The only response they got was Meg’s snores, and Sadie sighed in exasperation. “I don’t think she’s actually drunk-she’s just offering you a chance! Don’t hold back now, as they say those who don’t seize their chances are the worst. “And it’s not like she’s demanding you marry her-we’re all out to have fun, so there’s no reason to be chaste.”
Frank snorted in annoyance. “The way you put it, I can do anything I like with Ida-or even you, if you get drunk?”
As Sadie flushed to her neck and turned away, Frank chuckled. “I’m no angel, but taking advantage of a drunk person is not good either. It’s just in terrible taste.”
Sadie nodded in understanding, surprised that Frank would think of it that way.
She had really found herself a good mentor!
