“How are my little cuties?” Solus whispered, gently brushing the babies’ cheeks and running a full check with Invigoration. “You’re even more perfect and beautiful than when I left. I missed you so much.”

“That was less than twelve hours ago.” Lith frowned.

“Coming from the guy who can’t stay away from Ral for more than five minutes without losing it.” Solus snorted.

“Alright, alright.” Lith raised his hands in surrender. “I get it. Guilty as charged. How did the mission go?”

“We rescued the fungus folk, ran into a group of unknown Divine Beasts, and somehow made it out of a fight to the death alive.” She let out a tired breath. “Also, Staff here fought like a champ.”
