To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 1201-I Don't Know What You're Talking About A loud slap echoed in the room. It threw Pete off his balance, and he fell to the ground.

Eric was truly ruthless in his attack, so much so that Pete, a grown man, was left dizzy and disoriented.

"Pete! Where is she?" Eric was losing his mind. He stared intensely at Pete as if he wouldn't hesitate to kill him if his answer was unsatisfactory.

Unfortunately, harsh threats didn't work well on Pete. Initially, he felt guilty about collaborating with Jenny against his father. However, the slap erased all feelings of guilt. He wondered if Eric truly regarded him as his son.

Given the way he was acting, Pete was probably nothing more than a dog he raised. Hence, his feelings of guilt completely disappeared. "I genuinely don't understand what you're talking about."

Despite the blood trickling from his mouth, he spoke sincerely, which made Eric suspicious.

"You don’t know that the woman upstairs isn't Lynette?" Eric asked.

Feigning shock, Pete answered, "How is that possible? She is obviously Lynette."

Eric didn't say anything, nor did he take any further action. Upon careful consideration, if he hadn't spent so much time with Lynette, perhaps he wouldn't have recognized her immediately.

“You really can't tell that she is a fake?" Eric looked at him skeptically, his gaze fixed on Pete as he tried to see through him.

Unfortunately, Pete had long mastered the skill of pretending in front of Eric. At this moment, Eric could glean nothing from looking at him.

Eric ordered someone to bring the woman down from upstairs.

Brandishing a gun, he aimed it at her, asking. "Tell me. Who are you?"

"I am Lynette," she repeated. She wasn't lying, as that was the only name she remembered.

She didn't remember how she ended up in the Glasses' hands, but she remembered that Jenny had rescued her. So when Jenny asked for her help, even though she had warned her it was dangerous, she agreed without hesitation.

Once she repaid Jenny's favor, she could finally be herself.

Enraged, Eric slapped the woman and shouted, "Where did Jenny take her?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," the woman replied.

Eric threw the woman aside and ordered his subordinates, "Take her away and interrogate her thoroughly, but don't kill her."

Since she had such an uncanny resemblance to Lynette, there might still be some use for her. The woman was taken away, and silence once again filled the living room. Pete put on a mask of surprise throughout so that Eric wouldn't notice anything amiss.

Eric glanced at him and said, "She and Lynette do look somewhat similar, but if you look closely, it's not difficult to distinguish between them."

He was suspicious of Pete.

"Father, you spend every day with Lynette. Of course, you can easily tell them apart. But I can't. So when I saw that woman, I never imagined she wasn't her."

Pete had rehearsed those lines countless times in his head, so Eric couldn't get any useful information from him.

Eric still found it a little strange. "What you're saying makes sense. Since that's the case, go and find out where Lynette is. I want to know where she is immediately." "Alright, I'll investigate it right away." Pete stood up and left the house immediately.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 1202-Isn't That Too Risky?

Eric watched his son's departing figure and, for some reason, felt that his son had become even more inscrutable since his return. However, he couldn't afford to dwell on such thoughts. Finding Lynette's whereabouts was the most important thing to him.

In fact, he already had a hunch that they wouldn't be in Bayside City after rescuing Lynette. It was most likely that Jenny and the others had returned to Bardoff City.

His guess was accurate. Pete quickly returned home after calling Jenny to confirm if he could tell Eric that Lynette was in Bardoff City.

Upon hearing that, Eric wasn't surprised. "Prepare the people. We will go to Bardoff City in two hours."

"Isn't that too risky, Father? Since Jenny dared to take her to Bardoff City, it means she is confident. I'm afraid that if we go there recklessly, we won't be able to take Lynette back,'' Pete said, expressing his concern.

Eric, however, was unfazed. "Lynette is my wife. Would there be a problem with me taking my wife home? Even in Bardoff City, do they have the right to stop me from bringing my wife home?"

"Alright, I'll make the arrangements," Pete said, not continuing to persuade him, acting as if he was worried about not being able to dissuade Eric.

The truth was he was thrilled. Everything was going just as Jenny had anticipated. Eric was going to Bardoff City for Lynette. It seemed that Jenny’s plan would likely be very successful. At the thought of succeeding the Dafoe family, Pete felt quite pleased.

In Bardoff City, Jenny had already learned everything from Pete. However, she was not anxious. Walter Castle was an impregnable territory. Even if ten Dafoe families were trying to break in, they wouldn't be able to take Lynette away.

Moreover, she had also contacted Leonard. If anything happened at Walter Castle, he would immediately bring people over. If that happened, they could seize the opportunity to bring Eric to the police station.

However, they wouldn't stop at just sending Eric to the police station; it would be useless. After all, the Dafoe family still had some power and influence in Clusia.

Jenny hadn’t contacted the families of the deceased just for show. With everything planned, she was only waiting for Eric to come to her.

Jenny entered the Faust Group building with a packed lunch in hand. With no one stopping her, she made her way to the president's exclusive elevator, heading toward the floor where Alec's office was located.

Subsequently, the employees of the corporation began to murmur amongst themselves. Although they had known about the relationship between the two, it was Jenny's first visit to Faust Group, so everyone was curious.

Jenny, however, had no clue that they were discussing her.

She knocked on the door. After hearing Alec's voice from inside, she pushed it open.

"Jenny? Why are you here?" Alec was surprised to see her at his office.

"I guessed that you've probably been too busy to have lunch on time, so I brought you lunch," Jenny said, handing him the packed lunch she had brought.

The lunch was made by the chefs of the Walter family. Although it couldn't compare to Alec's culinary skills, Jenny thought it was still decent.

Alec didn't mind whether she made it herself or not. The fact that she brought him lunch was enough to make him happy.

"Have you eaten?" he asked.

"I already had lunch at home with them," Jenny replied. She was referring to Graham and Lynette.

Graham had insisted that Jenny come home for meals every day, claiming it would strengthen their bond, but Jenny didn't see the need for that

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 1203-re's no need for that. If I can't handle Eric in Bardoff City, then my family wouldn't be one of the Ten Elites."

"Okay, alright. It's your call. Just remember, if you can’t resolve it, let me know.

I've got your back." He didn't make any decisions for Jenny without her consent because he knew she didn't like that.

Jenny nodded, but she didn't dwell on the topic. After having lunch with Alec in his office, she didn't linger any longer and left the company, knowing that he would get busy again.

When Vincent came in shortly after Jenny left, he could still see the smile lingering on Alec's face. "Mr. Faust," he said, "I received news that Eric is on a flight to Bardoff City."

Alec's expression turned serious. He didn't intend to leave the situation alone.

"Send some people to the Walters and let Jenny coordinate them as she pleases." Although he wouldn't interfere, Alec wouldn't stay completely uninvolved. He figured he could be helpful by providing her assistance.

Nodding, Vincent added, "Previously, you hired Julian and Isabelle. They have been here for a while now, and based on the feedback so far, they are doing well.' "Good, keep an eye on them. If they show potential, invest more in their development," Alec said. Jenny’s proposal had helped him find a solution.

While he didn't mind being a bit busier from time to time, he didn’t want to be busy forever. Handing the company over to people he trusted would be the path he would have to take in the future.

After listening to Vincent's report on recent company news and ensuring that there were no major issues, Alec finally felt relieved. Everything was returning to normal, and soon he wouldn't be so busy every day.

Alec and Jenny received news that Eric had arrived in Bardoff City at the same time. Hence, she didn't go to the hospital in the afternoon for work but returned to Walter Castle. Although she was confident in her plan, she knew she had to be cautious when facing a madman like Eric.

"Jenny,' Graham called as soon as she arrived. He pulled her aside and whispered, "You know that Eric has come to Bardoff City, right?"

"Yes, I've already received the news." She nodded, rather surprised by her father. "Wow, you're quite well-informed."

"I've managed the Walter family for decades. Do you think I'm not capable of doing this?" Graham rolled his eyes at her. Although he had delegated most of the Walter family's authority to Jenny, he still had some people under him.

Jenny paid his words no mind. With a smile, she said, "Of course you are. I know you've got it covered, but you don't have to worry about Eric. I've already made all the arrangements. If he dares to make a move, I guarantee he won't leave unscathed."

"Well, I know you have everything arranged. I was just asking," Graham replied, not too worried about it.

While the two of them were talking, Lynette was sitting silently on the second floor. Although she couldn't tell what they were discussing, she figured that it was probably related to Eric.

Given the timeline, Eric was probably back from his business trip, and he might already be on his way to Bardoff City.

Although she knew how powerful the Walters were and how capable Jenny was, she couldn't help feeling anxious as she hadn't divorced Eric yet

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 1204-This is Our Territory At night, the streets of Bardoff City were bustling with people. Tender, green leaves sprouted from trees in the early spring, showing signs of new life.

Eric, who hurriedly arrived in Bardoff City, had no mood to appreciate the surroundings. He went straight to his destination, contemplating how to take Lynette away from the Walters. Although he had brought a considerable number of people with him this time, he didn't have much confidence in confronting the Walters head-on. After all, Bardoff City was not his territory.

Little did he know that he had been under surveillance ever since he stepped out of the airport. Whatever he planned to do, he couldn't escape the watchful eyes of Jenny's people.

For the next two days, the Walters remained unusually quiet, waiting for Eric to make a move. However, he seemed to have disappeared without a trace, showing no sign of activity.

Jenny's people kept an eye on Eric. They saw him around and about every day, and if they didn't know better, they would have thought he was just touring Bardoff City.

Failing to figure out what he was up to, Jenny asked Alec, "Do you think he's afraid to make a move?"

"Don't underestimate him. Eric isn't acting like this because he's afraid.

He's just waiting for the perfect opportunity," Alec replied. He never underestimated anyone, especially not Eric. Although they hadn't had any interaction, based on the information he had gathered, Alec knew that Eric was something else.

Jenny actually understood this as well, but Eric's inaction made her anxious.

"Then what do you think he's doing?"

"Don't worry too much. Perhaps he's waiting for us to let our guard down," Alec said.

Jenny thought about it and figured that he might be right. Eric wasn't a fool; he probably guessed that they were all waiting for him to make a move at this time.

She leaned back on the sofa, feeling bored. "I haven't been to the hospital lately.

I've just been waiting here for him to make a move, but he's not doing anything.

It's so boring."

"If you ask me, you should keep yourself busy. As long as everything is arranged here, he won’t dare to make a move while you're around," Alec suggested. He believed that Eric might be hesitant to act because Jenny was always at Walter Castle.

That made sense to Jenny. "You're right. I'll go to the hospital tomorrow."

"Yeah, don't worry. This is our territory. Eric won't be able to take anyone away from here," Alec reassured her.

Jenny nodded in agreement and leaned on Alec’s shoulder, feeling weary. She wished everything would be resolved quickly so that she could live a peaceful life.

The next day, Jenny went to the hospital as usual. However, Eric still didn't make a move, leaving everyone anxious and unable to understand his intentions.

In the following days, Jenny continued her work at the hospital. If she didn't see Lynette at home every time she returned and if she didn't receive reminders that Eric was still in Bardoff City, she would have forgotten about his existence.

Eric didn't wait forever. While Jenny was performing surgery, something finally happened at Walter Castle.

Unfortunately, Jenny was in the middle of surgery and couldn't be reached.

Even if she had been notified, she wouldn’t be able to leave the patient and rush back. However, she had made all the arrangements, so she wasn't too worried.

When she came out of the operating room and received a call from Graham, she quickly changed out of her surgical gown and rushed home.

The Walters had suffered significant losses, and she finally understood what Eric had been up to

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 1205-Don't Speak to Your Mom Like That Fortunately, Eric didn't succeed in taking anyone away. Instead, he ended up getting shot and escaped in a sorry state.

When Jenny arrived home, Graham was comforting Lynette. Upon seeing Jenny, he said, "Don't worry, we're all fine."

“Yes, did Eric escape?" Jenny asked, looking at Leonard, who was present as an official on the case. His involvement meant that he could crack down on Eric's crimes.

Leonard glanced at her and said, "I have already made arrangements. Eric is now wanted nationwide."

Regardless of whether he had committed any previous crimes, breaking into a home with armed men was already a crime. That alone was enough to ensure that Eric would be behind bars for a long time. However, both Jenny and Leonard were not that naive to believe that that alone would suffice, as the Dafoes were not as weak as they had imagined.

"I have some information here that I believe you can make use of," Jenny said, pulling out a thick stack of documents from her bag. Those were all the information she had collected.

Leonard took them and paged through them casually. However, as he went through them, his face became increasingly grim.

"Damn it!" Leonard shouted in anger. Each piece of information represented a person who had died at the hands of Eric. The thick stack of papers represented countless lives.

"I asked for your help not only for personal reasons but also because this person is truly despicable. I feel that allowing him to roam freely is an insult to the deceased," Jenny said. Although she hoped Eric would stop bothering Lynette, she could set aside her personal feelings about a person.

If Eric hadn't committed any crimes, she would have thought of other ways to deal with him.

Leonard nodded, understanding Jenny's intention. "Don't worry. I know what to do."

Afterward, Leonard left Walter Castle. It was evident that he would likely personally take action in this matter.

Jenny then turned her attention to her father and Lynette. With a hint of concern, she asked, "Dad, are you both okay?"

Graham opened his mouth, but he didn't answer, his gaze shifting to Lynette by his side. He was fine, but Lynette seemed to have been greatly affected and had an unpleasant expression on her face.

"What are you afraid of, Madam Bell? Are you worried that we cant protect you, or do you not want to stay here?" Jenny asked rudely, her words laced with annoyance.

She didn't understand why she was afraid.

"Jenny!" Graham reprimanded her, "Don't speak to your mom like that."

Jenny pursed her lips. In her heart, Lynette was still not her mother. Well, Jenny had not accepted her as her mother yet.

"It's alright, Graham. I understand, Jenny. I'm being too weak."

She was having a hard time getting over the fact that so many people had died because of her. In addition, she felt that she had brought endless trouble to Jenny and Graham, which made her unsure if she should remain there.

Jenny sighed, trying her best to calm herself down.

"Dad, take her back to the room to rest. A good sleep would help. I will handle the rest."

"Alright, thank you for your hard work," Graham said. He also thought Lynette needed rest, so he didn't stay behind to discuss further with Jenny. He wasn't worried, though-he still had faith in Jenny's abilities.

Lynette stood up and looked at Jenny. "I'm sorry, Jenny, for disappointing you."

"It doesn't matter whether I'm disappointed or not. You are the person Dad likes, and as long as he's not disappointed, it's fine."

In Jenny's opinion, how she felt about the situation wasn't that important

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 1206-Faye's Identity Lynette was about to say something but ended up keeping it to herself, figuring that she should compose herself before having a chat with Jenny.

Graham took Lynette back to her room, and Jenny glanced at the mess in the living room. She rubbed her temples and instructed someone to clean up the place.

As she sat on the sofa, she suddenly realized that Alec hadn't yet arrived. That wasn’t normal. Usually, Alec would rush over immediately upon receiving the news. Worried, she took out her phone to call Alec.

The call was quickly answered, and Alec's voice came through. "Jenny, has everything been taken care of?"

"Yeah, everything has been dealt with, but Eric ran away," Jenny replied. She wondered why Alec didn't come when he knew about the incident.

As if he could read her thoughts, Alec said, "I have something to deal with in the Faust family, so I can't come for the time being. However, I've arranged for someone to go over.” "Okay, I understand. You take care of your business first." Jenny didn't ask further. After all, she trusted that Alec wouldn't lie to her. She figured that Alec knew nothing would happen to the Walters even if he didn't come. Hence, it wasn't unreasonable for him to be delayed if something had happened to the Fausts.

After hanging up, Jenny narrowed her eyes before instructing her people to start looking for Eric. She couldn't stop worrying until he was put behind bars.

Alec hung up the phone and looked at the woman in front of him.

"Should I call you Faye, or should I call you Miss Wardley?" Alec frowned, looking at Faye, who was clad in professional attire.

Everything was unpredictable. He had never imagined that Faye was Miss Wardley, the daughter of the Wardley family, one of the Ten Elites of Bardoff City.

Faye's expression turned slightly unpleasant as she tried to explain, "Alec, the Wardley family sent you an invitation before. That occasion was meant to formally introduce me and my brother's return to the family, but you didn't come."

Alec recalled the invitation. He had indeed made plans to go with Jenny, but that night, Jenny received a call about Graham's disappearance. She left Bardoff City early the next morning. Hence, he wasn't in the mood to attend the banquet. After finishing his work, he went to Bayside City to find Jenny. The Wardley family's event didn't even cross his mind.

"Alec, to be honest, I never expected that one day I would find my biological parents, and they would turn out to be the Wardleys, one of the Ten Elites of Bardoff City.’ The whole thing felt like a miracle to Faye. She used to feel inferior because of her humble family background, thinking that no matter how good her relationship with Alec was, she wasn't worthy of him.

However, things had changed. She was currently a young lady from a wealthy family, not much inferior to Jenny. That was why she mustered up the courage to appear before Alec.

Alas, despite all the time that had passed, she still hadn't figured out what was the difference between Jenny and her.

"I don't care about which family you're from, but I do have a question to ask you." Alec chuckled lightly and continued, "To be precise, I want to ask your brother, Anthony. I should call him Anthony Wardley, right? I'm curious, didn't he sacrifice himself to save me back then? So, who is this brother you speak of?

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 1207-Are You Trying to School Me?

Alec's tone was calm. Although there was not a single trace of anger in it, Faye found his words cold.

"The situation back then was very complicated, and I don't know the specifics.

Let my brother explain it to you," Faye said. Although Anthony had already told her, she didn't dare to tell Alec the truth.

Alec leaned back on the sofa and chuckled. "There's no need for that. He is the president of Wardley Inc. There's no need for him to explain anything to me."

"Alec, listen—’ "Stop. We aren't that close, Miss Wardley." Alec raised his hand, no longer interested in continuing the conversation with her. Rather than wasting time with Faye, he'd rather go back and spend more time with Jenny.

Faye's face turned pale. She bit her lip, her eyes welling up with tears. "Alec, please don't do this. I'm still Faye."

"Hm, Faye Lawrence and Faye Wardley are not the same."

Faye Lawrence was a pitiful orphan entrusted to him by Anthony, and Alec always treated her as a younger sister. Faye Wardley, on the other hand, was different. She was a daughter of the Wardley family, someone Alec had never known.

"Alec, to me, it's all the same. You will always be the person I'm closest to,"

Faye said.

Alec replied with a sneer.

"Alec, I don't want you to misunderstand me. If you're going to be like this, I would rather not have returned to the Wardley family," Faye said in a sad tone that would have made Alec feel sorry for her in the past. However, in the present, his eyes held no emotion as he watched her throw a pity party.

Without Alec's comfort, Faye felt even more upset. "Alec, I came here today on behalf of the Wardleys to discuss a deal with you."

Despite Alec's poor reaction, she wasn't in a rush to fix it immediately.

After all, she would have plenty of opportunities to interact with him. After all, she was no longer the poor Faye Lawrence she used to be.

When Alec heard that, he realized it was true. He had been discussing a deal with the Wardleys, so when he was informed that the representative of the Wardleys had arrived, he didn't think much of it and brought them in. Never had he expected it to be Faye.

"A deal? I don't think there is a need for a deal with the Wardleys anymore."

Since he learned about the current situation of the Wardley family, Alec no longer planned to cooperate with them.

Upon hearing these words, Faye's face turned even paler, and she couldn't believe her ears. "Alec, I know you have misunderstandings about me and my brother, but you're not the kind of person who lets personal feelings interfere with business. This cooperation is important for both our families, so you should let your personal feelings interfere with it.' "Are you trying to school me?' he asked with a sneer.

"No, Alec. I'm just hoping that the deal between our families won't be affected as it is important to both families," she answered, shaking her head sadly.

"I used to think the same way, but now, I have serious doubts about the Wardleys' internal situation, so I want to call it off. Is that not allowed?" Although this cooperation is important to the Fausts, they could live without it.

Faye lowered her head. "Alec, why are you like this? Regardless of what happened, we used to be close."

"Used to be close?' Alec couldn't help but laugh. "Miss Wardley, please be cautious with your words. I have never had any contact with the Wardley family.

So what is this closeness you speak of?"

"Alec-"

"You may leave now. There is no need for further discussion. It would be best if you remind Anthony after you return that I need an explanation for what happened back then."

Alec seriously suspected that he had been manipulated. Otherwise, how could someone who was supposed to be dead appear in Bardoff City

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 1208-Who Upset You?

Faye bit her lip. Although she was upset, she dared not say anything more at the moment, afraid of provoking Alec further. She had no choice but to leave for now.

She had no experience in doing business, and she usually didn't try to interfere in the affairs of the Wardley family. The reason she had come today representing the Wardleys to sign a contract with Alec was merely an excuse to see him. However, she never expected the encounter would turn out to be so embarrassing.

After Faye left, Alec called Vincent into the room. "Investigate the Wardleys. I want to know how Anthony died and came back to life with the Wardley family."

"Very well, Mr. Faust." The sudden revelation that Faye and her brother had become part of the Wardley family was unbelievable, not just for Alec; even Vincent couldn't believe it.

Vincent had personally witnessed Anthony saving Alec's life in the past. If everything turned out to be false, then all the care Alec had shown Faye over the years would become a joke. He knew how angry Alec was, but surprisingly, he couldn't detect any trace of anger from his expression.

Vincent thought that having a girlfriend must have its benefits. Jenny happened to be someone who could keep Alec under control, and as they spent more time together, Alec's personality changed little by little.

Everything had been cleaned at Walter Castle; not a trace of a gunfight was left to be seen.

Jenny lay on the sofa, not even bothering to rest. She scrolled through her phone, and a post from Faye suddenly caught her attention. Thinking about it, she hadn’t seen any updates from Faye since she left Parrington and went abroad.

Curious, Jenny clicked on the post, only to fall into silence when she saw its content.

"Hello, Alec. No matter my current identity, I will always be Faye to you," the post read. "P.S. I hope the cooperation between the Wardleys and the Fausts goes smoothly."

The post included a selfie taken by Faye, which had Alec's back in it.

Jenny stared at it and began to frown.

Faye had returned? From her post, it seemed that Faye's identity had changed.

So, the thing Alec was preoccupied with was meeting Faye.

Jenny wanted to laugh, but she couldn't bring herself to do so. She had thought that once she resolved the issues with Eric, peace would be restored, and she and Alec could live their life together. However, Faye suddenly appeared, and from her words, Jenny could sense she was up to no good.

Did she want to compete with her for Alec? Realizing that, Jenny suddenly felt annoyed.

Just then, Alec called her. Jenny hesitated for a moment but ultimately decided to answer. She wanted to see what lies Alec would tell her.

"Jenny, is everything finished at Walter Castle? I'll come to pick you up and take you home," Alec said, his tone calm as if nothing had happened.

Displeased, she answered coldly. "Take me home? This is my home. Why should I go back with you?"

Upon hearing her words, Alec was momentarily stunned.

"What's wrong, Jenny? Who upset you?" Alec asked softly as if coaxing a child.

Unfortunately, Jenny was not a child, and upon hearing his tone, there was no easing of her displeasure. It only intensified

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 1209-Owing Him Nothing Jenny remained silent and decided to hang up. She was in a bad mood and didn't want to listen to Alec's nonsense. On the other end of the phone, Alec was still driving and looked confused at her ending the call so suddenly. Although he didn't understand what exactly had happened, one thing was clear to him-Jenny was not happy. He stepped on the gas pedal as he headed toward Walter Castle.

A few minutes later, Alec appeared in the living room of Walter Castle, standing in front of Jenny.

"Jenny, can you at least tell me the reason you're angry? I'm really worried about you," Alec said, looking at Jenny beside him, unsure what to say.

Jenny narrowed her eyes and ignored him, which made Alec frustrated. He had no idea why Jenny was upset, so he sat silently, trying hard to recall what he might have done to make her unhappy. Surprisingly, an idea soon popped up in his mind.

He looked at Jenny and asked, "Jenny, are you angry because of Faye?"

Upon hearing her name, Jenny sneered at him. "So, you finally know the reason."

Alec was exasperated. "Jenny, it's not that I didn't know the reason. She just never crossed my mind, so I didn't bring it up."

Jenny threw her phone at Alec. "She never crossed your mind? Well, you've crossed her mind."

Alec looked at the contents on her phone, and his face fell. He hadn't seen the post, most likely because Faye had blocked him.

"I had arranged a meeting with the Wardleys today to discuss a deal, but I didn't expect her to show up. Now she and her brother are part of the Wardley family," Alec explained.

Jenny quickly recalled that there was a Wardley family among the Ten Elites of Bardoff City. That sparked her interest.

"Did Faye suddenly become a member of the Wardley family? Is she the lost daughter of the Wardley family?" Jenny asked.

Alec nodded. "That seems to be the case for now. The Wardley family is currently under the control of her brother, Anthony."

Jenny found it quite interesting. Faye had disappeared for so long that Jenny thought she would never appear again. But now, not only did she reappear, she did so as the heiress of the Wardley family. The twists and turns of life left Jenny feeling rather stumped.

"You said her brother died while saving you? How can he suddenly reappear?"

Jenny looked at Alec suspiciously, clearly doubting whether he had lied to her about those things in the past.

Alec hurriedly explained, "I'm not sure about the details. I find it strange too. I've asked Vincent to investigate, so we should have some information soon."

"Is that so? Haven't you considered Faye, who is now a member of the Wardley family? Now that you and she are considered a suitable match, don't you have any other thoughts?" Jenny expressed her doubts, considering that Alec had initially met her while trying to save Faye.

Alec was exasperated. "Jenny, what are you thinking? What does her new identity have to do with me? And regarding her brother, even if Anthony did die, I've long since repaid my debt to him."

From the moment Faye laid hands on Jenny in the past, Alec stopped looking after her and sent her abroad. He had been telling himself that he no longer owed Anthony anything.

Due to recent events, it seemed that not only did he not owe Anthony anything, but Anthony also owed him some answers.

To Be Yours Again By Taylor Chapter 1210-Long Time No See Jenny was pondering the authenticity of Alec's words. Did he truly have no other thoughts now that Faye was back in the picture?

"Jenny, why do you still doubt my feelings for you?" Was there something he needed to do better?

Hearing that, Jenny felt a bit embarrassed. She cleared her throat before saying, ’I'm just annoyed. I thought after dealing with Eric, we could finally have a peaceful life. Who would have expected Faye to appear at this moment?"

She didn’t deny that she didn't want other women, especially those who could affect their relationship, to appear by Alec’s side because she liked Alec.

"Don't worry, Faye's appearance means nothing. We don't need to attach any importance to her." In Alec's eyes, Faye meant nothing.

Jenny took a deep breath and realized that she had been overthinking.

Alec pulled her into his embrace and whispered in her ear, "Don't worry. No one will separate us again."

"I just wanted a few peaceful days," Jenny murmured.

"I understand, so don't worry. The things you're concerned about won't happen.’ Faye didn't affect their relationship in the past, and she wouldn't do so in the future.

Jenny didn't say anything more. She hoped that the reality would be as Alec had said.

In a villa on the western outskirts of Bardoff City, Eric's face turned pale.

He had just regained consciousness after undergoing surgery.

"What's the situation?" Eric asked.

"The situation is not favorable for us, sir. The police are searching for us,’ his subordinate answered.

Eric's face darkened, and he remained silent.

"Should we return to Bayside City first, sir?" Bayside City was their territory.

Even if the police were involved, they wouldn't dare to do anything to them.

However, in Bardoff City, they had little say.

Eric frowned. After a moment, he asked, ’Am I supposed to be afraid of them?"

"Sir…’ "Bring Pete to Bardoff City,’ Eric said, interrupting his subordinate.

This time, he failed to snatch Lynette back, but he didn't plan to give up like this.

She was his woman; even if she died, she would die at his hands.

Although his subordinate was worried, he didn't say anything more. He had a feeling that if they continued like this, something unexpected would occur.

At the hospital, Jenny continued her work as usual. Alec had already persuaded her not to pay attention to Faye's return, but unexpectedly, Faye came to her on her own accord.

"Dr. Walter, long time no see." In the consultation room, Jenny saw Faye.

Jenny examined her from head to toe. As Miss Wardley, there were significant changes in her appearance and how she carried herself.

Jenny smiled at her and asked, 'Miss Wardley, what seems to be the problem?"

"It seems that Dr. Walter has heard from Alec,’ Faye sighed. "Whether it's Faye Lawrence or Faye Wardley, I'm still the same person. The only difference is the name."

Jenny put down the pen in her hand. Seeing that there were no patients for the moment, she was happy to chat with Faye.

"There is a difference." Jenny grinned at her. ’If you were Faye Lawrence, you would always be Alec's savior's sister. But now, as Faye Wardley and given that your brother is still alive, what do you think you are to Alec? I think what Alec is struggling with right now is not who you are, but how your brother deceived him back then."

No one liked to be deceived, and Alec was no exception.
