Sadie ignored the rider and moved on to his partner. “Would you like what he’s having?”
The rider was terrified and quickly shook his head. “I-I’ll talk! It’s a man named Wilhelm Joens. He told us to do this!”
The other rider was incredulous. “Are you crazy?! How are we going to stay in business now?!”
“The business?! Is that all you understand?! I prefer not to be laughed at for just having one ear!”
The two riders clearly had different priorities between loyalty and survival.
Still, Sadie pressed, “Where is Wilhelm now?”
“Cranberry Apartments! Unit 302 on the fourth floor of Block C!”
