Tan Rou returned to the princess’s palace and immediately took a bath, then applied some skincare lotion. The summer in country J was just too hot.
Noticing that a large portion of her homemade sunscreen was gone, Tan Rou felt it necessary to have Zhuang Liu bring her some more, so she called him. But Zhuang Liu didn’t pick up; his phone was turned off.
This confused Tan Rou. Logically, it should be around nine in the evening back home; Zhuang Liu shouldn’t be going to bed so early, right? And why would he turn his phone off to sleep?
So Tan Rou sent him a message, still no reply.
“President Zhuang really is busy,” Tan Rou sighed, “Well, I have to go to work as well. I’ll send him a message after I’m done with work.”
What she didn’t know was that as she was treating the King, a private jet landed at the royal city’s international airport. A group of people and a pile of things descended from the plane.
