Chapter 5555

Late at night, with little traffic on the road, they arrived back at the Francoeur family mansion about a dozen minutes later.

Sonny parked without honking the horn. It was late, and the neighbors were already asleep. Honking would only disturb them.

The courtyard was illuminated by streetlights, and the lights on the first floor of the main house were still on. Sonny guessed that Chairman Francoeur was still awake, waiting for his granddaughter to return.

He turned to Winnie and called out, “Miss Winnie, we’re home.”

Winnie quickly woke up and looked around. “Ring the doorbell. Someone will come out to open the door. We have live-in staff at home.”

The Francoeur family had only a few members, but the mansion was enormous. Without live-in staff, the house would feel empty and uncomfortable with only three people living there.

Winnie was about to get out of the car, but Sonny had already unbuckled his seat belt and stepped out.
