After taking so much flesh and blood, the coffin was already full of evil and no longer a pure existence. Philip knew that this thing had something to do with him.
“What’s inside? Why does it need so much flesh and blood, and what is it used for? Does the coffin use the same technique as me?”
Philip was tempted to pry open the coffin. He had no time to waste with the cow and simply killed it with one blow. The cow’s meat seemed pretty good, so he stuffed it into the space without wasting it.
He then took out a dart and threw it at the coffin. The dart hit the coffin, but it stood motionless and undamaged. Philip knew how much strength he used.
He then took out a whip and swung it at the coffin. He thought that maybe the dart was not strong enough to break the coffin. Hence, he decided to use a more forceful method to break open the coffin.
If that failed again, he had to use something like an ax.
“The giant salamanders were devoured of their flesh and blood upon contact with the coffin, but it’s not reacting to my provocation at all.”
