Chapter 1993 Just Quit “Do you still keep in touch with him now?” Magnus asked.

Denise shook her head. “We haven’t been in touch for a long time. I heard he’s already married and has a child.”

She appeared to be quite nonchalant.

Magnus, however, perceived a sense of loss deep within her eyes, which inexplicably stirred discomfort within him.

“So, he knew about your family situation and that was why he agreed to break up with you?” Magnus probed.

Magnus kept questioning her, which made her somewhat unhappy. “What’s the matter with you today? Are you investigating my past?”

“I was just asking.”
