Chapter 6313
Maria shared Charlie’s concerns. This ring possesses teleportation abilities, making it an ideal mode of transportation. Monks require fixed, large teleportation arrays to move from one point to another, yet with the ring, they seem capable of traversing anywhere. However, for reasons unknown, the teleportation function can only activate in life-or-death situations.
While Charlie pondered the solution, Maria’s thoughts crystallized into an idea “Young Master, could it be that the ring teleports you, but you haven’t yet learned how to utilize this ability?”
Charlie paused for three seconds, then felt a flush of embarrassment a moment later. He replied earnestly, “What you said makes perfect sense…”
After a moment of contemplation, he raised a new question “But if the ring truly enables teleportation, why go to the trouble of constructing nine teleportation arrays across each world?”
Maria responded, “Those nine arrays are too widely distributed, they merely serve as transportation hubs, super hubs at an intercontinental level. Yet, who’s responsible for the branch routes? Each time, hundreds of monks teleport to a specific continent and then they must use their skills to reach their individual destinations, right?”
Charlie was taken aback, asking, “So you’re suggesting that the ring may be used for branch line transportation?”
“Exactly.” Maria affirmed. “Considering the vast expanse of China and the nearby western countries, with only one teleportation point at Heming Mountain, it’s reasonable to think the ring facilitates short- to medium-distance teleportation. This would expedite their movements, making it easier to gather resources on this sphere.”
