Feeling very upset, Jared held Nicole in his arms as he looked toward Lawrence’s direction. “Stay away from that man.”

Nicole looked at him in response. “Can you stop being so jealous for no reason?”

‘This is our first meeting with him, and Jared is seeing green already?!’ she thought.

“I don’t like the way he looks at you.” Jared replied, knowing that gaze far too well.

Lawrence was concealing his desire to have Nicole to himself. Besides, to see through Lawrence’s intentions was no easy feat.
