As he finished, he beckoned at his two thugs to help him leave.
Sadie scoffed after him. “Get with the times already. Learn how to threaten a girl-you’re so uncultured that people would call you out for plagiarizing.” The geezer naturally did not dare to argue and left.
“Well done!”
All the bouncers were clapping for Sadie, seeing how cool she was.
Meg smiled in turn. “Now they are earnestly impressed by you, Ms. Godot. Only Mr. Frankton and you can do that!”
