Romina glanced across the table at the man sitting opposite her. River blinked slowly, reading her expression. Was this about him?
She looked him straight in the eye. “Where’s the party?”
“To make it easier for you, everyone agreed on the Eaglioncile Hotel,” the monitor replied. “You go there all the time—convenient, right?”
“Perfect,” Romina said smoothly. “Tomorrow night it is. My treat. Since everyone’s so curious about President York, I’ll bring him along. He’s even more handsome in person than in photos—more refined, more masculine.”

When she hung up, River asked, “So your classmates want you to bring me?”
