After getting the information he wanted, Fitz said to Zara, “Zara, you must be tired, just take an early rest. Let’s discuss anything tomorrow!”
Zara nodded: “I will, brother.”
Fitz stood up and said, “Ok, I’ll go back to my room first to rest.”
Zara walked Fitz to the door and returned to bed. Her mind was still filled with thoughts of Charlie.
At the same moment, Fitz returned to his room nervously. The first thing he did was to quickly send a voice message to Grandpa Banks, “Grandpa, I asked Zara. She confirms that she and my mother were in fact saved by the same Chinese man who saved us in Japan.”
Lord Banks, who couldn’t sleep and was sitting alone in his study drinking tea, listened to the voice message and immediately collapsed in his chair, unable to move for a long time.
He muttered: “How can such a powerful man be hostile to the Banks family?” Did my actions regarding Deana anger him? But what does this have to do with morality or moral integrity? Why would he save them and hide them?”
