Rachel was acutely aware that the Warriors Den would thoroughly monitor keywords across the Internet, and she understood even more clearly that if Charlie disclosed any information, her entire family would face destruction at the hands of the Warriors Den. She quickly realized that Charlie’s meeting with her and his revelation of her true identity, following Steve and Robert’s departure, indicated he still saw her as valuable. For Rachel, this was the only glimmer of hope amidst a sea of bad news. It shifted her and her family’s fate from being doomed to potentially surviving. Put simply, if one betrays the Warriors Den and manages to keep it under wraps, immediate death can be avoided; however, once one’s identity is uncovered, death is inevitable. Even if she were to somehow inform the Military Governor’s Mansion about her discovered identity now, pleading for assistance, the governor would demonstrate his sincerity, but the Governor’s Mansion would not risk their own safety. Instead, they would eliminate anyone aware of the truth along with any evidence that could expose identities. Thus, at that moment, Rachel Getty resolved that irrespective of Charlie’s intentions, as long as her identity remained hidden, she would comply with his requests.
Seeing her understanding, Charlie smiled slightly and remarked, “It’s a relief to communicate with someone perceptive. Miss Getty, I need you to provide all the information regarding the Warriors Den, including details about your family and any members of the Warriors Den that you have access to. I want everything recorded meticulously. As long as you cooperate fully, I will not disclose your identity.”
Without hesitation, Rachel nodded and replied, “Absolutely, Mr. Chen. I’ll share everything you want to know!”
Charlie inquired, “How many members does your family currently have similar to yours?”
Rachel responded, “There are a total of twenty-six individuals involved. However, not all are from the Getty family; some are children of my aunts and uncles.”
Charlie further asked, “Where are they currently located, or which families have we infiltrated?”
Rachel contemplated briefly before explaining, “The younger members are mostly still pursuing their studies. With the exception of a few universities, there are only six true families involved at this point, primarily from some second-tier families in the United States. No prominent families currently have any members with significant contributions.”
