Alan’s mouth twitched. Is this supposed to be good news?

“So, what do we do now?” Alan then asked.

He had come here hoping to meet their future daughter-in-law, only for it to turn into a complete misunderstanding.

Ines thought for a moment. “Since Eric likes married women, why don’t we look for divorced ones for him?”

Alan’s expression became even more incredulous. “You must be kidding.”

Ines was quite open-minded. “In this day and age, being divorced isn’t a big deal. Nothing else matters as long as Eric gets married quickly and lets us have a grandchild sooner.”

Alan remained noncommittal, keeping silent.
