Nicholas’ face contorted slightly as he continued, “But who would’ve known that she wouldn’t even care about her own child. She’s truly terrifying.”

Hearing him say this, Cecilia felt that he was the terrifying one. “Nicholas, you are a monster,” she uttered.

She took several deep breaths and quickly walked past him, returning to the house.
