Life After Prison Chapter 2011-When Selene held her head high and proud, Diane chuckled and said, “I’m glad to hear that.” Gilda, Sheila, and Sofia surrounded Selene too. When Gilda and the others came forward, Selene called out obediently to them, “Hello, Mommy Sheila! Hello, Mommy Sofia! Hello, Mommy Gilda!” The ladies smiled and lavished praise on Selene. “You’re the best, Selene! I didn’t think you were able to invoke something like that!” “You’ve inherited Severin’s talent. I never had to face something like this when I made a breakthrough to supreme saint.” They were all genuinely happy for Selene, having treated her as their daughter since their time at the Skyblue Sect. Selene was only eight years old, yet she had already made a breakthrough to supreme saint and had immense talent. Gilda and the girls were incredibly proud of that.

I’m very curious to know.” As soon as Severin finished speaking, his wives looked curiously at Selene as well. They were all equally as puzzled as he was.

Based on the breakthrough at the Sacred Lake, Severin did not invoke such tribulation even though he had awakened the Chaos Constitution and broke through to level three supreme saint. Therefore, there had to be a reason why Selene had invoked just that!

Selene grinned and said, “I don’t know, but I feel like there’s something in my body now.” Severin became curious when he heard that. He held his daughter’s hand, channeled some spiritual energy in, and manipulated his divine senses over the spiritual power so it could enter Selene’s body. As Severin’s spiritual power entered Selene’s energy core, he saw ten thousand golden lotuses blooming in the void on the surface of her spiritual power lake.

Furthermore, when he circulated his spiritual energy to all her limbs and bones, Severin noticed that every bone in Selene’s body was glowing with complex runes. It seemed to be similar to the scriptures of philosophy!

The special physique that Selene had awakened was termed ‘celestial bones‘, which one could describe as defying all existence and was much stronger than a Chaotic Consitution!

Anyone who had the Celestial bone had a surefire path to becoming an immortal. After all, the list of divine constitutions reached only the hundreds of thousands. However, the celestial bones was known to embody the true qualities of a celestial! Even Severin could not help himself from feeling a little surprised. His Chaos Constitution was already very strong, and achieving Great Success in it would allow him to be called a Semi–Celestial. That in itself would already put him in the perfect qualification to become a celestial!

Life After Prison Chapter 2012-To his marked surprise, he did not expect Selene to awaken a celestial’s qualities.

Achieving the stage of Great Success would allow him to become a true celestial! It was something to rejoice and be proud of! Then, he laughed heartily.

“Hahaha! I didn’t expect Selene to possess the quality of a true celestial! This is perfect!

Diane and the other girls rejoiced when they heard that and showed a doting expression toward Selene, “I didn’t expect Selene to awaken the qualities of a true celestial!” “Hehe, Selene is our husband’s daughter, after all. If he’s talented, then you’ll be just as talented too!” They all shared their happiness. Emery, who was not too far away from them, heard the conversation between Severin and Diane. Furthermore, Selene awakened such a heaven–defying constitution at only eight years old. With time, she could become a celestial being and at least become a powerful supreme paragon! With that thought in mind, Emery smiled bitterly and had some rather self–deprecating thoughts. I never would’ve thought that I’d be inferior to an eight–year–old child…‘ Emery was thinking to herself, a dozen streams of light appeared outside Pearl Light Isle, followed by a very familiar voice. “What incredible talent have you awakened today, Severin?” When those words were heard, the formation that shrouded Pearl Light Isle twisted and swayed, and a gray–haired, goateed, man in a blue robe appeared from the distorted space Emery was stunned to see who had arrived. She snapped out of her bewilderment and said, “Greetings, sir!

The person who walked past Pearl Light Isle’s defensive formation was none other than Oskar. He had arrived there at the speed of light following the occurrence.

When Severin saw that Oskar had stepped foot into the island, Severin led his wives over to greet him. They bowed and said, “Greetings, Sect Leader.” Oskar waved his hand gently, and an invisible force helped everyone up from their bows. Oskar then grinned and asked, “You’ve created quite the stir today.” Severin immediately realized that the visitors were all under the Impression that he was the cause of the Thunderbolt Tribulation.

Severin shook his head. “This time, It wasn’t me. It was my youngest daughter,” He turned to Selene. “Say hi to the sect leader, Selene.” Selene greeted Oskar obediently. Oskar finally realized that something was not quite right. Since Selene had just made a breakthrough to supreme saint and had yet to have the time to cover up her aura, Oskar’s keen eyes noticed that something about her body was rather strange.

A glow manifested in Oskar’s eyes, and it seemed as though his vision was capable of piercing through. the void. A single look at Selene and he was able to detect Selene’s bone age, attainment, and many other aspects.

After confirming that Selene was only eight years old, a look of surprise came over him as he exclaimed,” An eight–year–old supreme saint?!” No words could describe the sheer amount of shock that he felt!

Life After Prison Chapter 2013-Though Oskar had seen many things in life, that was his first time seeing an eight–year–old supreme saint. Supreme saints differed from royal saints in that they had already formed their souls into a primal spirit and activated their meridians.

To get that far, one had to comprehend the power of heaven and earth, which was why most practitioners in Southsky had to go to the sacred lake if they wished to make a breakthrough to supreme saint. Oskar, however, had never met an eight–year–old supreme saint, so the notion that Selene had achieved something like that left his head feeling a slight buzz!

When Emery saw how surprised Oskar was, the bitterness in her heart disappeared, and she was struggling to contain her laughter. Had Oskar not been there at the scene, she would have had no reservations about laughing out loud.

When Severin saw Oskar’s reaction, he shrugged helplessly. “Yes. She’s eight, and she was the cause of the Thunderbolt Tribulation,” As a core disciple of the Grandiuno Sect, he was considered to be tied to the Grandiuno Sect. Selene’s Celestial bone would not go unnoticed for long even if she deliberately concealed them. Furthermore, Oskar has already entered Pearl Light Isle as well. Having you both in our sect will us to prosper for thousands of years to come!” Oskar A Anyone would be shocked to know the existence of an eight–year–old supreme saint, but that was nothing compared to the ‘Celestial Bone Foundation‘ that Selene had awakened! “That sounds like an exaggeration.” Severin smiled. He deliberately told Oskar about Selene’s qualities in the hope of attracting his attention. Although Severin held a special status as the sixth core disciple and was not afraid of threats, there was every possibility that someone might learn of Selene’s astounding talent and take extreme risks to get what they wanted. Severin would ideally wish to avoid that.

As soon as Oskar found out that Selene had the legendary “Celestial Bone Foundation‘, he was filled with excitement and instantly felt like taking Selene in as his disciple. As the leader of the Grandiuno Sect, he knew the predilections of practitioners and understood just how significant Selene’s constitution was.

Many coveted the Celestial Bone Foundation, and that would put Selene in danger. Some people might wish to extract the bones of a person with the Celestial Bone Foundation and remove the marrow before transplanting the extracted part into their bones. Though the effect would be greatly reduced, there was still a scant possibility of becoming a celestial. That alone was tempting enough for many people to take such appalling risks.

Oskar could already foresee how much envy he would get even within the sect.

If he accepted Selene as his apprentice, and she became a celestial in the future, then he would be able to stand proud as her teacher. After pondering for a moment, Oskar raised his head and looked at Severin. “Your daughter has been bestowed with an amazing talent. I’m worried that she’ll attract the attention of too many people if news gets out.” Severin was elated to hear that because he already had a good guess as to what Oskar wanted to say. He gestured respectfully toward Oskar and asked, “What do you have in mind?” amy “I’d like to take your daughter as my apprentice and pass my mantle on to her. Is that agreeable to you?” Oskar asked thoughtfully. “Consider it a way of protecting Selene.” was Severin was overjoyed when he heard this because that was exactly what he wanted to achieve! With Oskar’s attention, even the sect’s members would think twice if Selene’s gift had been accidentally leaked. in the future. Severin pretended to think for a moment, but he raised his head and nodded to Oskar: “I accept that, but Selene is still young. I do hope she can stay in Pearl Light Isle.” Oskar’s expression soured when he heard that. He huffed angrily and glared at Severin in bewilderment. Are you insinuating that I’ll develop some uncouth Ideas toward my apprentice? That’s preposterous.” Severin let out a chuckle. He would only feel at ease if Selene was by his side.

Luckily, Oskar did not say anything about that and merely nodded in agreement.

Severin then took Selene’s hand and said, “Say hello to your master, Selene.” Selene was a well–behaved and sensible girl. She had honed the ability to discern a person’s emotions and intentions during her journey with her family to the Skyblue Sect, and later the Grandiuno Sect. She also knew that Oskar was the Grandiuno Sect’s leader and no doubt a very powerful man. A master like that would allow her some measure of influence in the sect.

When Severin told her, Selene immediately knelt in front of Oskar and kowtowed. After three kowtows, Severin brought another cup of hot tea to her. Selene took the teacup and said endearingly, “Please have some tea, master.” Oskar was pleased by her good etiquette and took the tea cup with a smile on her face. The apprenticeship ceremony was as good as complete with that gesture.

Oskar took two sips of tea and raised his hand to produce a small green sword.

The gleam shone brightly and exuded the aura of an ordinary spiritual treasure. “As you are now my disciple, I will give you the Skybright Sword.”

Life After Prison Chapter 2015-Oskar was in a particularly good mood after accepting Selene as his apprentice.

He even gave her the Skybright Sword that he had once wielded frequently in combat. A palm–sized green flag then appeared in his hand. It shone with scriptures of philosophy, and a large amount of power of heaven and earth flowed within the flag. Anyone who saw it could tell that it was an extraordinary item!

Oskar held the small flag up and said, gently stroked his gray beard. “This is the Hardwood Supreme Green Flag. It is a superior–quality spiritual treasure that can control hardwood essence to assist in one’s defenses. Those who wield this flag will be invulnerable. With the first wave of the flag, you’ll be able to gather hardwood energy within a hundred–mile radius. With the second wave, the plant life all around you could be commanded to kill your enemies. It is a very valuable spiritual treasure, more so with its defensive properties!” At that moment, Severin and his wives were all just as stunned. A superior– quality defensive treasure was something even several paragons would not be privileged enough to possess!

Although the elite disciples in the sect used spiritual treasures on the lower end of the quality spectrum, the elders who were paragons used mediocre–quality weapons. When Selene learned that there was only one flag, Oskar stood up and said, “Now that my apprentice has accepted the treasure, I will allow her to stay in Pearl Light Isle for the time being. I’m sure you’ll have no difficulties passing down the teachings in the Grandiuno Sacred Notes, and I’m confident you’re able to provide a steady supply of pills for her too.” According to the rules that dictated the procedure for how a sect leader should accept an apprentice, it would only be considered valid if the sect elders and peak masters were summoned to bear witness to the acceptance. However, Oskar chose to simplify the process to avoid revealing Selene’s Celestial Bone Foundation.

Since Emery had taken the initiative to assure them of that, Severin replied, “I trust in you. You may continue with your duties.” Emery breathed a sigh of relief after realizing that Severin had no intention of killing anyone or silencing her.

Life After Prison Chapter 2017-Outside Pearl Light Isle, the peak masters and sect elders who came from the other mountains were all standing suspended in mid–air. The Thunderbolt Tribulation during Selene’s breakthrough was so shocking that the entire Grandiuno Sect had been drawn to them. The peak masters and elders were not going to take any chances, so they decided to visit Pearl Light Isle in person and see what was going on there.

The Sixth Mountain’s Daniella, the Eighth Mountain’s Rowan, and the Seventh Mountain’s Myles had the same thought of sending a message to Pearl Light Isle. At that moment, Oskar sensed the scene from inside the island as he was about to leave and cursed under his breath, “These people are such sly foxes.

Every tiny little fluctuation on Pearl Light Isle will send them all flocking right here.” Oskar then stepped out into the void, but it gave the impression that he teleported right to the other end of the defensive formation covering Pearl Light Isle. He appeared right in front of the peak masters, startling them speechless. They immediately bowed in greeting upon seeing that it was Oskar. “Hello, Sect Leader.” Oskar nodded and raised his hand. An invisible force straightened everyone up, and he said slowly, “You may return.” Myles felt compelled to venture forward and ask Oskar, “If I may… can I ask what was with the Thunderbolt Tribulation?” “I cannot tell you,” Oskar answered curtly in a calm and composed tone. Seeing as Myles was unable to get any information out of them, the other peak masters understood that Oskar was not keen on disclosing anything.

Since they were essentially uninvited guests, they had to respect Oskar’s decision to send them on their way. Rowan snapped back to his senses at once and gestured respectfully to Oskar. “We shall excuse ourselves then.” Oskar nodded and said, “Good.” He glanced at all of them and said, “I’ve accepted Severin’s daughter, Selene, as my apprentice. The elder who is responsible for managing Pearl Light Isle’s resources must remember to send pills over to the Island every month, without fail.

Oskar then left without bothering to see their reaction. However, those words shocked them tremendously.

As far as they knew, Oskar had never accepted an apprentice ever since he became the head of the Grandiuno Sect. He did not even show an interest in any of the five core disciples despite them bearing elders and peak masters were shocked to hear that!

“Our sect leader accepted a disciple?!” “He’s never accepted a disciple in all these years. What is it about Selene that caught his attention?” “Could there be something extraordinary about Selene?” Many elders were shocked and envious. In their opinion, Selene’s apprenticeship with Oskar would give her much influence in the future. After all, it would be ludicrous for anyone to treat her disrespectfully when she was the sect leader’s apprentice.

Life After Prison Chapter 2018-fTo the southeast of the Grandiuno Sect was a mountain range known as the Artic Heights. Legend has it that a powerful supreme paragon named Artic engaged in a fierce battle there with a monster overlord ten thousand years ago. Southsky was born into a world of attainment precisely for those factors.

During that epic confrontation, countless spiritual bloodlines were obliterated, and the spiritual energy in the surrounding area had been drained thousands of miles away. Eventually, the monster met its demise.

Following the death of that monster overlord, its blood flowed onto the vast mountains and nurtured all living beings within the region. In recent years, that locality had yie ded the presence of numerous alchemical herbs and worldly treasures, turning it into a hotspot for unaffiliated practitioners searching for treasures near the Artic Heights.

The Artic Heights soon teemed with various monsters and ferocious creatures owing to the demise of the monster overlord. Many of those monsters were strong enough to rival paragons and even royal paragons. Consequently, the Artic Heights became a restricted area, especially within a radius of several thousand miles.

However, several vibrant rays of light erupted from the ground one fine day. A white beam soared into the sky from the heart of the Artic Heights, and an abode seemed to have materialized!

Upon witnessing that phenomenon, the practitioners hunting for valuable items around the Artic Heights exhibited a mix of astonishment and excitement.

“What’s happening?” “Has someone uncovered a ruin?” vin Before long, news of the abode’s discovery in the Artic Heights spread throughout Southsky’s practitioners! The newly–revealed abode harbored countless untapped treasures and might even hold the skills and legacy of its erstwhile occupant!

It did not take long for families that resided near the Artic Heights to react like piranhas picking up on the scent of blood in the water. The news reached the Grandiuno Sect swiftly, and many individuals were sent to investigate. Not long later, they were ascertained to be an abode containing relics left behind by a fallen royal paragon.

The next day, at Pearl Light Isle, Severin exhaled from his mouth and shot a white arrow–like bolt that streaked through the air and produced a whistling sound. The arrow then dissolved into the atmosphere several feet away.

His breaths were as solid as an arrow, yet the energy flowing with him with smoother than silk. Such was the norm for practitioners!

After informing Diane and the girls in the courtyard, he rose into the air and flew over Pearl Light Isle.

Before long, he had arrived at the First Mountain. As he landed in the plaza in front of the sect’s main hall, he observed numerous rainbows descending from the sky nearby. It seemed that he was not the only one who had received news of the meeting. The disciples all greeted him when he arrived.

“Hello, Mister Severin!” “It’s an honor to see you here!” Severin nodded at them with a smile and walked toward the sect’s main hall.

Upon entering, he found it filled with elders and peak masters who had arrived earlier. The peak masters of all the mountains.

As Severin recollected the life of Wildfire, Oskar entered the hall. He glanced at all the elders, core disciples, and the elite disciples that he had summoned over.

“I assume you’re all aware that the Wildfire’s relics have surfaced. The Purevoid Sect, Marvair Sect, and the Deifirm Sect are preparing to send their disciples in to hunt for treasure,” Oskar said in a grave tone from his seat. ‘After investigation by one of our elders, we discovered a formation in the abode that allows only supreme saints to enter and exit freely. I’ve gathered you here to discuss our next course of action. Does anyone want to volunteer?” There were several reasons why Oskar refrained from specifically naming any disciples. Such abodes, especially those that recently surfaced, contained numerous formations and lethal traps. In addition, three other sects would be sending their disciples into the fray, making confrontation Inevitable. Severin was a core disciple, and he anticipated making a breakthrough to paragon within a year or two if things continued at his current pace. Furthermore, he was–in a sense–self– sustaining because of his ability a sixth–grade high–rank alchemist. Thus, he did not need to take such risks at all. Many would view the stability he had in being able to raise his attainment and elevate his alchemy skills as a safe choice to proceed further.

After pondering for a moment, Severin reached a decision. “I’d be stupid to turn away opportunities that fall onto my lap. I might just be a level seven supreme saint, but at full strength, I might just be able to contend with a level nine supreme emperor.” Severin’s main worry was locating sky–soil energy, so the abode’s sudden appearance seemed as if his prayers had been answered. Wildfire’s weapon, a mountain condensed with sky–soil energy, would almost certainly have an abundance of that energy. That would make it the perfect complement for him to master the Sky–Soil Heptagold Sword Energy.
