Baldy snorted. “What, you ask? I’m giving it to you straight—if you don’t come with me, it’s not just those two who will get it. Even those kids at your school will!”

“What?!” Yana exclaimed in shock.

“Even thieves have a code,” Frank growled coolly. “But you’re actually ready to hurt kids? Do you really think you’re protected?”

Baldy simply laughed. “That accent-not local, I take it? Don’t you know better than to mess with a king on his turf? See, I’m basically the king here, and anyone who messes with me will suffer the consequences!”

“Is that so?” Frank growled furiously.

On the other hand, Yana had no idea who Frank was. Worried that he and Meg would get hurt because of her, she pleaded with Baldy, “Please leave them out of this. This has nothing to do with them!”

Baldy growled coldly, “Now you’re begging? Too late! That brat really got on my nerves, and I’ll kill him no matter what it takes! Let’s see how he’ll run his mouth now!”
