Ch. 881..885: Powerful Papa with Triplet Babies Chapter 881-885

Chapter 881

“We will know once we go to the hospital.” Anthony rubbed her cheek with the back of his hand. “If you are indeed pregnant, we will keep it.”

They arrived at the hospital and Kathryn took Anne’s blood sample, before proceeding with the ultrasound.

A developing embryo appeared on the screen and Kathryn concluded, “She’s been pregnant for about thirty days.”

Anne panicked at her words. She had no idea and did not feel any difference. She had forgotten to track her menstrual cycles after what happened to her parents.

‘How can I be pregnant?‘ She thought with disbelief, feeling as though she had been struck by lightning.

“Ms. Vallois is weak now, so she needs rest,” Kathryn reminded.

“I know.” Anthony had not expected another child, but was extremely excited. He had not been there when Anne was pregnant with the triplets, and he finally had the chance to watch his child grow from an embryo. Suddenly, he was reminded of something and asked, ” How many babies are there?”

For a moment, Kathryn felt that the question was completely out of Anthony’s character, as she would have mentioned it if there was more than one embryo. There’s just one,” she answered.

Anthony bent down to grab Anne’s hands, which were freed of the handcuffs when they headed out of the house. “I am keeping this child.”

Terrified, she sat up and got out of the bed, before grabbing Kathryn’s hands. “Get rid of it. I don’t want it. I’m not giving birth to his child!”

Kathryn turned to study the dark expression on

Anthony’s face, not knowing what to say.

“Please. Get rid of it. Can you do it now? I don’t want to give birth to his child…” Anne pleaded in tears.

Anthony walked up to hold her back. “You’ve already given birth to three. One more isn’t that big an issue. Be a good girl.”

“No…Anthony, don’t make me…” She begged and held onto his clothes pathetically.

“Why not?”

Too hysterical to lie, Anne told the truth, “You are a demon. You are terrifying and one mistake is enough…

Anthony dragged Anne out of the hospital with a dark expression.

“I don’t want to…I don’t want to give birth. Why are you making me…” Anne struggled frantically:

“I

Unable to battle out of Anthony’s hold, he forced her into the car with ease.

Instead of returning to the Royal Mansion, they headed toward Sarah’s mansion instead as Anthony did not want to alarm the triplets.

Once they were inside the living room, Anthony sat Anne down on the couch and crouched before her with both his arms surrounding her. “Listen to me. Give birth to the child and I can satisfy your every

need. Anything but letting you go. Okay?”

She looked into his eyes in tears, devastated as she pleaded, “Master, please don’t make me give birth. I don’t want to…I’m begging you. Don’t do this to me…”

He sat beside her and held her closer. “I will take care of you and protect you from harm. You will live here from now on and I’ll bring the kids here whenever you miss them.”

Losing control of her emotions, Anne stood up. “I said I don’t want to give birth! Do you understand?! I am not giving birth even if it means death for me!”

Tears streamed down her face. She had no choice when she gave birth to the triplets, and she could not understand why Anthony had to make her give birth once again.

Anthony suppressed his anger and stood up as well. “I’m keeping this child. This is not up for negotiation.‘

Anne was in despair.

To take better care of Anne, Anthony had arranged for two of the maids working in the Royal Mansion to work in Sarah’s mansion instead. He did not place too many people there because he did not want Anne to be overwhelmed.

Anthony himself had moved into the mansion and spent most of the time with her.

Dorothy eventually caught words about the latest development and barged into Bianca’s room without knocking.

“What’s going on? You startled me. Can’t you knock?” Bianca’s surgery was a success and the scar was barely visible, so she intended to go to the Archduke Group to look for Anthony the next day.

The medicine Lilian gave her had been passed on to a certain maid, so she was simply waiting for the news of Anne going insane.

Chapter 882

“Something big has happened!” Dorothy struggled to catch her breath.

“Did something happen to Anne?”

“Yes!”

“Did she go insane or die?” Bianca asked excitedly.

“Die? She’s pregnant!” Dorothy could not understand how Bianca would be in the mood to make such a joke.

“What?!” Bianca stood abruptly. “Who is? Anne Vallois? How is that possible? You must be mistaken. The doctors said that she can’t get pregnant again!”

“I told you that you can’t know for sure! Just look at what happens! She’s pregnant again!” Dorothy said anxiously, “What should we do now? She is pregnant, and things are

going sour between you and Anthony. I’m going to get a heart attack!”

“Anthony won’t let her give birth to it. There’s no point to it even if she’s pregnant!” Bianca felt like the earth was spinning before her and fell on the chair. “No way… are you absolutely sure? Can there be any misunderstanding?”

“The maid called and told me that Anthony had moved

Anne to Sarah’s mansion and arranged for two of his most capable maids to work there. Why would he take such good care of Anne if he doesn’t want the child? If he cares so much about this baby, is he going to marry Anne? “Dorothy said frantically.

“No! I won’t let them!” Bianca was reminded of something and asked, “Has our maid gone to Sarah’s mansion?”

“No. I don’t know what Anthony was thinking, but he only arranged for two maids to work there.”

“It doesn’t look like he cares that much, then, does it?” Bianca drew the conclusion blindly, wanting to believe that Anthony did not care about Anne.

“No matter what, Anne is pregnant,” Dorothy said, “this. isn’t like the triplets. She got pregnant with Anthony by her side this time, so there’s no telling how much

Anthony is going to care for this child! You will have no place in this family from now on! Anne is going to get what she wants through this child!”

Bianca narrowed her eyes viciously. “Don’t panic. I won’t let her give birth! If our maid isn’t working in Sarah’s

mansion, we will find a way to send her in. Once she puts the medicine in Anne’s food, forget about giving birth, Anne won’t even be able to protect herself! She will never be able to take anything away from me!”

“I guess that’s the only way. Anything to prevent her from giving birth.” Dorothy sighed, “You have to give it to her. Even the doctors said that she can’t get pregnant and here she is, pregnant again in such a short period of time!”

“This just shows how incompetent Kathryn is!” Bianca said angrily.

It was humiliating enough that Anthony refused to touch her, but for Anne to give birth to his children over and over again was a direct insult toward her.

‘It’s fine,‘ she told herself, ‘once Anne is drugged, she will go insane and it’s even funnier if she dies with that baby inside of her! She can be smug all she wants for now. Let’s wait and see who laughs until the end!‘

Anthony spent most of his time with Anne in Sarah’s mansion unless there was an important matter that he had to take care of in the Archduke Group.

Anne’s desperation had slowly transformed into numbness, because no matter how hard she begged

Anthony to get rid of the child, he was determined to keep it.

Anne had thought that things could not be worse, until she found out that she was pregnant, that was when she realized that there was no limit to the pain she felt as long as she was with Anthony.

She sat on a lounging chair in the balcony and lowered her head as she stroked her belly, struggling to accept the fact that there was a child growing within her.

She was helpless and confused, just like when she was pregnant with the triplets.

‘What should I do?‘ She thought. ‘I can’t give birth to another one of Anthony’s children. I can’t…‘

She sensed the presence of another person invading her space and soon saw Anthony’s extremely long legs before. her eyes.

He sat down next to her and placed his hand on her stomach gently. “This is our baby. You want to give birth to it, too, don’t you?”

She shook her head and looked at him in tears. “Anthony, I don’t want to…I don’t want to…you already have three children, why do you have to make me do this? There are plenty of women out there who want to give birth to your children…”

“No. All my children will only have one mother.”

Rendered speechless, she sobbed in silence.

He wiped her tears away gently and said, “Don’t cry. The triplets miss you and keep asking if you are busy. I told them that you are resting because you are pregnant with their sibling. They are over the moon.”

“You…you told them?!” She questioned in disbelief. “Why would you do that? Anthony Marwood, you bast*rd! You are a monster…”

“They will have to know sooner or later.” He held her hands. “I will love this child, whether it’s a boy or a girl.”

“I don’t want it! I don’t want it!” She broke down in tears. “I’m begging you. Have mercy. I can do anything, but don’t make me give birth to this child…”

Anthony lifted her chin, his voice gentle but his words remained dominating, “You will give birth to it. Understood?”

“No!” She shoved his hand away and got up to head into the bedroom. “I’m leaving. I am staying away from you. I don’t want to bear your child…”

“Where are you going?” He grabbed her by the wrist and shoved her onto the bed, before pinning her down with his body. “Be good, or I’m going to get angry.”

Tears continued to trail down her cheeks.

“Everything will get better once you give birth. Trust me… ” He planted a kiss on her lips.

Chapter 883

As soon as Bianca’s face recovered, she could not wait to head toward the Archduke Group. However, she could not find Anthony in his office and went to ask Oliver about him. “Where’s Anthony?”

“Mr. Marwood is not working today.”

“You said the same thing yesterday. Are you trying to trick me, Oliver?” Bianca questioned sharply.

“I wouldn’t dare to.” Oliver bowed his head. “Mr.Marwood has some important business to take care of.”

“And what is that?”

“He did not say.”

Bianca sneered, knowing that Anthony was occupied because he needed to stay with Anne, who was pregnant with his child.

Her heart twisted in jealousy. Every second she waited for Anne to die seemed like an eternity.

The elevator door opened and Anthony walked out.

Bianca hurried over elegantly. “Here you are, Anthony.

What a coincidence. I’ve just arrived.”

She knew that they were meant for one another and Anne could only hope for such a fateful match.

Anthony’s expression darkened. “Yeah.”

Bianca followed him into the office and though Oliver needed to report to Anthony, he realized that he would have to wait.

As soon as they were inside, Bianca said, “Anthony, look at my face. Not even a trace of the scar. The Authentic Clinic really is superior compared to other clinics.”

Anthony did not pay attention to her face, but simply glanced at his watch. “I’m busy with work. I don’t have time for you.

||

‘But you have time for Anne?‘ Bianca thought. However, she knew better than to speak her mind and kept those words in her heart as though she did not know about Anne’s pregnancy. She did not mention a word about being stopped from entering the Royal Mansion and asked gently, “Can we go for lunch together? It’s been so long.”

Anthony leaned back on his seat thoughtfully and tapped his finger against the edge of the table.

The silence had Bianca’s heart racing as she wondered if he was going to reject her.

“Sure,” Anthony said.

All tension faded and she beamed at him. “I’ll make the appointment and we can head over there at half past eleven. I should let you get back to work. I’ll go back to my studio.” After that, she left cheerfully, knowing that Anthony would not disappoint her.

‘Anne just got pregnant at the wrong time,‘ she thought. It’s fine, though. All is fine as long as Anthony still cares about me. Once Anne loses her child and goes insane, she will be cast aside. After all, what kind of man would like a crazy woman?‘

She returned to her studio happily and started planning her way to use the medication Lilian gave her on Anne.

Time flew and soon, it was half past ten.

Bianca ordered her assistant to bring her the new dress she had purchased recently. She knew that she had to make sure that she looked different every time she met Anthony. Since she had worn something casual in the morning, she planned on wearing a deep–V, fashionable dress that flattered her chest to their date at noon.

Chapter 884

Satisfied with herself, she left her studio in her assistant’s car.

She arrived at the restaurant early and since Anthony was not there yet, she sat and waited anxiously wondering if Anthony would decide not to come after all.

She was about to reach for her phone to call him when she saw Anthony getting out of the car through the glass window and smiled.

Once Anthony took his seat, Bianca said, “You are great with time management. You arrived at precisely half past eleven.”

After the dishes were served, they began eating and Bianca took every chance to observe Anthony’s expression.

He did not seem to have noticed her dress and she suddenly came to a realization that men might not like the idea that their women were dressed in revealing outfits.

‘I should have worn something less revealing,‘ she thought to herself.

“Anthony, I heard that Anne isn’t feeling well lately. Is that right?” Bianca asked, “I heard from the people at the office saying that it has been days since she last showed up at work. Is she still staying at her mom’s mansion? If she’s not feeling well, she should rest. I seem to recall that there’s only one maid working there. We should send over a few more.”

“I’ve already sent two over.”

“Two can’t possibly be enough. There are plenty of maids in the Royal Manson, so just send two more over so that Anne knows you care about her,” she said, “I am just worried that Anne would blame you

for Sarah’s death…”

Anthony’s expression darkened, but she continued, “I know that you have nothing to do with it. I think someone else must be behind that.”

“And who do you think that is?” Anthony wiped his mouth clean and asked.

“Well…it’s probably someone who’s an expert in these sorts of things. Someone who has had their eyes on Sarah for a long time. Why else would they know when she was going to the graveyard? They killed her and abandoned her body in the mountains, so they probably hold a grudge against her. To be honest, Sarah is hardly a

virtuous person so it’s not odd at all that she would cross someone. Me and my mom wanted her gone as well, but now that she is, we don’t actually feel happy about it,” Bianca said sadly.

Anthony narrowed his eyes darkly in silence.

“Anne was dragged into all this mess because of her mom and it’s normal that she’s upset. That’s why we need to care for her. If there aren’t enough people in the Royal Mansion, my mom has a lot of maids and we can send two over to Anne,” she proposed.

“It’s fine,” he said.

“Why? Anne will be happy to know that you care about her.” Bianca was desperate to send someone over, or she would have no way to hurt Anne.

She could not understand why Anthony refused to do something that seemed to benefit Anne.

“She needs to be left alone,” he said, “end of discussion.”

His tone had stopped Bianca from saying anything further and her smile froze.

“I’ve agreed to come today because there’s something I need to talk to you about.” Anthony set his spoon down.

“What is it?” Bianca sensed that it was something important and straightened her back.

“I’m calling off our engagement.”

Bianca felt as though her head had exploded and though she managed to somehow calm herself, there was still a quiver in her voice, “W–what did you say? Why? What did I do wrong? I can fix it.”

“Do you really think that I don’t know about all the things that you did? I’ve been patient with you.”

“I’m sorry, but I only did those things because I was angry. Any woman would be like that if someone took their fiance from them. Anthony, you can’t blame me for that.”

“Indeed, I share blame for this as well, which is why I’ve made this decision.” Anthony wiped his mouth and said, I have something else to do, so I’m leaving now.”

Bianca panicked. “Anthony…” She hurried after him. ” Anthony, you can’t do this to me. I’m your fiance. I don’t want to call it off. Have you forgotten about all those sweet memories we shared? I love you so much. You can’t abandon me…”

“Bianca, I would have killed you if it wasn’t for the sake

IL

of our memories in the past,” he said coldly, before getting into the car.

Chapter 885

Bianca was stunned by his words. As the car drove off to the distance, her emotions finally spiraled out of control and tears scrolled down her cheeks.

“Hey, isn’t that a famous pianist? Why is she standing outside the door?”

“She looks so depressed…”

Sensing all the eyes on her and that someone was recording her with their phones, she frantically turned and went inside the restaurant, before returning to her seat.

The restaurant maintained a good level of privacy, so she knew no one would bother her.

Her body shook like a leaf as she struggled to control herself.

‘Why is Anthony calling off our engagement? Why?‘ She thought. ‘What I’ve been worrying about is finally happening. Why would he do that to me? I might have done something wrong, but Anthony has never thought about calling it off before. Why now…‘ Anne’s face appeared in her head. ‘That’s right. It’s definitely because

Anne is pregnant. It’s all her fault! It’s fine, though. She will be dead soon and with her and her unborn child out of the equation, Anthony won’t call our engagement off…‘

The maid who secretly worked for Bianca was called Mia.

Mia called one of the maids who worked in Sarah’s mansion, Fiona, to go shopping at night, and Fiona agreed.

Fiona went to Mia at night and the two took a stroll at a night market outside. As they walked past a store that sold perfume, Mia asked, “Is working in that mansion better than working in the Royal Mansion?”

“Duh! There are so many chores in the Royal Mansion. In this mansion, we don’t have to do much apart from keeping an eye on Ms. Vallois.”

“Is her belly showing yet?”

“No. She’s just a little over a month in! She looks really depressed, though. I just can’t wrap my head around it. It’s such a blessing for someone to be pregnant with Mr. Marwood’s baby,” Fiona said.

“She had triplets before, and now she’s pregnant again. She sure is lucky, unlike us who can only be servants to them,” Mia complained.

“Oh, well. What else can we do? Mr. Marwood is not someone we can dream of being with.”

Though Fiona did not dare to dream of altering her fate in her wildest dream, Mia was different.

“By the way, is she getting morning sickness?” Mia asked.

“You are right. We need to be really careful with the food we serve her. One thing goes wrong and she will vomit. It’s terrifying to watch. After that, Mr. Marwood would get so angry that we wouldn’t even dare to breathe,” Fiona said.

Mia took out a small flask from her purse and said, “Just add a little of this into her food and she will get better.”

Fiona accepted it with confusion. “What is this?”

“A formula passed down in my family. My mom took the same thing when she was pregnant so Ms. Vallois is definitely going to get better.”

“Is this that effective?”

“You look so troubled and I just wanted to help you!” Mia said. “Don’t tell anyone about this. Wait until it starts to work before claiming credits for yourself, or Mr. Marwood would never agree to use this.”

“I’m supposed to keep it a secret? But Mr. Marwood said that everything that goes into Ms. Vallois’s mouth needs to be documented.”

“Do you want a raise or not?”

“Of course, I do.”

“There you go, then. If Ms. Vallois gets better, Mr.Marwood might just reward you,” Mia said.

In the afternoon the next day, Anthony left to work and

Anne sat on the massage chair to rest.

A meter away stood a maid who followed Anne anywhere she went, even when she wanted to use the bathroom, the maid would stand outside the door and keep check of the time.

Anne felt like she was suffocating and was tortured by the urge to get rid of her child before the embryo was fully developed.

Fiona walked out of the kitchen with a plate in her hand and walked toward Anne. “Ms. Vallois, have some stew.”

“I don’t have any appetite.”

“Mr. Marwood said to watch you eat.”

Anne glanced at the maid and knew that if Anthony had ordered the maid to do so and the maid failed to accomplish her mission, she would be punished.
