After leaving the Shade Abyss, Jared and Gwendolyn didn’t return to the Moonshade Realm.

They headed straight for Thunderpeak.

Thunderpeak stood in the southeastern reaches of the Nether Mountain Range, about a day’s journey from the Shade Abyss.

Jared had already worked out the timing.

It was the thirteenth. Magnus Storme wouldn’t arrive until the fifteenth.

That gave them two full days to get there first—and prepare.
