On the way to Shangri-La he called Isaac Cameron and asked him, “Isaac Cameron, have Mr. Mai and his grandson left the hotel yet?”

Isaac Cameron hurriedly said, “Master, they are currently having breakfast in the dining room. I think they’ve already washed and dressed. I’m guessing they will head out after they finish eating.”

Charlie said, “I’ll be there in about ten minutes. Help me keep them confined to the hotel until then.”

Isaac Cameron asked, “Master, where do you want to meet them? Would you like me to arrange security to take them to my office?”

Charlie exhorted, “No, it would frighten them into action. Arrange a waiter to enter their room with one of the universal room cards, toss the room and take something, and then leave the room door slightly ajar. If they try to leave, have a staff member approach them and inform them that their room looks to have been ransacked and they need to go back to verify if anything is missing.”

Isaac Cameron smiled and said, “Master, that’s a great idea!… Okay, I’ll make the arrangements! It should take about ten minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time while I keep them distracted!”
