She fixed her gaze on James and the others. “With the dark world’s collapse, this won’t stay hidden. Waitara Path’s two living forms will know, and so will his lieutenants — Lord Goyo and his faction.

“We used a war in the myriad realms to gather and transfer seventy percent of the living beings, but they used my husband’s banner to deceive thirty percent of the innocent. Only by completely killing Lord Goyo and his followers, and allowing those souls to be reborn, can we truly save them.”

James and Yaretzi exchanged looks and nodded in agreement.

“What’s the second step?” Xezal asked, eyes on Thea.

“The second step is to inspect and clear Forladtt Land and the Great Historial Land.” Thea spoke deliberately. “We don’t know the exact location of Waitara Path’s reincarnated form, but given his past life as Wynton, we can make educated guesses.”

She turned to James. “Waitara Path’s primary foes now are the two of us, so the two incarnations he hides are likely creatures we know well.”
