Ch. 501..510

To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 501-You Shouldn't Have Told Me Jenny walked out of Walter Inc and sat in Alec's car. He was waiting for her downstairs. He had wanted to rush in to get her several times, but in the end, he had not. It wasn't because he was afraid of Walter Inc. It was because he was afraid of affecting Jenny's plans.

Thankfully, she was alright.

"How was the discussion?" Alec started the car, asking seemingly casually.

Jenny nodded, smiling. "It was alright. My plan worked."

Jenny succeeded at both obtaining the companies and moving into the Walters' home. Her trip was not wasted. Then, she looked at Alec in embarrassment. "I'm going to move into their house tonight. What are your plans after this? Are you going to stay in Bardoff City?"

She knew that Alec had rushed over for her and was feeling guilty. But there were some things that she just had to do, so she was put in a tough situation.

Alec wasn't as bothered. "I was planning on staying in Bardoff City for a while,"

he said. "Faust Group's company is doing well here. I'm preparing to expand it while things are fresh."

"True. This is the capital city, after all. Developments would be better here."

Even Jenny was preparing to place her company's headquarters here.

"So you needn't worry. It doesn't matter where you are. I'll be able to protect you anywhere." He looked at Jenny, the passion in his eyes unconcealed.

It didn't matter that Faust Group was just a small company in Bardoff City. Alec was confident that in a few years, he would make Faust Group a prominent existence that was able to protect Jenny.

Jenny was moved. She knew that Alec was doing all this for her. "I believe you."

Afterward, they didn't talk of this. Jenny gave him the address, and he drove her there. When they arrived, he realized that it was an office complex. He looked at Jenny curiously. "Are you bringing me here to show me where your company will be?"

It wasn't a great place, far from the city and all, but it had potential. Plus, the costs here would be cheaper. It wasn't too bad.

"That's part of the reason." Jenny got down from the car. He followed her from behind.

They went into the office complex. Jenny went into the elevator and pressed a button. Alec said nothing as he followed her. Soon after, the elevator stopped, and they walked out.

Jenny looked at the half-renovated area and said, "This is the Walkers' office complex."

Alec was stunned. He took a closer look and realized that the Walkers' name was on the signboards. Quickly, he understood what Jenny meant." Are you planning to let the Walkers move to Bardoff City?"

"Yes. They'll always be controlled in Parrington.' Here, Paul's power was diminished. And now that she was returning to the Walter family, it meant that she would be able to protect Stephanie and her family.

Alec looked at Jenny, his heart in a jumble. Then, he sighed in exasperation.

"You shouldn't have told me."

He and Paul were friends. Wasn't Jenny afraid that he would tell Paul? If Paul got the heads up, Stephanie would not even be able to leave, much less move to Bardoff City.

"I believe you." Jenny had done it on purpose. She had deliberately told Alec to see if he would tell Paul about it. If they were to take Stephanie away, they would need Alec's help. But if he interfered and ended up helping Paul, she might not be able to take Stephanie away, and things would get much worse.

To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 502-Unacceptable Alec knew what she was thinking, and it was precisely because of it that he was feeling torn. "You should know that Paul is my friend.” And they were close friends.

Jenny nodded and looked at him, smiling. "So, are you planning to tell him?"

Their gazes met. Jenny was smiling, but Alec was not.

Time passed. They didn't know how long. Alec smiled exasperatedly. "No."

The corners of Jenny's lips lifted. 'I knew you weren't the irrational type. This clearly shows that the one in the wrong is Paul."

"WelL.you may be misunderstanding him, too. Stephanie is not living as horribly in his house as you think she is." At least to the extent of his understanding, Stephanie didn't care to be polite to Paul. They went about doing their own things, neither of them really suffering.

Jenny didn't care about it. ’If he honestly liked her, he should have pursued her and given her a chance to choose, not force her to be by his side with his power."

Stephanie had no choice right now. She had to agree with Paul, or else her family would be destroyed. That was what Jenny found unacceptable.

"That makes sense." Alec understood. No one liked being controlled." When are you planning on letting them move?" he asked. He was wondering if he had to give Paul a heads up, maybe send him off on errands? He didn’t want to be clamped in the middle of Paul and Jenny.

Jenny thought about it and looked at the renovations. "It should be soon. Once I settle my business here in Bardoff City, I'll bring them over from Parrington."

"Okay," Alec said nothing much. Jenny had already made her decision.

There would be no point in wasting his breath.

They left the office complex. Alec brought Jenny to lunch at a restaurant in the sky. Jenny looked down at the streets, a feeling of awe washing over her. The city was glamorous. She didn't know if she'd maintain a steady foothold here.

Alec was thinking differently, though their thoughts were similar. He wondered how best to grow stronger quickly so that Jenny would have someone backing her up against the Walters.

Both engrossed in their thoughts, it was not a very cheery meal.

On the other side of the city, news spread that Graham had signed off two of his companies to Jenny.

The shareholders were mutinous, but they dared not voice out their opinions.

After all, Walter Inc was where it was today because of Graham. Besides, those two companies were tiny, not worthy enough of an argument.

Rowena thought differently.

Graham didn't cover up his actions of giving Jenny the two companies. With such a sudden appearance of someone with the same name, people would start speculating. They were bombarded with phone calls asking for clarification on Jenny and Graham's relationship.

Even Jolene received such calls. She was dazed.

Could Jenny really have ties with her father?

She was afraid. She hated Jenny so much. How could she share a bond with her father?

There was no way! She couldn't accept it.

When Rowena found Graham, he was just finished with a meeting. He wasn't surprised to see her. "Why are you here?"

"Don't you know? What do you mean by this? Are you really planning on letting Jenny come back?" She suppressed her anger, trying hard not to explode. 1 Graham looked up at her, not answering. Instead, he asked, "I haven't even had the chance to ask you about what you mean by sending someone out to kill her even though you knew she's my daughter! Do you think I've grown afraid of you, Rowena?"

To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 503-He'd Even Scheme Against His Own Daughter Rowena didn't think she'd be able to keep Jenny's assault a secret from Graham, but she wasn't afraid. So what if he knew? He couldn't kill her.

Besides, nothing had happened to Jenny. And even if she was hurt, Graham would not dare touch Rowena.

She didn't say any of this out loud. She was not as stupid as that.

"I don't know what you're saying," she said, denying it.

"Ash has confessed she was carrying out your orders. Are you still going to deny it?" Graham looked at her coldly. He knew long ago that Rowena Glass was not a good person, but he didn't think she would be cruel to that extent.

Rowena was stunned, but she kept her expression neutral. "Are you going to believe everything she says? Who knows if she's been bribed to say that? H Graham knew that Rowena wouldn't admit it. It didn't matter; he didn't care. ’I will make it publicly known that Jenny is my daughter. She'll move into Walter Castle today. From now on, she is a respected daughter of the Walter family. If you dare attack her again, I will make the Glasses pay!"

He had the power to carry out his threats, which was why he dared to make them.

"Fuck you, Graham Walter!" Rowena was incensed. "What right does Jenny have to be part of the Walters? She's just the daughter of that bitch!"

A slap sounded in the air. Rowena nearly lost her footing because of the slap, and she stared at Graham in disbelief. Despite Graham's dislike for her all these years, he had never laid his hands on her.

But now…

Jenny had just arrived, and he was hitting her. What else would happen in the future?

She didn't dare imagine what would happen. She only thought of her daughter, Jolene. She couldn't let Graham give everything to Jenny.

Graham didn't regret his slap. He looked at her coldly. "All these years, you never learned to respect people."

"Don't get too cocky, Graham. Everyone knows what you're planning." Rowena straightened her back and looked at him intently.

Graham said nothing. She continued, "You've given her two insignificant companies today and permitted her to move to Walter Castle. But what about tomorrow? Are you going to give her the entire family?"

"She's my daughter. Can't I give her my company?" Graham was indeed planning for this. Only Jenny was deserving of his empire.

As for Jolene, Graham didn't think that she was undeserving. Instead, he felt that she was incapable. If he were to entrust the Walters to her, they would file for bankruptcy within two years.

Although he hated the Walters, he had sacrificed many of his years building it.

He didn't want something like that to happen.

Unfortunately, Rowena knew nothing of it. The moment she heard Graham's words, she grew agitated. "Fine. Jenny is your daughter, but isn't Jolene your daughter, too? How could you pick a favorite?" Rowena stared at him, her eyes red. She wished she could claw Jenny apart.

Graham was calm in the face of her anger. "You know of Jolene's capabilities.

There is no point in entrusting the Walters to her."

"You didn't let her work in the company all these years, and you never got anyone to mentor her. You labeled her a good-for-nothing rich kid, but now you're complaining about her capabilities. You planned all this, didn't you, Graham?" Rowena was thinking about all that had happened. It was no wonder that no matter how bratty Jolene got, Graham would merely say a few words and spend no effort mending her ways.

Rowena thought that Graham had long anticipated for Jolene to become useless so that he could make Jenny his heir. The more Rowena thought about it, the more she felt that Graham was evil.

He'd even scheme against his own daughter. Was he even human at this point?

To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 504-You've Changed a Lot Graham couldn't be bothered to answer Rowena's accusatory questions."

Would Jolene have turned out like this if not for a mother like you? Why don't you reflect on your own faults and stop blaming me? You haven't changed one bit all these years, Rowena.” She would never think that there was anything wrong with herself. Anything that happened would always be someone else's fault. She would never be to blame.

"Yes. I have not changed one bit. Didn't you know that?" Rowena smiled coldly.

But you've changed a lot, Graham."

They glared at each other, neither backing down. It was only when the assistant came knocking that Graham said, "Jenny is coming to dinner tonight. Get the cook to prepare a few more dishes."

"Graham Walter!" Rowena glared at him. Was he actually telling her to be a host to Jenny now?

"Don't forget your place, Rowena. Since you've married into the Walters, you're one of us now. You will do as I say, got it?" Graham looked at her coldly, his eyes frosty. He was no longer the pleasant Graham from before. Right now, he was the head of the Walters. He was a presence feared by the world.

Rowena turned pale. She wished to argue, but she found no reason to retort.

Graham continued, "Don't think you have the Glasses backing you up. Even if they protect you, Rowena, they won't go against me. It seems you haven't learned this lesson even after all these years."

Perhaps the Glasses wouldn't mind helping Rowena out here and there, but they weren't helping her because she was part of the Glasses. They helped because she was the matriarch of the Walter family. They had to help because of that.

How pitiful of Rowena to think that they had her back.

Rowena didn't argue even after a long time. Graham waved her off. "Go away and do the things you're supposed to do. You will not worry about anything else."

Rowena turned and left, but she was not convinced. She thought that all of this was Jenny's fault. Things would not have become like this if she hadn't appeared out of the blue.

The truth was, Rowena didn't really want Jenny to die. If she was honestly only here to be one of the Walters' daughters, Rowena would not have so much as bothered.

But now? Now Graham was prepared to hand the Walters over to her. How could Rowena accept this? She couldn't just watch her daughter, Jolene, suffer like this.

In the office, Graham didn't know of Rowena's thoughts. However, in order to understand her, he said to the assistant, "Get someone to keep an eye on her.

Do not give her the chance to do anything to Jenny."

"Yes, sir." The assistant added, "Quite a few people know that you have given Jenny two of your companies, and they are calling to ask about your relationship. How should we respond?"

Graham was already prepared for this question. "Make our relationship public.

Say that she is my long-lost daughter."

The assistant was stunned but said nothing. He left soon after.

Graham felt upset that he could not make Jenny's mother's identity known, but he had no choice. They hadn't married. If they knew that Jenny was not his and Rowena's elder daughter, Jenny would be reduced to an illegitimate child.

People would point and stare.

Jenny had already suffered so much. Graham didn't want her to suffer anymore.

To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 505-No One Can Take This Away From You It was night and Alec drove Jenny to Walter Castle.

"Be careful. Call me if anything happens. I'll be right here." With his identity, it would not be appropriate for him to follow her inside. The only thing he could do was stay at the entrance.

Jenny, who was opening the door, heard this and turned. "There's no need. He's my biological father. My life should be spared."

Jenny couldn't bear to make such a busy person as Alec stay there and wait for her.

"That's true." Alec nodded in agreement, but he did not mean to leave.

Jenny had no choice but to say, "You can go to work. Don't waste your time here. You can come back after I call you."

"Fine." Finally, Alec agreed.

Jenny walked toward the villa. Graham had probably told the maids of her arrival beforehand, which was why someone brought her in the moment she arrived.

Alec sat in his car, watching Jenny’s silhouette disappear. Then, he raised his head and looked at the villa. The Walters were indeed part of the Ten Elites. To be able to have such a large plot of land in Bardoff City was not just something achievable with money.

"They're powerful, alright," Alec murmured.

He drove the car away, not lingering any longer. He knew that there was no use waiting there, and he had a lot of things to handle. He had already heard from Jenny about what had happened years back. He didn't want to be the next Graham, which was why he had to make himself stronger. That way, no one could stop them from being together.

In the villa, the maid brought Jenny to the dining room. "Miss Walter, you have been instructed to wait here."

"Alright. Thank you." Jenny nodded and thanked the maid. She went over to the sofa and sat, not feeling any inhibitions at all.

Rowena and Jolene appeared at the stairs. They saw Jenny at once, and their expressions shifted.

Rowena had spent the entire afternoon making Jolene accept the fact that Jenny was part of the Walters. This was the only reason Jolene was not breaking down right now.

Jolene was the precious princess of the family. She had to act like one. If not for the forewarning, she would have lost her composure.

"Look at her, Mom. She's not thinking of herself as an outsider at all." Jolene gnashed her teeth when she looked at Jenny.

Rowena sighed. ' Who said otherwise? This bitch might be here in Bardoff City to snatch the Walters away from us."

"Mom, you have to help me! I can't accept someone like that as my sister!"

Sister? Was Jenny even worthy of that?

If not for Rowena holding her back, Jolene would have wanted to rush down and kick Jenny out.

Rowena smiled comfortingly. "Don’t worry. I will take care of this. We have only one daughter. The Walters will be yours. No one can take that away from you."

No one.

Rowena would send them to Hell if they dared.

"Let's go. We should meet Jenny." Rowena smiled coldly and brought Jolene downstairs.

Jenny was flipping through a magazine on the sofa. She heard footsteps and looked over instinctively.

Rowena and Jolene stood at the stairs. Rowena was an old fox. Despite her seething hatred for Jenny, she kept a smile on her face, albeit a forced one. On the contrary, Jolene did not mask her contempt for Jenny. She glared at Jenny ferociously.

Jenny smiled at them sincerely, stunning them both.

To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 506-Screw You At once, they walked toward Jenny. Jolene glared at her. “Are you Jenny? As expected, you’re nothing to look at.” “Really? You can tell, just like that? Well, with that uncultured attitude of yours, I wonder if you’re anything worth looking at.” Jenny said those rude words with a smile. It was especially infuriating.

“You!” Jolene was infuriated. What a bitch! She dared to say those things in her house!

Jolene motioned forward to hit Jenny, who didn’t move. Rowena wanted to stop her, but she couldn’t.

Jenny wanted to duck. She could, but she didn’t. She merely angled her body so that Jolene would not smack her face. At last, Jolene’s hand landed on Jenny’s shoulder, and because of her strength, Jenny fell to the ground.

“Jolene!” Rowena was furious. She thought Jolene was going overboard.

Jolene was about to say that Jenny deserved it, but a roar sounded behind her.

“What are you doing? Did I raise you to do this, Jolene?” Graham had appeared in the living room. Jolene was the picture of a furious woman, and Rowena stood beside her. Only Jenny was on the ground, a pitiful look on her face.

“Dad! She did it first…” With a slap, Graham shut her up. He was extremely disappointed. He hadn’t expected his two daughters to be at odds, let alone end up like this. He’d never bothered to raise Jolene properly, but now he felt he could no longer go easy on her. Otherwise, she would commit a heinous crime one day.

Jolene was dazed. Rowena returned to her senses and stared at her slapped daughter, eyes turning red. “You’ve gone mad, Graham! You slapped Jolene!” “I slapped her because she didn’t know how to respect her sister. This is a failure on your part.” Graham didn’t regret his actions at all. He thought that Jolene lacked discipline.

Jolene came back to her senses, too. “Are you slapping me because of this bitch, dad? How could you… “Enough!” Graham roared. “She’s your sister!” “I don’t have a sister. My mother only gave birth to me.” Jolene didn’t care how unpleasant Graham looked. She looked extremely pitiful and couldn’t bear it.

Graham thought he’d get an aneurysm because of her insolence sooner or later.

“You…you…” “It seems that I am not welcome here, Mr. Walter. I’d better get going if so.” Jenny had stood up, and she looked at Graham sadly. Anyone would feel their heart ache looking at her.

With Jenny looking like that, a stark contrast to Jolene, Graham felt upset. “Who said that? This is your house from now on. As part of the Walter family, you can stand up against anyone.” “Well, if I am to be bullied again in the future, can I get a bodyguard to help me hit her?” Jenny looked at Graham innocently.

The corners of Graham’s lips twitched. He couldn’t take back his words. “Of course.” Jenny smiled. She was waiting for these words. “You can’t bully me in the future, little sister. Or else, I’m not going to hold myself back.” She smiled at Jolene. It was said in good humor, but Jolene could see the seriousness in her eyes.

Jolene was furious again. “Screw you, bitch!” She rushed toward Jenny. But this time, Rowena caught her.

“Calm down, Jolene.” Jolene dared to attack right in front of Graham now.

Rowena didn’t know how else to assuage her daughter.

To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 507-Don’t Blame Me for Being Ruthless Jolene ended up being unable to hit Jenny. She was being held back by her mother and couldn’t move at all.

Graham didn’t explode because of this, but he warned, “If you dare to lay hands on your sister again, don’t blame me for being ruthless.” Jenny had just come back. He dreadfully wanted to give her the best of everything he could. Hel naturally would not condone any bullying toward her.

Jolene was so angry that she trembled all over. She looked at her father as if she were looking at a stranger. “Have you ever thought of me as your daughter, Dad?” Graham had never been nice to her all these years. But the moment Jenny returned, she was enjoying something that Jolene never had. How could she accept that?

“I wonder if you’re even my daughter.” On one side was obedient Jenny, and on the other was the proud, arrogant Jolene. Graham wished he didn’t have a daughter like her.

Rowena flared up at once. “What do you mean by that, Graham? Don’t you dare go overboard!” “What are you getting so agitated for? I’m just saying.” He truly was just making a statement. Why was Rowena’s reaction so over the top?

“Of course I’d be agitated. You’re humiliating me,” Rowena said.

Graham snorted and ignored her. He looked at the maids. “Get the food out.” He walked over to Jenny, kindness spreading on his face. “You’re probably hungry.

Let’s eat.” “Alright.” Jenny nodded and followed behind him.

They walked toward the dining table. Rowena and Jolene stood rooted on their spots, staring at the two of them with raging anger in their blood.

“Why did you stop me, Mom? Are you protecting that bitch, too?” Jolene clenched her fists, wishing she could hit Jenny.

Rowena sighed exasperatedly. “Jolene, your father will definitely protect her right now. The only one who will suffer is you.” “Are you going to let her trample all over me?” Jolene couldn’t accept it.

“Don’t worry. I’ll find a way. This is Bardoff City, and Jenny is an outsider. Even with your father protecting her, he can’t always be by her side. There will be an opening.” Rowena smiled, already having a plan in mind.

Jolene felt better at once. “That’s true. I don’t believe that we can’t get to her.” As long as they could get rid of Jenny, Jolene would have Graham as her father all to herself. No one would shatch him away from her.

They walked toward the dining table. Jolene sat in front of Jenny and looked at her coldly, but she didn’t start a fight.

Graham and Jenny chatted amicably over dinner. “There’s to be a party tomorrow. I shall bring you there to introduce you to everyone,” Graham said. Since he had decided to make their family business public, he would have to introduce her to everyone.

Then, they would know that he had her back.

Jenny didn’t refuse. She had just come to Bardoff City and barely knew anyone.

If she wanted to stay there, she would have to know people.

“Alright.” She nodded.

Rowena frowned. She said at once, “Jolene has nothing going on tomorrow.

Why don’t you let her bring Jenny over? They’re sisters. They should bond together.” Graham’s gaze fell on Jolene, doubting if she would comply.

“I was wrong, dad. I couldn’t accept it so suddenly,” Jolene apologized, knowing her mother’s intentions. “Jenny just came to Bardoff City. She probably doesn’t know anyone. I’ll take her around so she won’t feel too lonely at the party,” Jolene said with a smile, losing her ferocity from before.

To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 508-If You Provoke Me on Purpose Jenny was surprised. Jolene was a little smarter than she thought. She expected Jolene to insist on antagonizing her until the end. If that was so, she wouldn’t be much of a threat. But if Jolene knew how to control herself, she was harder to deal with.

“What a nuisance,” Jenny thought.

If it weren’t for Jolene talking bad about her, Jenny would have ignored her. She might not even have considered moving in. But Jolene wanted to smear her name, and Rowena had even arranged for someone to assassinate her. How could Jenny let this go?

She couldn’t.

Graham looked at the quiet Jenny and was worried that she would refuse. “You can go. You don’t have to take Jenny around. I’ll be taking her.” “You’re always so busy at these events, dad. You won’t have the time-” “No one is as important as Jenny,” Graham said, cutting her off.

Jolene’s jealousy was on overdrive. She couldn’t understand why Graham’s attitude was so different toward his daughters.

Jenny looked at Graham and said, “It’s okay. You can go about your matters. My sister can take me around.” At the word sister, goosebumps covered Jolene’s skin. She felt a chill going up her spine.

“Alright. You don’t have to be afraid of her. Just tell me if she dares to bully you,” Graham told her. He obviously suspected Jolene’s intentions.

Jolene smiled dryly and said, “I wouldn’t bully her, dad. What happened just now was a misunderstanding.” Graham said nothing. He handed Jenny a bowl of mashed potatoes, ignoring Jolene.

Only Graham and Jenny found dinner delicious. Rowena and Jolene were having the worst night of their lives.

After dinner, because Jenny wanted to stay with the Walters, Graham got one of the maids to clear out a room for her. Although it was long prepared, he personally took her to her room.

“I don’t know what suits your tastes, so I only roughly arranged it. If you don’t like it, you can get someone to change it for you,” Graham said.

Jenny looked at the clean and simple renovations. She didn’t hate it. She wasn’t going to stay there often, anyway. “It’s great. Thanks for the trouble.” “I’m your father, Jenny. You don’t need to be so polite.” Graham was feeling upset. He saw that Jenny hadn’t really accepted him as a father yet.

Jenny didn’t deny it. “We haven’t met for so many years. You have to give me some time.” “Alright. There’s no rush.” As long as Jenny didn’t oppose him directly, Graham could wait. What he feared was that Jenny wouldn’t so much as give him a chance.

Jenny cleared her things and went downstairs for a walk.

The villa was huge. They had flowers and fountains. Jenny thought it would be nice to stroll around after meals.

“You’re probably really happy, aren’t you?” Jolene’s voice sounded from behind.

She stood in the shadows, hatred seeping through her.

Jenny turned to look at her and smiled. “I’m alright. Not much to be happy about.” Jenny didn’t find joy in letting Jolene get frustrated for a bit.

“I don’t know where you got the balls to return to the Walters from. Your mom and my dad never married. You’re just a kid born out of wedlock. Aren’t you ashamed?” Jolene was trying to look for any trace of embarrassment or humiliation on Jenny’s face, but there was nothing. Jenny only smiled, instilling a sense of disgust in Jolene.

Jenny looked at the flowers, saying slowly, “I don’t know what happened, and I don’t care. I really didn’t care about coming here, until Rowena sent someone out to Parrington to assassinate me wouldn’t have come here if she hadn’t done that. Things are peaceful as long as you don’t provoke me on purpose. And since you have, I won’t let you get your way.”

To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 509-How Much Money Do You Want?

Jenny’s words had come straight from her heart, but Jolene didn’t believe a word. She had already pegged Jenny as her rival, here to steal everything away from her.

She scoffed and said, “What a lovely excuse. Why would you come here if you weren’t interested in the Walters?” “Because of you and your mother.” Jenny smirked. If it weren’t for them, she might not have come back.

Jolene didn’t want to continue with the topic. She thought there was no point in it. “Tell me, what do you want?” Jenny frowned and laughed. “What can I do? Why can’t I understand what you’re saying?” “Stop acting dumb. How much money do you want to leave the Walters?” Jolene asked. In her eyes, Jenny was doing this for the money.

Jenny was annoyed seeing Jolene act so high and mighty. Couldn’t she understand plain English? Hadn’t Jenny made it clear enough?

“Money? How much money can you give me?” Jenny asked her as if she were looking at a fool.

Jolene thought for a moment and said, “One million dollars. You will leave the Walters and never come back.” Although she didn’t have a million dollars to spare, her mother probably wouldn’t have a problem giving it to her. She wouldn’t have given Jenny this much if she had known how stubborn she was.

“One million?” Jenny laughed. She was a little surprised. “The Walters are indeed rich. A million is spare change to them.” It wasn’t that the Walters couldn’t give her a million dollars; Jenny was surprised that Jolene could start from a million dollars. That meant a million dollars wasn’t really that much in her eyes.

“Stop clowning around. Are you taking it or not?” Jolene asked, irritated.

However, she didn’t receive the answer she wanted. “Why should I take it? The Walters are so rich. As long as I stay, I’d be able to easily get more than a million dollars.” “You!” Jolene was angered once more. That was what she was afraid of. She controlled herself as best as she could. She remembered what Rowena had said. Jolene was far more impatient than Jenny. She had to change, or else she would be the only one suffering. “Don’t think that you have Dad to protect you and hand the Walters over to you. That’s impossible, I’m telling you. Although they say you’re their lost daughter, no one is a fool.

They know who you are. They just haven’t exposed you yet. But me? My mom is also one of the Ten Elites. My mom is worth millions more than yours. What are you going to use to compete with me?” Jenny’s face darkened. Not because Jolene was looking down on her but because she was belittling her mother. Although Jenny had never seen her mother, she hated when someone spoke ill of her.

Jenny said nothing for a long time. When Jolene thought she was about to agree, Jenny marched toward her.

“What are you…” before Jolene could finish her words, Jenny lifted her in the air.

Jolene was like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered in her arms. She had no way to defend herself.

Jenny grabbed her collar and dragged her to the swimming pool. “Watch your words. Don’t let me hear you speaking ill of my mother again. Got it?” “Jenny. Ah!” Jolene screamed. She was plunged into the water, and she struggled in it. She swallowed many mouthfuls before steadying herself, stopping herself from drowning. “I’m going to kill you, Jenny!” she roared. But Jenny was already gone.

To Be Yours Again by Taylor Chapter 510-I’ve got It Covered The next day, Jenny left Walter Castle early in the morning. When Graham went to the dining room, he didn’t see Jenny.

“Where’s Jenny?” he asked the butler.

“Miss Jenny left early in the morning. She said that there are things she must tend to and that you needn’t worry,” the butler said.

After Graham announced Jenny’s identity to the public, she was now the eldest daughter. As for Jolene, she was only the second eldest.

Graham nodded. He didn’t press any more questions. He knew that Jenny had her own things to Rowena, however, was unsatisfied. She scoffed and said, “What can she be so busy with so early in the morning? It can’t be a scandal, can it? She needs to know her place as a daughter of the Walter family.” She was suggesting that Jenny was from a small town and that her actions were. questionable.

Graham looked at her and said coldly, “Do you think Jenny is as useless as that daughter of yours? Without the Walters backing her up, she built an empire of her own. She is a famous doctor in Parrington, and she had performed surgery on Mr. Cruz. She has her own company, too.” Rowena was provoked by those words. “Who knows if that’s true? And she was relying on men to get that company. You know she’s been divorced before. That ex-husband of hers is powerful in Parrington. She could have been relying on him.” Rowena had investigated every detail about Jenny and had spread the information out. Jenny was now the laughingstock of the elites of Bardoff City.

She grew up in a village and was even divorced. Even if she had returned to the Walters and became their eldest daughter, she would be looked down upon.

With a slam, Graham banged his utensils on the table. He glared at Rowena. “It seems that my warning to you has fallen on deaf ears.” Rowena was afraid. After Graham mentioned the Glasses’ attitude to her, she went to try it out for herself. The result had disappointed her.

She’d always thought that the Glasses had her back. She was not expecting them to be so nonchalant about her life all so that they would win Graham’s favor.

As long as Graham said the word, the Glasses would murder her, no questions asked.

That was why she didn’t want to anger Graham now. She had nothing to gain from it.

“I was just saying.” She lowered her head, not wanting to argue with him. She couldn’t let Graham know that she wanted to antagonize Jenny. She couldn’t let her evil intentions show.

“You better be. If I know what you’re up to, there will no longer be a spot for you in the Walters.” He turned and left the dining room. He had lost his appetite.

Only Rowena and Jolene were left in the dining room.

After being punished by Jenny last night, Jolene was angry but also afraid. She thought that Jenny was like a demon. Smiling on the outside but vicious when she attacked. However, she didn’t want to let it go just like that. She had to do something, especially during the party tonight. She had to humiliate Jenny so that everyone would know that Jolene was the true daughter of the Walters.

Jenny would only be an embarrassment.

“You must be on your best behavior today, Jolene. You cannot lose to Jenny,” Rowena instructed. Tonight was Jenny’s debut in Bardoff City.

“Don’t worry, mom. I’ve got it covered.” Jolene was brimming with confidence.

She didn’t believe that she would lose to Jenny.
