On the fourth night, the change began.
At first, only a wisp of extremely thin and faint black yin energy seeped out from the edge of the crack, like a silent breath, almost imperceptible in the dark red light.
The wisp of yin energy slowly rose along the rock wall, like a tiny black snake swimming.
But soon, a second, a third, a tenth… more and more yin energy surged out from the crack, like a spring that had been suppressed for ten thousand years finally finding an outlet, rushing out in a rush.
The Yin energy there was different from that of the Netherworld Abyss itself—it was more concentrated, more violent, and carried a decaying and ancient devouring power.
That power was like a venomous snake that had been dormant for thousands of years finally awakening, spreading outwards with hunger and greed.
Wherever the yin energy passed, black frost flowers condensed on the rock walls. The frost flowers, like black moss, covered the rocks and made a faint hissing sound.
