Ch. 631..640
To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 631-chapter will update soon
To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 632-I've Got My Eyes on You Alec was confused. "Why would he suddenly make such a decision?" "I don't know," Blake replied. "Maybe it's because he feels guilty about what your grandfather did for him. Perhaps he's trying to make up for it now?"
She didn't know the real reason.
Perhaps giving Alec the opportunity to compete among the Faust family was a form of compensation, especially since the opportunity was rare. However, Alec didn't think the head of the Fausts in Bardoff City was so kind.
It was likely that he was using him to sharpen the skills of the eldest sons and grandsons of the Fausts. They weren't qualified to inherit the Faust family if they couldn't handle the challenge. However, if they came out on top, it would show they were capable and worthy. Naturally, the current head of the family would trust them to take over the reins. As for an outsider like Alec, could the Fausts entrust themselves to him?
Alec's eyes, however, shone brightly. It was still an excellent opportunity. If he didn't cherish it, it would be a waste. He had to seize this chance to establish his position within the Fausts!
"Have you decided?" Blake asked, observing his firm gaze. She had already guessed Alec's choice, so she wasn't surprised.
Alec nodded and stopped thinking about the Fausts. Instead, he looked at Blake and asked, "What are your motives?"
He didn't believe that she had no agenda of her own.
"I'm your doctor. Isn't it my duty to save you?" Blake shrugged. She was lucky to have called him that night and discovered that something had happened to him.
As a result, she immediately had people in Parrington save him.
Fortunately, they arrived in the nick of time and pulled him out of the river. If they had come later, they would have only found his body.
Alas, Alec didn't believe her. He stared at her and asked again, "What are you trying to do?” Blake shrugged again. "I'm not trying to do anything. I just think that you'll need my help if you want to take over the Faust family."
Alec was confused. Blake continued, "Let me reintroduce myself. I'm Blake from the Watkins family, one of the Ten Elites in Bardoff City, just like the Fausts. My goal is simple: I'll do my best to help you get the Faust family, and then you'll help me get the Watkins family."
She grinned at him, her eyes full of ambition.
Although she was the daughter of the Watkins, Blake didn't have the opportunity to inherit it. After all, in the eyes of those old fogies, the heir had to be a man.
Before Alec appeared, she had already resigned herself to this fact. However, now, she felt that she had a fighting chance.
Alec thought her goal was rather reasonable, so he could accept it. He was just about to make a deal with her when Blake added, "I also have a personal goal."
Alec frowned. Blake leaned closer and whispered in his ear, "I've got my eyes on you."
With that, she left, leaving nothing but her laughter echoing in the room.
Alec wasn't sure how to respond. Although Blake was beautiful, he wasn't interested in her. However, he wasn't repulsed by the idea. They were using each other, so there was no need for him to define their relationship. All he needed was a plan on how to take over the Fausts.
He wondered what Jenny was like. Alec wasn't a man who would get obsessed over a woman. Hence, he figured that he must have been really sick for him to have acted that way. Fortunately, he had recovered and didn't plan to be involved with her again now that they were divorced.
Suddenly, Alec snapped back to reality. Why was he thinking about Jenny again? He should be thinking about how to take over the Fausts. Everything else wasn't important.
To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 633-Let's Stay Out of Each Other's Hair Alec contacted his friends and family in Parrington, including Old Mr.
Faust, Vincent, and even Paul, but not Jenny. It wasn't until the next day that Jenny learned from Vincent that Alec was still alive. She couldn't believe it, feeling both happy and finding it surreal.
Jenny and the Windsors had just implemented their plan to take down the Glasses. Before she even had a chance to investigate the Glasses, she was told that Alec was fine. She wondered if it was a work of the Glasses or if Alec had escaped from them on his own.
Jenny had many questions to ask, but above all that, she was eager to see Alec.
After the call with Vincent, she was about to call Alec when it finally hit her.
Vincent had told her that Alec had contacted them a few days ago, so why hadn't he contacted her?
Feeling a little suspicious, she eventually dialed Alec's number. She had to confirm whether he was really safe. The phone rang for a long time before he answered.
Jenny suddenly realized her palms were sweaty, but she didn't understand why she was so nervous. Before she could figure it out, the call connected.
"Hello?"
"Alec, are you really alright?" Jenny asked immediately.
On the other end of the line, Alec seemed to be stunned. It took him a moment to reply, "Yes."
"Where are you? Are you in Bardoff City or Parrington?" She had too many questions to ask him and felt it would be better to meet in person.
Little did she know, Alec was frowning on the other end of the line. "I'm in Bardoff City."
"Great! I'll visit you right away." Jenny was glad he was in Bardoff City. If he were in Parrington, she wouldn't be able to get there in time. However, there was no reply from Alec. He didn't offer his exact location. Finally, Jenny realized that something was amiss with his behavior. "Alec?" she called out again, feeling a little uncertain.
What he said next was so unbelievable that the call ended before Jenny could react.
"I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused. I didn't mean to do it, but it doesn't matter now. I just want to tell you that I won't bother you again from now on.
Since we're divorced, let's stay out of each other's hair. You know what I mean, right?"
He figured Jenny would be happy to hear that since she had always seemed to dislike him bothering her, according to the information he had received.
Jenny was dumbfounded. What did he mean by staying out of each other's hair?
Jenny couldn't figure it out, so she called him again. However, there were no rings, indicating he had probably blocked her number.
Although Jenny was angry, she found it strange. It didn't seem like something Alec would say. Perhaps the person who picked up the call wasn't Alec.
With that thought in mind, she made a phone call. ‘Hey, please run a check on someone for me. I want to know where he is now."
Half an hour later, she arrived at Faust Manor and was shocked to learn that Alec was related to the Bardoff City's Faust. Getting her teeth, she used her status as the eldest daughter of the Walters to enter the compound and meet Alec in person.
To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 634-You Don't Like Me at All?
Even though Alec had lost his memory, he had seen pictures of Jenny, so he recognized her the moment she appeared. He had the impulse to rush over and hug her, but he resisted. On the one hand, it was because they were in Faust Manor, and on the other hand, he chalked his desire to embrace as his unresolved psychological issue.
"What are you doing here?" he asked coldly.
He had no intention of telling anyone about his amnesia as he thought it was unnecessary since he could learn everything about himself from the information he had been given. If others knew about his amnesia, they might do something to him.
Jenny didn't understand why he was being so cold. He had only been missing for a few days, so why did it seem like he had changed completely? She had already decided to reconcile with him, but he behaved as if he didn't like her one bit, as if his previous affection had been forced.
"I thought I was clear enough,” Alec said, looking at Jenny stoically.
At that moment, Jenny felt a chill in her heart. "You mean to say you don't like me at all?" she asked.
He nodded without hesitation, although it sent a stab of pain through him. He tried hard to suppress it so that no one would notice. Although they were alone in the living room at the moment, Alec knew that many people were secretly watching them.
He didn't want to show any unusual behavior or want Jenny to be targeted because of him. Although his previous affection for her was due to psychological reasons, they used to be married. He didn't hate her; he just didn't want to be involved with her anymore.
Jenny stared at Alec, trying to find any trace of emotion that showed he was lying, but there was none. He genuinely meant what he had said.
Jenny wasn't stubborn. If Alec hadn't insisted, she wouldn't have considered reconciling with him. Since he had changed his mind, she had nothing to say to him. It would be better that way-they should've gone their separate ways since their divorce.
Taking a deep breath, she forced a smile. "Okay, remember that you're the one who said it.” She hoped he would keep his word. Even if he came to her again, she wouldn't give him another chance.
When Jenny turned around and left, Alec didn't follow her. He just watched her leave with a frown on his face.
In the living room, the head of the Faust family called her over, and Jenny didn't refuse his request. Since she was there, she had to pay her respects to him.
When she reached the study, Jenny saw an elderly man whose hair had all turned white. Although his face was covered in wrinkles, he still exuded a sense of majesty. He was Zeke Faust, the current head of the Faust family. Just the mere utterance of his name was sufficient to make outsiders shudder, which was a testament to how powerful he was.
"Hello, Mr. Faust. I'm Jenny," she greeted him calmly. She wasn't afraid of him, and it wasn't just because she was a part of the Walters-she had never been afraid of anyone since she was young.
Zeke nodded back at her expressionlessly. "Miss Walter, is your father doing well?"
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Zeke suddenly talked about Alec. "I heard you were once married to Alec?" "Yes, it was a long time ago. We have been divorced for a long time," Jenny answered, not knowing why he asked about this.
To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 635-That Girl Is Something Else Zeke nodded. Without warning, his tone turned sharp as he said, "Since you've divorced, it means you're not meant to be together. It's better to keep your distance from each other in the future."
"Mr. Faust, this is a matter between Alec and me. You're interfering too much."
She was already angry with Alec. Hence, hearing Zeke say that only made her more furious.
"Alec is a good kid. He is a capable person who knows his limits. I have high hopes for him, and I don't want him to be disturbed."
Zeke was not upset by Jenny's angry rebuttal. If a few words from a young person could anger a person of his age, he would have learned nothing during all the time he had lived.
While Jenny didn't understand the relationship between Alec and the Fausts, she understood what Zeke meant. He was telling her that she was not worthy of Alec.
It made sense to her as the Fausts were at the top of the Ten Elites in Bardoff City while the Walters lagged. Hence, it was expected that he would look down on her family.
Nonetheless, she found it strange that he alluded that Alec would inherit the Fausts. Jenny figured that the possibility of that was minuscule unless Zeke had gone crazy.
"I understand what you are saying. Don't worry. I'm not a person who bothers others."
The implication of her words was clear. If Alec didn't like her, she wouldn't pester him. On the contrary, if Alec liked her, she wouldn't give up just because of Zeke's warning.
It made Zeke take a second look at her. He suddenly found her rather charming.
"You really are something, and I like that about you. I have several grandsons, all of whom are handsome and well-behaved. Would you like to consider any of them?"
It was rare for him to be satisfied with a young person. Thus, Zeke wanted to make her a part of the Fausts. While he wouldn't expect her to do anything for the family, at least she wouldn't cause them trouble.
Jenny stifled her laughter. She had just told him she wouldn't bother Alec, yet Zeke asked her to consider other members of the Fausts. She really couldn't understand what went on in that old brain of his.
"Thank you for your kind offer. Unfortunately, the Fausts are uncharted territory that I'm not worthy of trespassing." With a smile, she outright refused his offer.
It didn't infuriate Zeke. ’There's no hurry. You can take your time to think about it."
Jenny wanted to tell him she wouldn't consider it even if she had more time.
However, she ended up keeping quiet. Perhaps he was joking around, and there was no benefit in offending him.
With that thought in mind, she stopped herself from saying more.
Having said all that he wanted, Zeke waved her away. "Send my regards to your father."
"Alright, I'll take my leave now. Please take care of yourself, Mr. Faust." With that, Jenny turned around and left Zeke's study without looking back.
After he left, an elderly man walked out of the darkness and patted Zeke on the back, saying, "Mr. Faust, she's just a young member of the Walters. There's no need for you to personally meet her."
"That girl is something else." Zeke had seen many people and could tell at a glance that Jenny was not ordinary.
The old butler looked in the direction Jenny had left and shook his head." She's just a youngster who doesn't understand proper etiquette and basic manners.
You're giving her too much credit."
"Perhaps that is true, but I hope she's not ordinary," Zeke said.
Frowning, Zeke asked the butler, "Do you think Alec's feelings for her are?"
"I can't tell for sure. It seems like he doesn't have any feelings for her now.
However, according to the information we've gathered, he did like Jenny a lot before." That information was not hard to gain as many people in Parrington knew about it.
To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 636-They’re Still Too Inexperienced After a moment of silence, Zeke smiled and said, "This can only mean that either he was putting on an act in the past or the act is happening now."
The butler thought for a while before expressing his opinion. "I think he was pretending before. Perhaps he never really liked Jenny and was only clinging to her because he knew she was the daughter of the Walters. Now that he is part of the Fausts, he must feel that he is out of her league, so there's no need to pretend anymore."
There were many people like that who only cared about their own interests and benefits. It didn't matter to them whether they liked what they were doing or the people they were associated with.
His butler's suggestion made sense to Zeke.
"Keep an eye on him," Zeke instructed. "Whether he is pretending or not, it will become clear over time."
"But sir, why do you insist on bringing back those Fausts who are outsiders? Are you really planning to hand over the Faust family to them?" The butler was confused. He had been with Zeke for many years and thought he understood him well. However, he could not understand the decision he had made.
Zeke chuckled lightly. "Look at my two sons and my two grandsons. Do you think they can take over the reins of the Faust family?"
As for his three granddaughters, Zeke did not even mention them because they were unlikely to take over the Faust family in any way.
"Didn't you always have high hopes for Xavier? In recent years, all the outsiders thought you would hand over the reins to him," the butler answered.
Xavier was Zeke's eldest son, and he had been gradually managing the Faust family in recent years. Everyone thought that the Faust family would ultimately belong to him. However, Zeke's new idea caught all of them by surprise.
At the mention of his eldest son, Zeke sighed. "He does have a great business acumen, and the Faust family should do well if handed over to him, but…"
He paused for a moment before continuing, "He is ruthless. Anyone who inconveniences him, whether his siblings or children, will suffer. At this age, I don't want to see anything happen to my sons and grandsons, so I can't hand over the Fausts to him."
The butler recalled how Xavier conducted his business and began to break out in cold sweat. "What about your second son? He's not as ruthless as Xavier, sir."
"He is indeed better in this aspect, but sometimes he is too indecisive. If the Fausts are in his hands, it will be difficult for us to make any progress for many years." Zeke felt troubled as both of his sons had their shortcomings.
Listening to him, Zeke's butler knew that he had analyzed his sons thoroughly.
"What about your grandsons? Don't you think they are capable enough?"
In his opinion, Zeke's grandsons were capable in their own right, and they had good character. Hence, they could lead the Fausts.
Zeke shook his head helplessly. "They're still too inexperienced."
"I brought back Alec and the others to make them feel anxious. Also, it'll help to train them."
Upon hearing that, realization struck the old butler. "Are you planning to use Alec and others as their whetstones?"
"Yes, that's the idea," Zeke nodded. He could not let his lifelong career be handed over to outsiders, even if Alec shared the same surname.
No one knew about the conversation between them. Meanwhile, at the entrance of the Faust Manor, Jenny was stopped by someone before she could even get in the car.
"Hello, can I hitch a ride with you?" a cheerful young man asked, beaming with a smile.
If it weren't for the fact that he had just come out of Faust Manor, Jenny would have thought he was a college student who couldn't afford a taxi.
"What a pity," she thought to herself.
To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 637-What Do You Want?
"What do you want?" Jenny asked. She didn't have time to participate in the act he was putting on.
The Fausts seemed really complicated. She had just met with Alec, and Zeke had pulled her aside for a talk. Now an innocent-looking young man appeared out of nowhere, but who knew what he was up to?
Julian Faust was embarrassed by her bluntness. When he stayed silent, Jenny was about to enter the car and leave. However, Julian didn't intend to give up just yet. He stopped Jenny again and said, "I really just want to hitch a ride with you. I'm not up to anything else."
"Does the Fausts not have a driver? Even if there is no driver, you expect me to believe you can't afford to buy a car?" Jenny sneered, finding his lack of intelligence amusing.
The way she ruthlessly tore into him made Julian more embarrassed. "Just because we have a car doesn't mean we can't hitch a ride. I think you're very charming. What's wrong with trying to hitch a ride with you?"
Jenny just looked at him silently. Julian couldn't even defend his actions.
In the end, he admitted defeat, "Okay, I'll admit it. I was just curious about your relationship with Alec."
Jenny laughed. She knew he had approached her because of Alec.
Unfortunately for him, he was a little too naive to survive in the Faust family.
"You're wondering about our relationship?"
"Yeah." Julian nodded. "I'm really curious."
Jenny grinned as she replied, "I'm not telling you. Look it up yourself."
With that, she got into the car and left Faust Manor. By the time the car was completely out of sight, Julian finally came to his senses.
"Hey! What's going on? Can't you just tell me?"
He could find out for himself but didn’t want to waste his time.
"Julian, you're being too obvious. Did you really think she would tell you just like that?" Luke Faust said, his words filled with ridicule.
Julian turned to glare at him. "Well, dear cousin, if you are so capable, why don't you try it yourself?"
"Try what? I don't even care about Alec. He's just an outsider. How powerful can he be?" Luke sneered. In his view, the Fausts were destined to belong to his father. After his father passed away, the Fausts would be his. As for Alec, he didn't care about him at all.
However, Julian didn't think so. "Alec isn't that simple. You should be wary about him, so be careful not to lose in your own game."
Then, he got up and left, not staying to talk to Luke longer. They were both competing against each other, although it appeared as if only their fathers were competing.
Watching Julian leave, Luke's expression turned gloomy, "Alec Faust…l want to see how capable you really are."
When Jenny arrived at Walter Castle, James and Brandon were already in the living room. It took Jenny a while to remember that her father had invited them to dinner. She had almost forgotten about it because of Alec.
"James," Jenny called as she greeted them, trying hard to act normal.
James nodded at her. Although Jenny disguised it well, he still noticed something was amiss. "What's wrong? Did something happen?"
"No, nothing happened." Jenny shook her head, not wanting him to dwell on the topic. "Are we going to have dinner?" "We were waiting for you," Graham answered as he approached him. He didn't ask where Jenny had been but instead ushered James and Brandon toward the dining room.
To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 638-No Rush At the dining table, Jenny was not in a good mood because of what had transpired with Alec. Meanwhile, Jolene was in a good mood. Seating between James and Brandon, she alternated between enquiring about James's wellbeing and putting food on Brandon's plate.
Glancing at her, Jenny wondered how stupid Jolene was exactly. Did she think both of them would be interested in her?
Jolene's actions wouldn't make James like her. In fact, they would make Brandon uncomfortable. It was a lose-lose situation. However, Jenny didn't voice her opinion. After all, Jolene and Brandon's relationship would be elevated to the next level that day.
During dinner, Brandon professed his love for Jolene before Graham and Rowena and expressed wanting to marry her. Jolene wasn't very happy, and an unpleasant expression formed on her face.
She glared at Brandon, wondering why he had to do that when James was watching. If James misunderstood, wouldn't she lose her chance with him?
"The Britt and Walter families are a good match, but it depends on what Jolene thinks," Graham said. He had no objections; it all depended on Jolene.
Of course, Jolene was unwilling to marry Brandon, but she couldn't make it too obvious. Otherwise, Brandon might get angry and say nasty things that might not favor her situation.
She made eye contact with Rowena, who quickly caught her cue and said," My little Jolene is still young. I'm not ready to marry her off so soon. Why don't you consider Jenny? She's my daughter too and is at the right age for marriage."
Brandon and Graham's faces fell as soon as she said that.
Snorting, Graham said, ’Jenny isn't in a hurry, and I have other plans for her. II This time, Rowena's face fell. "You have made plans for Jenny but not for Jolene?"
His favoritism was blatant. Clearly, he wanted Jolene to marry so that there would be room for Jenny. There was no way Rowena would allow Graham to have his way.
"Jolene is not young anymore." Everyone present understood the meaning behind his words.
Jolene's face turned pale, and Rowena didn't look good either. However, they didn't want to make a scene since Brandon and James were there.
After the meal, Rowena left Walter Castle, but not before giving Jenny a fierce look. It seemed that she blamed everything on her.
To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 639-You Can't Have Your Cake and Eat It Too James was worried about Jenny, but since she remained quiet, it was difficult for him to ask more.
"Jenny, are you really not going to consider me? I'm not saying I'm great, but I'm not too bad either," James asked again, thinking he should give it another try.
Jenny had a headache upon hearing that. She thought that after rejecting James, he wouldn't try again.
"James, I'm not open to romance now," Jenny said; she didn't want their relationship to be anything different from what it currently was. If she were to get together with James and break up later, they would eventually become strangers.
James didn't get angry when she rejected him again, as he had expected that outcome.
"It's fine," he said, smiling. "I'm not in a hurry. I just hope that when you change your mind, you will consider me first. Let me add my name to the queue".
Jenny was speechless. After forcing a laugh, she couldn't bring herself to speak anymore. After a while, thinking that Brandon should be done, she went upstairs to look for Graham as she wanted to bring him to the garden.
Meanwhile, Jolene and Brandon were together in a gazebo. "Brandon, why did you say that in front of my father today?"
Jolene was annoyed as his actions had disrupted her plans and even affected her chances with James.
Brandon didn't know what she was thinking, nor did he care. "Jolene, don't you want to marry me?" he asked.
"I haven't made up my mind yet, Brandon." Jolene planned to continue to avoid the issue at hand as she had done before. She would continue being unclear about her answer.
Brandon's eyes flickered. Usually, he wouldn't bother to continue pursuing her, but this time it was different.
"What is there left to consider? Do you have any concerns? I promised to treat you well." Brandon looked at Jolene, his gaze full of affection.
However, hearing that only made Jolene unhappy. She didn't want him to treat her well! Nonetheless, she kept that to herself as she was afraid of losing James and Brandon at the same time, which would leave her with nothing.
"Brandon, you said you wouldn't force me. I wanted a few more years," Jolene said, wondering why Brandon was so persistent.
Brandon had to get an answer, so his face fell when he heard that. "Jolene, I am not a fool."
"Brandon…"
"You can't have your cake and eat it too! Do you think I can't see how you look at James?" Brandon was furious.
Jolene didn't expect him to get angry, so she didn't know what to do." Brandon, that's not what I mean! I just want to spend more time with my parents at home,"
Jolene insisted. She didn’t care if Brandon would buy it or not. All she knew was if she didn't give Brandon some reassurance, he wouldn't believe her.
"Do you think I'll believe that?" Brandon sneered.
It caused Jolene to panic a little. Suddenly, she hugged Brandon and said,"
Brandon, I really like you, don't be like this."
Brandon was also stunned. However, it was not because of the hug but because of what Jenny had said to him before-she had predicted everything.
To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 640-It's None of Your Business Jenny had called him previously, instructing him to act like he didn't believe Jolene regardless of what she said. Jenny did not tell him the reason. All she said was that if he did it, he would be able to marry Jolene. Now that Jolene was in his arms, Brandon began to admire Jenny although their marriage had not been confirmed yet.
Jolene and Brandon didn't notice Jenny and Graham standing nearby, watching them embrace each other.
Jenny grinned. As she had expected, Jolene would never let go of a valuable asset like Brandon. Therefore, when Brandon seemed to distrust her, Jolene had to do something. Although it was just a hug, it was enough to make Graham believe that Jolene liked Brandon.
"I told you earlier that Jolene was interested in Brandon, but you didn't believe me," Jenny told Graham.
Graham was wearing an ugly expression on his face. "Since she is interested in him, couldn't she tell us directly? Why must she sneak around like this and act in such a lowly manner?"
He was furious as he thought it was unfitting for a daughter of the Walters to behave that way. She ought to be loud and proud about the man she liked. She should have declared it and sought blessings instead of doing what she was doing now.
Graham turned around and left, but Jenny did not hurry to leave. Smiling, she approached the couple. Her slow applause startled Jolene, who quickly removed herself from Brandon's arms.
Jolene and Brandon reacted differently when they realized it was Jenny.
"Jenny!" Jolene spat through gritted teeth, regretting now that she had been caught by Jenny. She knew the consequences would be bad if Graham saw her entangled with Brandon in such a manner.
She blamed it all on Brandon. Why couldn't he just be her rebound? She hated how he even had the audacity to say he wanted to marry her when he refused to believe her.
"Since you and Mr. Britt are on the same page about your feelings, you should get married as soon as possible. Don't make Father worry about you, " Jenny said, chuckling as she teased them.
Jolene's face sank, and she glared at her unkindly. "It's none of your business."
With that, she left. She thought hugging Brandon would pacify him and make him believe her for a while. Hence, there was no need for her to linger around him any longer. Instead, she needed to get to James quickly.
When Jolene left, neither of them chased after her. While it was normal for Jenny not to bother with Jolene, Brandon surprised Jenny by remaining there.
"It seems you don't like Jolene that much," she said. She thought that Brandon really liked Jolene and would accept her regardless of her character. However, his recent actions proved otherwise.
The Britt family was also one of the Ten Elites, and it was unlikely that they raised fools who cared for nothing but true love. Although the way Brandon insisted on marrying Jolene was questionable, what did it have to do with Jenny? She couldn't be bothered about what happened to Jolene after she got married.
"Of course I like her. Why else would I do this?” Brandon replied with a smile, unconcerned about what Jenny thought of him.
Jenny didn't bother to argue with him. "Right. Anyway, I guess they will discuss your engagement later. You just need to insist on marrying her."
