Balin nodded in satisfaction. He then instructed Kikuchi Kohei, “Now, proceed with your plan to cover my retreat!”
“Understood, Master Glacial!”
Kohei Kikuchi wasted no time, immediately relaying through the internal intercom, “All vehicles, move to the rear to provide cover!”
After issuing the command, several more vehicles quickly positioned themselves behind theirs. Meanwhile, the U.S. military’s encircling assault was drawing nearer.
Kikuchi Kohei informed Balin, “Master, as they close in, our vehicles will create a larger radar blind spot. Wait until they’re more engaged before making your escape!”
Balin nodded slightly, letting out a soft sigh, “When greed takes hold, one’s ambitions can lead to one’s downfall. Not only will we lose the Frozen Mirren Palace, but our Antarctic exploration will be forced to cease as well.”
