Being quadriplegic was certainly traumatizing for an adult like Hornless Dragon. Not only would he have to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair, but he would also be left effectively between dead and alive without a source of income.
Unable to stop himself anymore, he shrieked at Frank, “Y-You’re crazy!”
Frank chuckled coolly. “I’m sure you’d think otherwise when you’re the bully. People like you should be ready to die, so don’t blame me!”
And with those words, he knocked out Hornless Dragon with a backhand slap.
Conan smiled in wry amusement at that. “They’ve really messed with the wrong people, getting into it with tough nuts like you two! Guess that also shows me that I must never abuse my authority, or I wouldn’t even know what killed me.”
Frank nodded. “Being the best version of yourself is better than anything else!”
The next morning, Toto visited Frank’s group just to thank them, bringing along two chickens and a large goose.
