Three days later, Jenny and Evan stood at the entrance of Bardoff Airport. After listening in to Evan's conversations with others for the past few days, Jenny had already learned everything about the situation, but even so, she didn't go back on her word and said she wouldn't go abroad. Instead, she pretended to know nothing and still came to the airport with Evan.

However, it didn’t mean that she would really board the plane.

In the waiting lounge, half an hour before boarding, Evan wished fervently for time to pass quickly. Jenny remained indifferent, and Evan couldn't tell any emotions from her face, making him uneasy.

Unfortunately, it meant nothing to Jenny. "Evan, please leave when I'm still willing to consider you my friend."

"Jenny-"

"We can board the plane now." Howard walked over quickly. He could tell that something was wrong between the two upon approaching.

Evan grabbed him and shook his head. "She won't come with us."

Gilbert and Zack, who were already quite dumbfounded, were speechless after hearing Alec's words. They were outraged that everything had been Evan's wicked plan to keep Jenny by his side for the rest of his life. He was way too despicable!

"This is outrageous! We have to save Jenny! We can't let Evan succeed!” Zack exclaimed angrily after regaining his composure. Thinking about Jenny being in Evan's hands, he couldn't wait to rush over and rescue her.

Gilbert nodded and had no objection. "Yes, I'll be going overseas now.” Seeing that he was about to leave, Alec spoke up, "Don't waste your time. Even if you find Jenny, with your current abilities, you can't rescue her."

Just then, the dungeon door was opened again, and Howard walked in. He immediately saw what the woman was about to do. Feeling alarmed, he quickly stepped forward to stop her. "What do you think you're doing, Olivia?!"

He arrived just in time-if he was any later, Jenny would have been disfigured.

"What do you think? I'm just giving her a little lesson.’ Olivia Myers stood up, looking at Jenny as if she was looking at something filthy. "Evan has suffered so much because of her. Are you still going to help her?" she asked.

Howard glared at her and warned impatiently, 'She's the person Boss wants. He won't let you off the hook if you dare to touch her."

Olivia was a little intimidated when she heard that, but she still countered boldly, "Evan was shot because of her. Does he still like her after what she'd made him go through?' Howard rolled his eyes and gave Olivia a dismissive wave. 'Do you think you really know Boss so well? Step aside. He wants to see her."

"Evan is awake?" Olivia was delighted, and without waiting for Howard to say anything else, she'd already left the dungeon to see Evan.

When she didn't move, Howard pushed her forward. "Boss, she's just too worried about you. She's still in shock upon seeing that you've woken up."

"Evan…" Olivia didn’t want to leave. She didn't want the two of them to be alone together.

Just as she was about to speak up again, Evan glared at her. His expression was indifferent as he ordered, "Get out!"

Olivia bit her lip, and Howard quickly stepped forward and urged her, ’Let's go.

Tell me all about the recent situation at home." Soon, Howard pulled Olivia away, and Jenny remained rooted in the same spot.

Evan beckoned at her once more. "Come and sit beside me, Jenny."
