Charlie’s unquestionable tone, and his threat of no backing down, made Master Mai very nervous. His greatest fear in life was to run into trouble, something he had avoided for the 70 or 80 years of his adult life. This time, if not for his wish to get the same chance as Orion Exeor to live longer, he would never have come to China to take risks at a hundred years of age.
But now, he had attracted the attention of Charlie Wade, and the only thing on his mind was to quickly withdraw. So, his tone softened, he looked at Charlie and begged, “Master Wade, Kit Fuller and I really do not know each other, and I am old and suffer a variety of physical ailments. Please do not make me suffer.”
Charlie did not even look at him, but called loudly through the door, “Mr. Cameron, ready the car and send Mr. Mai to Don Albert’s dog farm to visit!”
“Of course Master!” Isaac Cameron, who had been standing outside the door, did not hesitate to say yes when he heard this.
Master Mai’s face turned white with fear, and as he was about to continue pleading for mercy, Charlie’s mobile phone suddenly rang. Charlie saw that the call was from the United States, he knew that it must be Orion Exeor, so he pressed the answer button directly. On the other end of the phone, Orion Exeor’s voice came and asked, “Master Wade, I don’t know what’s going on over there? Did you catch that Kit Fuller?”
Charlie smiled and said, ” I have not yet found Kit Fuller but I am expecting a breakthrough from your old friend.”
When Orion Exeor heard this, he could not help but ask, “Master Wade said other people, could this be Master Mai?”
