Heat rushed over Jason’s cheeks, as though someone had pressed a branding iron against his skin.

“Accompany you to the bathroom?” he stammered. “H-How could I possibly do that?”

“Just stand outside the door-please,” Chelsea coaxed, her eyes huge and pleading.

The blush deepened, crimson crawling all the way to the tops of his ears.

“Jason, I’m begging you. I’m really terrified.”

“O-Okay… All right,” he relented at last, giving a timid nod.

Relief flooded Chelsea’s face. She seized his wrist and hurried the six or seven yards to the bathroom door.
