To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 791-Have You Been Shot?

When Jenny arrived at the scene and saw the madness, she grabbed the steering wheel and crashed the car in front of the mercenaries to stop them from shooting at the hostages. Then, she hopped out of the car and walked over to Graham and James, taking off her ski mask. ’Dad, James."

"Jenny, I know you wouldn't let us down.’ James was glad but unsurprised to see her, for he knew she'd come to their rescue.

On the other hand, Graham, who looked a little pale, forced a smile at her."

Jenny, I have nothing to worry about if you're this capable."

"Let's get into the car and talk after we leave." She was worried that Kevin and his men in the first car might turn back. Even though it was an impossible scenario, she didn't want to risk it.

"Sure." The two men nodded and went into the car that Jenny drove. They didn't walk long before Jenny noticed something amiss in Graham. "Have you been shot?"

"No, no. Let's go now." He shook his head, knowing they were at greater risk with each passing minute. Still, Jenny flipped his coat open and saw the bleeding on his lower abdomen. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she held back from crying. ’How could you say you weren't shot? Are you only planning to tell me when you're dying from blood loss?’ Despite her fury, she understood that he hid the gunshot wound from them to keep them from worrying and wasting time at the scene.

"Don’t move. I'll bandage your wound." Thankfully, Jenny had a first-aid kit with her in the car. Even though there was no tool to extract the bullet from his wound, she could at least perform simple bandaging to stop the blood loss.

"Let's go!" she yelled at the driver. With wounds in his thigh and lower abdomen, Graham must be sent to the hospital as soon as possible to avoid complications. Jenny had her regrets about not prosecuting Kevin directly, but she had to prioritize Graham's safety.

She had stationed some men at the border. Once Kevin arrived, he'd be arrested right away.

While leaving, she turned to check out the mercenaries one last time. She did not take their lives because they were in the territory of Clusia. No matter how damned they were, they should be left to the authorities and the rule of law.

The car sped down the road, and Graham was finally transported to the nearest hospital. Although the hospitals in Bardoff City were better equipped, she had no choice but to get his bullet extracted as soon as possible before transferring him to Bardoff City.

Meanwhile, Kevin and the rest of his subordinates hurried over to their destination. They finally heaved a sigh when they saw the borders.

"Boss, that woman did not come after us,’ one of his men reported.

"Great. Let's find a place to rest and get moving after dark. Once we're on the other side, we can start a wonderful new life." He beamed at the thought of the life awaiting him.

They could not cross the border in broad daylight, hence the decision to move after dark. If they were lucky, no one would spot them at all. Still, Kevin was worried that Jenny might not let them off the hook.

He took a deep breath and told himself to stop overthinking. Putting aside Jenny's capabilities, she had to tend to her father first. He believed that she'd feel thankful to have Graham back and would rather not waste her time to come after them.

Alas, he underestimated Jenny’s vengefulness. She was happy at the successful rescue, but it did not detract from her plan to get the mercenaries arrested.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 792-hey Can't Escape In an inn near the border, Evan ended the call in relief after learning that Jenny had rescued Graham and James. It was his time to shine now. This was the first time Jenny asked for his help after he returned from abroad, and he was determined not to disappoint her.

He looked at the unassembled gun on the table and picked it up. Within seconds, the gun was assembled. If Jenny was around, she’d be surprised by his proficiency. He stowed it away when he heard a knock on the door." Come in."

One of his men entered the room and reported, 'Boss, the mercenaries have arrived at the border." Evan's men were stationed across the border, and they immediately spotted the fugitives who arrived. Still, they did not make a move without an order from him. "Should we bring our men over?" the subordinate asked.

Evan shook his head. "We're not in a rush. They want to cross the border, don't they? We'll let them cross and wait forthem at the end."

It wouldn't feel thrilling enough to capture Kevin and his men right as they were about to cross. Plus, that'd be a waste of the time Evan's men spent preparing at the border. Evan wanted to give hope to the fugitives, who were looking forward to exiting the border after scaling the mountains, only to plunge them into despair at the other end. He couldn't wait to see them breakdown.

He vowed to torture the fugitives as payback for hurting the people he knew.

Only then would he be putting his years of experience to good use.

After Graham's surgery at a town hospital late at night, he was transported back to Bardoff City. Jenny finally felt assured when he was warded in a hospital in Bardoff City.

After James completed his full body checkup, he went to visit Graham. "Is Mr.

Walter doing okay?’ "Yeah. The doctor gave him a checkup and said he was fine. But he will need time to recover because of excessive blood loss," Jenny replied.

"It was my fault for not protecting him well." James felt guilty. Being the younger one, he should have protected Graham, and the fact that Graham was Jenny's dad weighed on him more.

However, Jenny disagreed. "James, why do you think it's your fault? It's all the fault of the mercenaries.’ "And the Glasses." His face was as cold as winter at the mention of the Glass family.

A murderous gleam flashed across Jenny's eyes. She had no mercy left for the Glasses. "James, I'll leave them to you. If we don't get rid of them once and for all, we'll be at risk of their attacks. You understand what I'm saying, right?’ "Don't worry. I get what you mean. I will not give them a second chance."

Looking at the list of crimes that the Glasses had committed over the years, there was plenty of reason to put them in jail forever.

James hadn't considered doing so before because he did not think the business competition warranted airing dirty laundry. After all, every one of the Ten Elites had things they'd rather cover up. Since the Glasses pushed their luck too far, James wouldn't go easy on them this time.

He immediately went to work. Before leaving, he asked, "You made arrangements at the border, didn’t you?"

Although he was more than familiar with Jenny's meticulous personality, he wanted to double-check with her just in case. He would immediately send his men over to stop Kevin from escaping if she had no plans to deal with Kevin at the border.

"Don't worry. They can't escape." She smiled. Nothing would go wrong with Evan standing guard at the border.

James beamed, knowing that Jenny would never spare Kevin and his men. He did not linger long in Graham's room and went to the Windsor Corp next. He had plans to put the Glasses behind bars for life.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 793-You Won't Be Where You Are Without Me After James left, Paul showed up in the room. She was a little taken aback to see him. "What's wrong?" "Your dad…"

"He's fine," she replied with questions in her head. Since when did Paul care about her as a person? She soon learned the purpose of his visit.

"If you have time, you should visit Alec," he urged her. "His room is one floor below. You haven’t visited him once since he woke up." He could tell that Alec wanted to meet Jenny, even though his friend never specifically brought it up.

She frowned at Paul quizzically. "Well, that's great to hear, but why should I visit him? You should get Miss Watkins to do that." She had more important tasks; she had to look after Graham while communicating with Evan to prevent any missteps in their border operation.

"Jenny, Alec has regained his memories," Paul explained again.

She merely shrugged at him with a speechless expression. "Oh, really?

That's good news. It's the reason he came for the surgery in the first place."

Paul believed that Jenny understood what he was implying and was feigning ignorance. There was nothing he could do if she played dumb.

"I still wish you would visit him." With that, Paul left the room. Whether Jenny wanted to visit Alec was out of his control.

She pursed her lips and watched as he left. Then, she sat down again. She really had no time for Alec, and even if she did visit him, she wouldn't know what to say to him.

At the same time, Kevin and his men were crossing the mountain. Once they got to the other side, they would land in a foreign land where Clusia could not lay a finger on them. By then, they'd be truly free.

The thought kept their spirits high, especially knowing they could receive a fair share of money from the ransom. No one spared any thoughts for their colleagues who had been arrested in the ambush; some were thrilled that there were fewer people to divide the fruits of their labor.

"Guys, keep it up. We're getting across soon," Kevin encouraged his men, fearing they'd make a mistake at this crucial comment. His fears came true when they reached the top of the mountain, where fires were being lit up. They could only see the foreign land ahead if they made it down the mountain.

Soon, Kevin and his men were surrounded by crowds with torches in their hands. Evan emerged from the crowd and smirked at Kevin. "Do you think you could escape?"

Kevin frowned at the sight of Evan. ‘ And who are you? Do I know you?" Evan looked familiar, but he could not recall any memories of their acquaintance.

Given that this was his first visit to Clusia, he would be surprised if he had brushed shoulders with Evan.

"Who am I? You don't have the honor to know me." While snickering, Evan took out his gun.

Kevin responded immediately, pulling out his own gun. 'Let us go, or we all die here today." He had to bite the bullet and dash to the finish line that was so close to him. It was impossible to give up at that point.

Evan showed no fear at the sight of Kevin's gun. He even took a few steps forward and laughed as he pressed his forehead against the muzzle. "I dare you to shoot me."

When they exchanged glances, Kevin looked like he was spooked out. "It's you!

It's you!" Amid his screams, Evan pulled the trigger and shot him in the heart, taking him out in no time. Then, Evan knelt on the ground and examined his body. "Yes, it's me. You won't be where you are without me."

 

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 794-He Deserved to Die When Evan rushed to the hospital, he found Jenny by Graham's bed. She was surprised to see him. "Have you captured Kevin and his men?” "Yes, we caught all of them." He nodded and added, "But I accidentally shot Kevin dead when he fought back.’ "Oh, he deserved to die anyway." Jenny didn't harbor any suspicion as she was not surprised at Kevin's refusal to cave in.

A gleam flashed across Evan's eyes when Jenny did not doubt his account.

"How's Mr. Walter?" he asked.

"He's doing fine. He just needs to be hospitalized for a few days,’ she informed him. Later, he stayed back to support her by Graham's side.

In Alec's room one floor below, Paul noticed that Alec was in a bad mood and offered words of comfort, "Something's happened to her family. It's not surprising that she didn't visit you."

"You don't have to make me feel better. I get it." Alec knew that Jenny must be extremely disappointed in him after everything. Even he was disappointed in himself.

"Why did I suffer from memory loss? Without that, Jenny and I would have been together by now,’ he silently lamented as pain shot through his heart.

"I'm not trying to make you feel better. Graham Walter was abducted by someone hired by the Glasses. He also got shot and stays in the room above you.’ Paul handed Alec his phone to show him the news of Graham and James' abduction.

Frowning, Alec read the news on the phone and appeared shocked. "When did this happen?"

"It happened on the night of the surgery," Paul answered. Alec felt irked because he believed Paul should have informed him in the first instance. Upon second thought, he realized that Paul did not want to add to his worries, especially when he was hospitalized.

"So, how is everything?’ he sighed and asked.

"Graham Walter should be fine. I asked the doctor about his condition; he suffered from excessive blood loss. He will be okay after taking some rest. "

Paul looked into all the details, seemingly knowing Alec would be concerned.

Alec nodded after learning that Graham was doing fine. He would be riddled with guilt if something bad happened to Graham and he failed to offer Jenny help.

"Thanks," he expressed his gratitude to Paul, who shook his head, unbothered.

"Don't mention it."

Alec did not say more after that.

The door opened, and Blake wandered in with lunch. 'Alec, I've consulted the doctor, and he said you're allowed to eat solids. These are healthy food, so eat up!’ She walked up to the bed and laid out the dishes she had brought for him.

"You should have lunch now. I need to go to the office for some work issues,’ Paul excused himself. He believed that Alec needed to confront the elephant in the room on his own.

After Paul left, Blake sat by the bed to feed Alec. "Here, have some soup."

"It's fine. Leave the food here. I'll eat later." He rejected her help. After regaining his memories, he developed a dislike for Blake.

She didn't insist and put the bowl away. However, she didn't leave the room. 'I know what's in your mind. You think that I've lied to you."

Alec offered no reply, but he indeed thought Blake had lied to him.

"Psychology is a complex field. It's not easy to understand what an individual is thinking. Perhaps, I made a misdiagnosis somewhere, but could you be sure that your feelings for Jenny Walter aren't driven by your mental health issues?

You mentioned that you had a compulsive need to control her and could not tolerate any man who showed up by her side. You even wished that you could physically tie her by your side. These are symptoms of an underlying issue."

She went on, "Maybe you had real feelings for her unrelated to your mental health issues, but later, your behavior was indeed affected by your mental health struggles. I do not believe that I misdiagnosed you."

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 795-5 Driven Mad by Envy Blake was able to give a confident and eloquent speech only because she had prepared her excuse before the visit. Alec indeed suffered from mental health issues before, and as long as that was undisputed, her arguments would stand.

Alec understood her explanation. Before the memory loss, he had noticed an odd development in his obsession with Jenny, which was why he had sought her help to prevent things from getting out of hand. The memory loss that came after was an unexpected development.

"I do not intend to argue on the details, but I'd like to make it clear that our relationship is strictly business. I have no interest in you, and you shouldn't have any feelings for me." He gave her a cold glance. No matter how Blake explained herself, he couldn't bring himself to like her. Still, he needed to keep her around because he had to rely on the Watkins' support.

His words didn't anger Blake. She'd take anything as long as he didn't suggest a breakup. ’Okay. I got it. Our goal is to create a win-win situation, and I'm clear on that. You should have lunch now. We can discuss it later.’ She smiled at him and dropped the conversation.

In the next few days, Jenny and Alec did not meet up even though they were both in the hospital. They seemed to avoid seeing each other as though they were strangers.

A week later, Alec was discharged from the hospital, and Graham made a full recovery. However, Graham appeared slightly lethargic after his injuries, perhaps due to his old age.

"Alec, the other families visited Mr. Walter when he was in the hospital. Should we visit him too?’ Blake casually suggested while she packed Alec's stuff.

He went up to her to yank his belongings from her and said, ’Sure."

"Great. Let's visit Mr. Walter before we get the paperwork done." Blake wasn't furious even though Alec made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with her.

He nodded, and the two left for Graham's room a floor above.

Graham was discharged on the same day as Alec. Jenny had processed the paperwork early in the morning and was ready to leave with Graham. Therefore, she looked rather taken aback when Alec and Blake showed up.

"Mr. Walter and Miss Walter, we're so sorry for visiting you at this time. Alec's health has recently improved. That's why we had to pay you a late visit." Blake began with an apology.

"Miss Watkins, how nice of you,' Graham exchanged pleasantries, but he had no opinion of Alec and Blake. His attention lingered a little longer on Alec simply because he was Jenny's ex-husband, but that was all to it.

Alec made small talk with Graham but couldn't help stealing glances at Jenny.

She seemed to have lost weight during his absence and showed signs of tiredness, presumably from acting as Graham's caretaker. He was worried about her but did not vocalize his concern.

Sensing his gaze, she tilted her head to look at him and met his eyes. She froze but quickly smiled and nodded at him. He was pained by the awkwardness between them.

"Mr. Walter, since you're discharged, we will not take up your time. I'll need to get the paperwork done for Alec too." Blake planned to leave after a quick chat with Graham. She had noticed the interaction between Alec and Jenny and was driven mad by envy.

As she had feared, Alec only had eyes for Jenny once he regained his memories.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 796I Have Nothing to Do with Him Graham turned back and looked at Jenny. Seeing that she had no reaction, he nodded and said, "Alright then, Miss Watkins and Mr. Faust, take care on your way. I'd see you off, but…"

"No need to trouble yourself, Mr. Walter. Take care of your health." Blake smiled and pulled Alec to leave.

Surprisingly, Alec didn't lose his temper. After nodding to Graham, he followed Blake out. Once they had left, Graham looked at Jenny with concern and asked, 'What's going on between you and Alec?” "I have nothing to do with him. Don't worry too much about it," Jenny replied.

Perhaps because she had experienced too much, she was no longer hung up on love and romance. It would be great if she met someone who also liked her, but it was fine if she didn't.

Graham didn't press the topic any further. With a smile, he said, 'Alright, I won't worry about it."

Alec and Blake ran into Evan outside the ward the moment they walked out. The man was surprised to see them.

"Hello, Mr. Faust, Miss Watkins."

"Hello, Mr. Clarke," Blake greeted. She had been monitoring Jenny with great attention and investigated everyone around her. However, she was particularly interested in Evan. Although the information she gathered about him seemed ordinary, there was something strange about his experience overseas.

Alec didn't say hello to Evan. He wasn't going to treat his rival in love well.

"Are the two of you here to visit Mr. Walter?" Evan couldn't care less about Alec.

In fact, he considered it a good sign as it meant Alec didn't have confidence.

Blake nodded. "Yes, we planned to come earlier, but you know that Alec just recovered, so we delayed our visit until now."

"Oh, I see. I didn't know."

It was a lie. Many knew about Alec's surgery, and so did Evan. However, he refused to acknowledge it. After all, he and Alec were not close. Why would he care about him?

Blake awkwardly chuckled. She could see that Alec and Evan were not getting along well.

"Well, Mr. Clarke, you should go inside. I think Mr. Walter and Dr. Walter are both waiting for you."

"Alright." Evan nodded. "I came to pick them up and help them with the discharge. I won't take any more of your time."

With that, Evan entered the ward. Alec watched him talk to Jenny as if they were good friends, and his heart was filled with jealousy. If it weren't for his amnesia, it would have been him standing by Jenny's side now. If he had Jenny, he wouldn't bother with the Fausts. However, what was done was done. He had to get the Faust family in his hands. As for Jenny, he hadn't figured out what he would do with her yet.

While Evan didn't know what Alec was brewing in Alec's mind, he could see the jealousy in his eyes.

"Let's go," Blake said. "We have to get you discharged."

Alec nodded and followed Blake out.

Graham invited Evan to stay for dinner at Walter Castle. Compared to Alec, he preferred Evan more. Although Alec was a potential heir of the Faust family and Evan did not have a good family background, Graham wasn't concerned about it. As long as Jenny liked him, he had no objections.

However, he couldn't help but be concerned when he noticed Jenny's lack of interest in Evan. He wondered if his daughter had lost faith in love after her experience with Alec. If that was the case, Alec was a horrible person who had caused his daughter to suffer greatly.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 797-Speak Your Mind Jenny was unaware of what her father was thinking. Even if she knew, she would probably be at a loss at how to react.

"Dad, wait here with Evan. I'll go to the kitchen and have a look.*

Since Graham had just been discharged from the hospital, she needed to remind the kitchen staff not to make anything too spicy or heavy.

Graham nodded as she left. After all, he wanted to have a private chat with Evan. After Jenny left, Graham looked at Evan with a smile. "Evan, I heard you just returned from abroad. What are your plans for the future? Are you planning to go abroad again?"

"Mr. Faust, I don't plan to leave again this time," Evan replied. His tone was full of respect.

Graham was growing increasingly pleased with him. Grinning, he said, "I have lived for so many years, and I can see you have feelings for Jenny. Am I right?*

"You have good eyesight, Mr. Faust," Evan did not deny that he liked Jenny.

If Graham couldn't see that, he would be a fool. 1 Graham was even happier when he heard his confirmation. "I have no objections. As long as Jenny likes you, I will accept you."

"Mr. Faust, you can rest assured that I will do my best,’ Evan said confidently.

"By the way, there's something I wished to talk to you about,’ he added, suddenly becoming serious. 1 "What is it? Speak your mind,* Graham nodded.

"After this, are you planning to let Jenny take over Walter Inc?" Evan asked. He could tell that Graham was preparing for that recently.

Graham was not surprised that he could see it. He nodded and said, "Yes, in a few days, I plan to formally announce Jenny's taking over of Walter Inc. As for myself, I have something I want to do.’ After almost dying this time, Graham found that he still had regrets. Therefore, he wanted to do what he wanted while he still could, so he wouldn't regret it for the rest of his life.

"In that case, let me be frank, Mr. Faust. I want to work in Walter Inc," Evan said without beating around the bush, 1 Graham was stunned. He didn't expect Evan to make such a request.

Before he could answer, Evan immediately took out some documents." This is my certificate, academic transcript, and resume detailing my work experience.

While I would not say that I am excellent, I think I'm qualified to work at Walter Inc."

Graham took the documents and looked at them. He had to admit that Evan was much more outstanding than he had imagined. He had never thought that Evan was so capable. Even if he had achieved nothing, as long as Jenny liked him, he could accept him. However, Evan was exceptional. He was happy and had no reason to refuse his request.

There was one question that lingered on his mind, though.

Looking at Evan, he returned the documents to him. "Can I ask why? If you want to pursue Jenny, you don’t need to work at Walter Inc. In fact, you should know that Jenny is not interested in the company. If you work there, you won't have as much time to see her.' "I know. I want to manage Walter Inc for her so that she can do what she likes,"

Evan said with a smile. That was his true intention.

Upon hearing his answer, Graham was stunned. He couldn't imagine how deeply Evan felt for Jenny that he was willing to do so much for her.

"Mr. Faust, I know you are most worried about Jenny. I can guarantee that she will never be in danger as long as I am here. I want to work at Walter Inc, not only to take care of her but also to prove myself."

After all, he needed a place to prove his ability after returning from abroad. Even with those words, Graham knew that Evan mainly did it for Jenny.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 798-Be My Girlfriend?

Seeing his persistence, Graham didn't say more. He was willing to grant his request. Although he had already picked out some reliable people to help Jenny, having someone he trusted to oversee the company was still better. Even if Jenny ended up not working at the company later, Walter Inc would have no problem.

If Evan could pursue Jenny and end up with her, that would be perfect.

Imagining that, he couldn't stop himself from smiling, which puzzled Evan.

Evan wondered if he had said something funny. "Mr. Walter?" He called out to him. Whether Graham agreed or not, he wanted to hear the answer.

Hearing his call, Graham realized he had been distracted and let out a dry cough. "I have no objections, but I still have to talk to Jenny about it. After all, the company will soon belong to her. If she refuses, I have no choice."

Although he felt there was no reason for Jenny to refuse, he still had to ask her.

Since she was about to become the president of Walter Inc, she deserved some respect.

Jenny returned from the kitchen and asked, "What are you talking about?"

"Jenny, you're here just in time. Come sit." Graham beckoned her to sit next to him before telling her about Evan wanting to work at Walter Inc.

After listening, Jenny frowned slightly. "Evan, you really don't have to do this for me-’ "Jenny, it's not for you. I have to find a job now that I am back, and it's better to work with you than for someone else. At least you won't bully me at work, right?"

Evan interrupted her before she could finish. He knew her first reaction would be to refuse, so he prepared his reply beforehand.

Although what he said made sense, Jenny wasn’t a fool. "What about Gilbert?

What will he do if you come to Walter Inc? Weren't you planning to manage the company with him when you came back?"

They had told her that they were collaborating on a business venture. Since Gilbert's company in Parrington was not large, he had called Evan back to help with its expansion.

"It's okay. Your brother doesn't need me at all. He's already capable enough. If I work with him, I won't be able to fully utilize my abilities." After all, Gilbert had told Jenny that to deceive her. He didn't need anyone to help him manage the company.

Jenny frowned as if she was still hesitant. Graham couldn't bear to see this any longer. "Jenny, Evan is a capable person. It would be great if he could come to the company to help you. Why don't you want him to help you?"

Even if Jenny was not acquainted with Evan, Graham still would have recruited a talent like Evan. Since he wanted to work at Walter Inc, there was no reason to refuse him.

Jenny sighed. Of course, she knew that it would be great if Evan worked at Walter Inc. However, she didn't want to owe him too much, nor did she want to affect Evan's original plans.

"Jenny, I know what you're thinking, but don't worry. Walter Inc is one of the best companies in our country. Many people want to work there. If I work there, it's not a loss for me."

It was a win-win situation for everyone.

"Evan…" Jenny still couldn't shake off the feeling that he was only doing it for her.

"If you really don't want to owe me anything, why don't you just agree to be my girlfriend? That way, I can take care of Walter Inc for you and guarantee that Walter Inc will make further progress," Evan said, smiling brightly.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 799-When Are You Planning to Get Married?

Jenny was startled for a moment. It scared her a little. "Evan, are you kidding me?"

Evan merely laughed. They both knew he wasn't joking. Nonetheless, since Jenny pretended she didn't know, he didn't say more or pressure her for fear of invoking her resentment.

Meanwhile, Graham couldn't help smiling. He had never seen his daughter afraid, which was quite an interesting sight.

He secretly applauded Evan, who smiled and thanked him. It felt good to have his support.

After contemplating it for a moment, Jenny finally agreed. "Evan, I'm glad you work at Walter Inc, but let me tell you first that you should never force yourself to stay because of me. If you don't want to do it anymore in the future, just tell me."

"Don't worry, I wont force myself to remain in a miserable situation," Evan replied, nodding.

Just like that, a decision was made. Soon, dinner was ready, and the three of them walked to the dining area to enjoy a hearty meal.

Compared to the happy atmosphere in Walter Castle, the one in Faust Manor was depressing. At the moment, Alec was the only outsider left in the competition for the leadership of the Faust family. Although there had been a few others at the start, they had all been eliminated.

"Let's eat," Zeke instructed, and everyone started to eat silently.

It was the Fausts' weekly gathering, and everyone showed up. Glancing at everyone at the table, Alec sneered secretly.

Among Zeke's two sons, Xavier was most likely to inherit the leadership of the Faust family, according to the outsiders' opinion. Zeke has a son and a daughter.

Meanwhile, Zeke's second son, Yakov Faust, was a person of low profile who didn't appear to be competing for it. However, that could merely be an act. Just like Xavier, he had a son and a daughter.

"How are you, Alec? I heard you had a minor surgery?" Julian asked.

Julian was the rich young man who had chatted with Jenny at the engagement banquet. He was a typical rich kid-not very smart but very arrogant.

Alec nodded and said, "Hmm, I'm fine now.’ He didn't inform the Fausts about his amnesia and made up an excuse to avoid any trouble.

"That's good. Alec, you have to take care of your body, or else someone might get a little excited," he said, pointedly glancing at Luke.

Luke was Xavier's eldest son, infamous for his scheming. He was older than Alec and had to help his father fight Alec for the leadership of the Faust family.

He was not happy about it. In his opinion, since Alec was qualified to compete for the position of the head of the Faust family, he should be qualified to compete too. Why did he have to help his father fight for it?

Luke glared at Julian, called him a fool, and ignored him. Luke wondered if Julian genuinely thought Alec inheriting the Faust family would benefit them.

What good things would come? If Alec inherited the Faust family, he would not spare the Fausts of Bardoff City.

Julian wanted to retort, but Isabelle stared him down. He was always afraid of his sister, so he kept quiet and kept his upset feelings to himself.

Zeke didn't participate in the youngsters' quarrel, nor did Xavier and Yakov. It would be ridiculous If they did.

After finishing his meal, Zeke looked at Alec and asked, "When are you planning to marry that Watkins girl?"

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 800-Are You Interested in Her Too?

"We haven't decided to do that yet," Alec answered truthfully. After all, they hadn't been together for long, and it was too soon to consider marriage.

"The Watkins and the Fausts are a good match. If you feel it's appropriate, you should set the wedding date soon/ Zeke said.

Alec nodded, wondering what his intention was. "Don't worry, I'll take care of it."

Zeke didn't say much after hearing his answer. Instead, he looked at Luke and Julian, scolding them, "What about you two? When are you planning to get married?’ "Grandpa, I haven't even found a girlfriend yet. How can I get married?" Julian pouted, feeling that his grandfather was being unreasonable.

Completely disregarding his reply, Zeke turned to Luke. After all, he was his eldest grandson and was at a marriageable age.

Luke put down his utensils and asked seriously, "What do you think of Jenny Walter, Grandpa?"

Instantly, the mood in the room changed. Julian sneaked a glance at Alec, whose expression turned dreadful. They were all aware of his past relationship with Jenny and wondered what Luke was trying to do by reminding him of her.

Zeke couldn't be bothered about it. After a moment of contemplation, he said, "I've met that girl, and she has some courage. Considering how things are going with Graham, she'll likely take over the Walter family soon. Then she'll be the first among your age group to inherit her family business."

Although the Fausts were at the top of the Ten Elites, after Jenny took over the Walter family, she would have much more power than the children of the Faust family. After all, they still had to live under their grandfather’s control. While he was their grandfather, they still did not have power in their own hands.

"Well, I thought so too." Luke nodded, and his eyes shone behind his goldrimmed glasses. "Grandpa, do you think she's qualified to join our family?"

His question made it clear that he didn't care about Alec's feelings. To be fair, Alec had already divorced Jenny, and his feelings were no longer important.

"Are you interested in her?" Zeke asked, his gaze unreadable.

"I am. I think she's quite capable. If she joins our family, she would barely be qualified," Luke said. He said "barely" because the Walters was one of the weaker families among the Ten Elites and was only slightly stronger than the Glasses, who had fallen previously.

It was only because Jenny was about to take over the Walters that Luke was interested in her. After all, there was a big difference between the eldest daughter of the Walter family and the president of Walter Inc.

Upon hearing that, Julian couldn't help saying, ’Luke, you're too superficial. You weren't interested in her when she didn’t want to take over the Walter family, but now that she is, you're interested in her? That's so shameless."

Luke turned and glanced at him, "What? Do you have a problem with that? Or are you interested in her too?"

Being no match for him, Julian stared blankly at him without saying a word.

"Of course Julian has no interest in her," Isabelle said. "It's just that he thinks you're being too calculative, which is something to be ashamed of." Isabelle couldn't bear to see her younger brother victimized by Luke, so she spoke up for him.

Snorting, Luke retorted, "You think it's a shame? I don't think so. I'm doing all of this for the sake of the family. What do you think, Grandpa?"
