The sea has changed.
In the distance, at the edge of the Void Sea, the once calm, mirror-like surface of the water suddenly began to surge.
The surge was different from ordinary tides; it was a deeper, more violent force, as if it were surging upwards from the deepest part of the seabed.
The seawater began to churn violently, as if stirred up from the bottom of an abyss by an invisible hand. Layer upon layer of giant waves converged from all directions, surging toward Bibo Island.
At first, the waves were only a few meters high, like the surface of a lake rippled by the wind.
In the blink of an eye, those waves converged into water walls tens of feet high, with fine ripples spreading across their surface, and faint blue light flowing within the ripples.
Then the water wall continued to rise, a hundred feet, two hundred feet, three hundred feet—finally transforming into a hundred-meter-high giant wave that stretched across the sky, like a blue crystal wall towering between heaven and earth, refracting a myriad of rays of light under the sun.
