Kit Fuller observed Mr. Mai and Mike in secret. However, as Charlie speculated, he didn’t enter the Shangri-La, but instead chose to stalk in the dark and wait outside of the hotel.
Mainly because the Shangri-La was busy, heavily occupied, and had a very complete and hightech monitoring system. Without outside help, he’d be unable to avoid the monitoring system. Kit Fuller felt that his skill allowed him to closely watch and follow anyone who entered or exited the hotel, so as long as Mr. Mai and his grandson left, he could easily follow them undetected.
Kit Fuller didn’t trust Mr. Mai. On the one hand, he was worried that Mr. Mai would be passive and not help him find the mysterious person. On the other hand, he was also worried that Mr. Mai would take all the credit for himself.
