Though the children were relieved, Yana sent them away on a playtime session, so that they would not see her sobbing quietly while they were gone. “I was so pumped back at school, thinking I could change the world… It was only after I graduated that I understood my insignificance!”

Frank sighed. “I’m donating a million dollars up front. Come to me again if you need more!”

As he spoke, he whipped out a debit card, even giving Yana the PIN.

Yana quickly shook her head. “No, that’s too much! I can’t take it!”

Frank smiled. “That’s not up to you. It’s for the children! Don’t worry-there will be other aids too. I’ll send some people over to deliver or set up necessary facilities and provide 24/7 protection so that you won’t be harassed. Your only responsibility is to educate those children for a brighter future!”

Frank’s words were measured, and Yana could not refuse even if she wanted to.
