked.

"Well, since I couldn't invite you to dinner last time, I came to visit again today.

You wouldn't keep rejecting my sincere efforts, right?" Luke asked with a smile.
