Serenity bent over to pick up the two bags of fruits and a carton of milk he had bought. She said with a smile, “Why are you here? Didn’t you say you had a business engagement? I bought two bags of fruits for my sister, and now you too. We even bought the same types
of fruits.”
Zachary carried Sonny into the house. “That’s because our hearts are linked. Something came up, so my client can’t come over. Tonight’s schedule was canceled, so I rushed over to have a meal.”
He knew that his beloved wife was at his sister-in-law’s place.
That was one of the benefits of having bodyguards following Serenity. He could give Serenity freedom and not ask about her whereabouts during usual days, but he would also be able to find her with just a call if he wanted to know her location.
“Liberty,” Zachary greeted.
