“Mobilize the army,” Yaretzi said solemnly. “First, we must hold back the pagan army’s assault. After that, we’ll deal with Lord Goyo and Governor Yang’s forces.”
Xezal shook her head. “The Great Migration of the Great Historial Land is already complete. We have no troops left to mobilize.”
“Then what do we do?” Yaretzi’s voice grew anxious. “We can’t just sit here and watch the remaining thirty percent of the myriad realm’s creatures die!”
Xezal glanced at her, then turned her gaze toward James. “So, we’ve decided to abandon the myriad realms entirely?”
“Yes,” James said with a firm nod.
“Then why should we care?” Xezal’s tone turned cold. “What the pagans want is the myriad realms. They’re fighting for territory against the old Waitara Path. It has nothing to do with us.”
“But there are still thirty percent of the living beings left—” Yaretzi started, only to be cut off.
