Ch. 611..615: Powerful Papa with Triplet Babies Chapter 611-615
Chapter 611
Anthony appeared tense. Then, he removed the hands around his waist and turned to look at Anne.
Anne had tears in her eyes, looking so pitiful and a little nervous.
“Aren’t you afraid of me? But you also like me?”
“I like you more than I’m afraid of you, and I don’t feel that way about others at all…” Anne met those sharp obsidian eyes that were sharp enough to penetrate her soul. “Master, my love for you has always been hidden in my heart, so what you only see is my fear of you…”
After Anne finished speaking, she stepped forward, put both hands on Anthony’s broad shoulders, tip– toed, and lightly kissed Anthony’s thin lips.
Gentle yet moving, making Anthony’s heart tighten up.
Then, he grabbed Anne’s slender waist tightly and deepened the kiss.
Anthony was getting really excited.
He picked up Anne by the waist and threw her to the big bed in the room. The burly figure jumped directly at Anne, grabbing her chin and staring at her with black eyes.
“Liking me is more dangerous than not liking me.”
Anne bit her lip lightly. “This is out of my control, Master. Don’t let me leave you.”
Anthony took a deep breath and kissed her small mouth again as if to devour her whole body.
“Mmf…” Anne could not bear it anymore, and her hands climbed onto his broad shoulders, kissing his sexy Adam’s apple. “Master, I like you… but I haven’t showered yet…”
Anthony growled, “What a tease!”
It was destined to be a sleepless night.
Indulging in the act endlessly.
If the sound insulation was poor, the whole corridor could hear them.
Bianca got up in the morning and dressed up nicely.
She lived with her parents at night and rarely went to the Royal Mansion anymore as she
did not want to see the triplets for fear that she could not help beating them.
Before becoming the legitimate Mrs. Marwood, she would hold herself back.
Nigel and Dorothy knew that Bianca and Anthony would get their marriage certificate
today. Dorothy was thrilled, but Nigel did not share the same feeling.
At breakfast, Nigel asked, “Are you sure about this? After getting a marriage certificate, you’ll be his wife.”
Dorothy chimed in, “Isn’t that better? Our Bianca has grown up. She will be someone’s wife and have her own children in the future. Not only that, but her husband is also the most powerful man in Luton with a noble identity. She’ll be the envy of others! What a great blessing!” 1
“Dad, I know what you’re trying to say. I love Anthony, and I won’t marry anyone but him, and no one can stop me.” Bianca did not look so happy.
“I just don’t want you to regret it.”
“Why will she regret it?” Dorothy strongly disagreed with him. “Don’t you want Bianca to be happy?”
Bianca looked at Nigel unhappily.
Nigel said, “Of course I do. I hope you’ll be happy in the future.”
“Dad, just give us your blessing. You don’t need to worry about other things,” Bianca said.
“That’s right! What parents want to see most is that their children get to live happily!” Dorothy laughed. Afraid that the atmosphere would get more awkward, she changed the subject, “When will Anthony pick you up?”
“Eight o’clock. We agreed to get the certificate at nine, as we’ll be ‘on cloud nine‘ once we’re done with the process,” Bianca could not hide the happiness on her face.
“That’s good. You should eat more.” Dorothy poured her a glass of milk.
Seeing them so happy, Nigel could not show any disapproval.
Anthony and Anne were still entangled, and if they just got the certificate so hastily, would they have peace after marriage?
Nigel could only hope that things would get better after their marriage…
After breakfast, it was almost eight o’clock, and Anthony had yet to come over.
Chapter 612
Dorothy went outside to check, then walked into the living room and asked, “Bianca, why hasn’t Anthony come yet? He won’t forget about such an important thing, will he? Anthony is not the kind of person who does things erratically! Why don’t you call him?”
Bianca looked at the time and found that it was five minutes to eight, so she said, “Let’s just wait a little more. Anthony is really punctual, so he’ll be here on the dot.”
However, he still did not appear even though it was already a minute past eight.
Bianca glanced at her watch from time to time and waited until 8.10 a.m. If Anthony still did not come, they would miss their preferred time and the implied message of the chosen. time. Hence, she took out her phone and called Anthony, but it went unanswered.
Dorothy and Nigel were both staring at Bianca as she made the call. As Anthony could not be reached, she felt a little embarrassed.
Then, she called again, but no one answered.
“He’s probably busy,” Bianca said.
“You’re getting your marriage certificate today! What’s more important than this?” Dorothy was displeased.
Bianca thought about it and called the Royal Mansion, but Hayden said Anthony did not come back that night. Hearing that, Bianca’s face instantly changed.
“What’s wrong?” Dorothy asked anxiously.
Bianca did not answer Dorothy but called Oliver. “Has Anthony gone to the company?”
“Not yet.”
Bianca hung up the phone and sat there motionless, unusually calm.
Dorothy asked concernedly, “You can’t get in touch with him?”
“Anthony is probably delayed by something. It’s fine. I’ll wait for him at the Civil Affairs Bureau.” Bianca took her bag and left.
Dorothy and Nigel followed her.
“Bianca, are you going there alone?” Dorothy thought the matter was so embarrassing. How could you get a marriage certificate alone?
Bianca replied, “I believe Anthony. He’s surely busy with something, and he’ll be at the Civil Affairs Bureau before 9.”
After that, she got into the car and left.
Dorothy frowned. “Anthony is really something else. Doesn’t he know what day it is today?
Why do I have a bad premonition?”
“They’re too eager to get the marriage certificate,” Nigel commented.
Dorothy got angry when she heard that. “You still want them to take it slow? Who do you want to make room for? I know you’re partial to your youngest daughter, but it’s a pity that Anthony doesn’t like her and will never marry her! Think about it, Bianca is the children’s aunt after all! If she were another woman, the children might be mistreated after the marriage!”
“I’d prefer her to marry a husband who is devoted to her,” Nigel said.
“Is there a loyal man in this world?” Dorothy sneered, “Besides, Bianca likes Anthony. Do you want her to find a man she doesn’t like? She’s only going to be miserable! I know you don’t like me, but I hope you don’t implicate Bianca.”
Nigel thought she was unreasonable, so he did not say anything more and went back in.
Dorothy gritted her teeth. “Trying to make room for your youngest daughter? You’ll still have to go through me!”
Bianca called Anthony again on the way to the Civil Affairs Bureau, but the phone still could not get through. Thus, she sent a text message instead, [Anthony, I’ll be waiting for you at the Civil Affairs Bureau, just go there.]
After thinking about it, she added another sentence, [I’ll always be waiting for you.]
Bianca arrived at the Civil Affairs Bureau and waited in the waiting room. However, the more she waited, the more anxious she became.
It was past nine, and Anthony still did not show up.
Bianca stared blankly at the time, listening to the clock’s ticking as time passed.
The anxiousness at the beginning turned into a quiet wait.
Why did he not show up on time?
Bianca picked up her phone and called Anne.
Bianca did not want to admit what she thought was happening, but she could not control it from imagining the scene of Anthony and Anne together, provoking every nerve in her brain. She called Anne, but no one answered.
Chapter 613
Bianca felt that her dignity was being trampled on. It was the first time the proud Bianca felt so embarrassed, as if someone had thrown a bucket of sewage water at her face
She appeared perfect and was stared at by the passing men and women. However, only she knew how humiliated she was deep down.
Suddenly, Bianca’s phone rang. She anxiously checked the caller ID, only to find that it was not Anthony but Dorothy. Bianca instantly felt aggrieved and answered weakly, “Mom..
“You haven’t taken the marriage certificate yet?” Dorothy asked as she could hear something was off from Bianca’s tone.
“Anthony isn’t answering his phone, and he’s not here yet. I don’t know where he is,” Biancal said, “I called Anne, but it also went unanswered. Anne must’ve known that I was going to get a marriage certificate with Anthony today, so she came up with some plans to stop Anthony. Otherwise, he would never treat me like this!”
“It’s Anne again!” Dorothy was furious. Then, she comforted Bianca, “Don’t worry, I’ll find a way for you! Are you still in the Civil Affairs Bureau?”
“Yes.”
“Just wait there. I’ll go to Anne and rip her face off!” Dorothy hung up the phone angrily. She could not believe how Anne was bullying her daughter to this extent!
Sarah had just woken up and heard a loud noise when she went downstairs. Then, she went to look, only to find that it was Dorothy.
“Dorothy, what the hell is wrong with you? Why are you barking here at such an early hour?!”
When Dorothy saw Sarah, she stopped arguing with the housekeeper and rushed over. Where’s Anne? Where is she? Do you know where she is? Tell me!”
Sarah was baffled. “Why are you looking for her? You’re so ridiculous. Why should I tell you?
“Don’t think that I’m unaware of your vicious thoughts! You deliberately kept Anthony busy to prevent him and Bianca from getting the marriage certificate. Sarah, you’ll not succeed! If they can’t get it today, there’ll still be tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, so just try and let your daughter pester Anthony all the time!” Dorothy roared angrily.
Sarah quickly caught the message. “Anthony and Bianca are getting their marriage certificate today?”
“Are you seriously pretending to be innocent? Do you think I’m that gullible? Where the hell is Anne? Tell me!” Dorothy rushed to Sarah.
Sarah was not afraid of Dorothy at all, and she sneered, “Why? Are you going to hit me? You’re here alone today, but I have two people on my side. Are you sure you want to fight
me?”
Sarah had her housekeeper with her, so how could she not beat Dorothy?
“Sarah, don’t go too far!” Dorothy scowled.
“What a joke of the century! Who the hell is going too far now? I know–Anthony probably regretted the decision at the very last minute, and he didn’t want to marry Bianca, so he didn’t show up, right?” Sarah deliberately provoked her.
Sure enough, Dorothy lost control and grabbed Sarah’s hair. “I won’t forgive you! You old hag gave birth to a b*tch! Anthony will regret it. He only loves my Bianca…”
“Ah!” Sarah’s scalp was about to be torn off. “Let go!”
The housekeeper hurried over to help pull Dorothy’s hands away. Yet, the more she tried, the stronger the pull on her hair was.
“Hurry and tell me where’s that b*tch, Anne!” Dorothy just would not remove her hands.
Seeing that she could not break free, Sarah hit Dorothy with her head in the opposite direction-
“Ouch!” Dorothy slumped to the ground, losing her grip on Sarah’s hair.
Then, Sarah sat on top of Dorothy, slapping her face as she shouted, “How dare you pull my hair?! How dare you!”
“Ah! Ouch! I’ll kill you!” Dorothy flailed her arms.
Sarah grabbed Dorothy’s hair. “Did you think I can’t pull your hair? You came and bullied me! Have a taste of my revenge!”
“Ah! Let me go! Let me go! Sarah, I won’t forgive you!” Dorothy also went to pull Sarah’s hair, and the two cursed at each other while tugging back and forth.
The scene of them rolling and fighting on the ground was simply disgraceful. In the end, it was the housekeeper who separated the two.
Dorothy cussed and left the villa, and she even kicked the tall vase over on purpose at the door.
Chapter 614
Sarah was exhausted, so she did not chase after Dorothy to beat her up. Instead, she sat on the sofa, panting heavily as she tidied her messy hair.
“I’m sure I lost a lot of hair from that…I wonder if there’s any bald spot…” Sarah looked at the end of her hair pitifully and touched her scalp.
Then, she quickly remembered the reason Dorothy came to cause a scene.
Anthony must have stood Bianca up. Otherwise, Dorothy would not have had such a huge reaction and come to make a fuss.
So, this was Anne’s doing?
Did she really listen to her advice?
When Sarah thought of this, she became extremely proud. Later, she went to her room to look for her phone and called Anne, but it also went unanswered. Then, she immediately hung up the phone. If the two of them were really together, it would not be a good time to call Anne.
Sarah was secretly overjoyed, pleased that her precious daughter really had a trick up her sleeve, and even managed to ruin the day when Anthony and Bianca were supposed to get their marriage certificate.
In the apartment room, it was almost 3 p.m. when Anthony woke up. He looked at Anne lying in his arms, thinking he was really out of his mind.
How could he lose control to this extent? What exactly made him so obsessed?
However…Anthony did not push the sleeping Anne away, and his obsidian eyes stared at her peaceful little face.
Anne’s face was flushed, but no one knew whether it was from her sleep or she had yet to
recover.
She liked him? He actually accepted and even lost control of his emotions.
Anthony grabbed Anne’s chin and lifted it slightly, trying to take a closer look at her.
However, he found the temperature on his fingertips was not quite right. Then, he placed the back of his hand on her face again.
Sure enough, it was too much, and she had a fever.
“Anne?” Anthony called her.
Anne just frowned but did not respond.
Anthony turned her over so that she was lying on her back. Then, he got out of bed and looked for his phone.
His suit was outside, and the phone was inside the suit pocket.
However, Anthony called Kathryn on the landline instead of grabbing his phone. “She has a fever. Come here.”
Kathryn went over as ordered.
Anne was already lying unconscious from high fever on the huge bed in the room.
Kathryn knew what had happened with just a quick glance at Anne’s current condition, including the red marks on her slightly exposed neck. She could not help but secretly sigh, pitying the tiny–framed Anne for going through Anthony’s torment.
Kathryn measured Anne’s temperature and found that it was almost forty degrees. Then, she quickly gave Anne an antipyretic injection, or else she might have brain damage from the high fever.
“It’s that high?” Anthony asked, standing at the foot of the bed in his pajamas.
“Yes. It’s almost 40 degrees. An adult might suffer brain damage when the fever is this bad.
Kathryn said. Then, seeing Anthony frowning, she quickly added, “But I’ll make her temperature drop soon.”
After the injection, Kathryn put Anne on an IV drip, hanging it on the IV stand she brought over.
“Mr. Marwood, I’ll watch over her. I’ll leave when her temperature drops,” Kathryn said.
Chapter 615
Anthony did not say anything and left the room. Then, he took out a bottle of water from the refrigerator and drank it. After that, he sat on the sofa, taking out his phone from his suit pocket.
When Anthony saw Bianca’s calls and text messages, he remembered that he was
supposed to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau this morning. Yet, it was almost 4 p.m. now, long past the agreed time.
Anthony rubbed his temples, annoyed that he had forgotten such an important thing…
Bianca was still waiting inside the Civil Affairs Bureau, which would close in an hour.
“Bianca, let’s go back. Anthony hasn’t said anything yet until now. He won’t come, right?” Dorothy had been by Bianca’s side, feeling angry and vengeful. Moreover, her face still had Sarah’s fingerprints from their fight.
“He’ll come. He’s surely late because he has something urgent in hand to handle,” Bianca was kidding herself.
“No matter what, he should’ve said something, as this is such an important thing. What’s the point of making people wait like this?” Dorothy strongly disagreed with Anthony’s action, and she also could not mention Anne for fear of irritating Bianca. “Let’s go back…”
Before Dorothy could finish speaking, the phone that Bianca had been holding in her hand rang. Bianca immediately picked it up and looked at it excitedly. When she saw the call from Anthony, she answered, “Anthony, where are you? Didn’t we agree to get our marriage certificate this morning?”
“I’m sorry. Something urgent came up.” Anthony’s hoarse voice sounded.
“I–It’s okay. You didn’t answer your phone, and I was afraid something had happened to you. It’s good to know you’re fine.” Bianca turned her questioning and angry tone into
concern.
“I’m fine.” Anthony did not say much.
“That’s great.” Then, Bianca glanced at the time on the wall and added, “I’m still waiting for you at the Civil Affairs Bureau. Will you come over now? It doesn’t matter that it isn’t nine
o’clock.”
If she did not get the marriage certificate today, Bianca felt she would never have a chance again. Hence, no matter how late it was, she must calm herself down first.
Besides, Anthony could not say that he could not make it. With his power, it was easy for him to make the Civil Affairs Bureau wait for him until midnight.
The door opened, and Kathryn came out. She stood there waiting when she saw that Anthony was on the phone.
Anthony glanced at Kathryn, who nodded. Then, he said to Bianca, “I’ll head over later.”
“Okay, I’ll wait for you.” Bianca finally smiled.
After the call ended, Dorothy knew everything was alright when she saw Bianca’s expression.
“As I said, he’ll definitely come.” Bianca was confident. “Anthony has his own personal affairs, which is normal and unnecessarily related to Anne.”
What Dorothy wanted to say was stuck in her throat, and she did not want to say anything to trigger Bianca at this time.
Nothing else mattered as long as Anthony came.
Anne was still asleep on the bed, and her IV drip bag was half full. Although her fever had subsided, Anne’s little face was flushed, looking pitiful.
Kathryn left after Anne’s condition stabilized, leaving Anthony alone.
