After flying for about two hours, Chen Ping and his group of four saw a small town ahead.
Falling Star City. The city is not large, and its walls are made of bluish-gray boulders, about several meters high.
The rocks on the surface of the city wall are covered with fine cracks and weathering marks, clearly indicating that it has stood for countless years.
The city wall was engraved with simple defensive formations, the runes long since faded, only occasionally flashing a faint light at certain nodes, like the barely open eyelids of an old man.
Above the city gate hangs a mottled plaque with the three characters “Luoxing City” written on it. The characters are blurred and filled with dust and moss.
There were no guards at the city gate, nor any inspection formations.
People came and went in twos and threes, their steps leisurely, looking quite relaxed.
