Chapter 6334
The affluent areas of Miami closely resemble those in Beverly Hills and the Bay Area. Many of the wealthiest individuals here reside on artificial islands close to the coast, with some of these islands connected by bridges and roads for vehicles. To reach their homes, they typically take either a direct flight or a yacht.
The mansion of the Getty family is the priciest property on one of Miami’s prestigious islands. The real estate prices here are among the highest in the United States, surpassing those in Manhattan, Beverly Hills, and even Hawaii.
The Getty family, who have deep roots in real estate, is particularly conscious of their reputation. Their estate occupies nearly a third of an island, which collectively comprises several mansions. Located about a mile from the coastline, there is an additional mansion at the edge of the coast that serves as a transfer station for vehicles. Visitors must first drive to this transfer point before transferring to a direct flight or yacht to reach the island.
Once Charlie arrived at the coastline and familiarized himself with the layout, he devised a plan to quietly approach the island where the Getty family resided, intending to wait for anyone connected to the incident at the Warriors Den.
To reach the island, one could easily opt for a yacht or a direct flight. However, being practical, Charlie knew he could walk across the water in just a few minutes. Even if everything was fine with Maria, he was still concerned about how to ensure her safety once the dust settled.
From his experience with Tara, Charlie believed that while the Decker family was likely linked to the Mirren family, there was a good chance the monks would be wary of being detected by him. Yet, if Maria were involved, it would introduce more uncertainties.
According to Charlie’s plan, if he encountered any disruptions related to the Warriors Den tonight, he would quietly observe and follow the leads to uncover the location of the Military Governor’s Mansion first. It would be advantageous to also understand the entire structuring of personnel within the Mansion.
