Bella remained unconscious. Though Wyatt was physically and emotionally exhausted, he stayed by her side, waiting for her to wake up.

However, his heart was in turmoil, aching with pain so sharp it threatened to overwhelm him. Afraid of losing composure in front of his family, Wyatt quietly slipped onto the balcony, where the biting cold wind greeted him. Alone, he wiped away his tears.
