Then he glanced at his wife.
“At least I’m better at chess than you are at square dancing. You dance so loudly that the neighbors keep complaining.”
Grandma Brown immediately defended herself.
“We dance from seven-thirty until nine o’clock, then we stop. Even if it’s a little noisy, it’s not late enough to disturb anyone’s sleep. I think those people are just jealous that us older ladies have our own entertainment and exercise.”
She had indeed become a regular at the neighborhood square dancing group.
