Love At The Wrong Table Chapter 2034-Enemies Turned Allies “Let him go!” Blake shouted, seeing Otto’s hand wrapped around Magnus throat. Without a second thought, Blake launched his fists at Otto, finally having enough of their bullying. He couldn’t hold back any longer. If things had come to this, he was ready to fight these two to the death.
Otto immediately threw Magnus toward Blake, sending him flying. Blake caught Magnus, but before he could set him down, Otto landed two palm strikes against Blake’s chest. Blake staggered backward, struggling to keep his balance, but fortunately, he wasn’t seriously hurt. Grinning, he steadied himself and said, “We know each other so well, and all you can do is tickle me? You hit me so hard; I bet it hurt you more than it did me!” Otto smirked in return. “True enough! If you were in your prime, I’d have no way to handle you. But now, with your busted leg and lost eye, I know exactly Enemies Turned Allies how to get through your so–called indestructible defense!” Blake’s expression shifted. He realized the seriousness of the situation. If he ad been alone, he would’ve already bolted–he knew Otto’s strength well. In the past, they’d been evenly matched. But now, with his injuries, there was no way he could last long against Otto.
“Heh, what if I tie you up and blind that remaining eye of yours? How pitiful would you be then?” Otto hissed, extending two fingers in a sinister gesture.
His wiry frame and sharp features made him look especially menacing.
“Get out! Both of you, leave now!” Dominique yelled, seeing how dire the situation was becoming. She was desperate to drive them away.
But Maxwell hadn’t come here to leave empty–handed. He had two goals: the Enemies Tomay Allag first was to confirm Hattie’s death so that, by inheritance low, her assets could be absorbed back into the Zelinsky family. The second was to verify whether Magnus had truly died. He had long suspected Magnus had faked is death and knew that if his sister was close to dying, Magnus would likely return to Zovince in secret to see her one last time.
“Dominique, I am the heir apparent of the Zelinsky family. Do you really think it’s wise to be so disrespectful to me?” Maxwell said, adopting a haughty tone.
