Chapter 1990 Making It Up To Her Magnus was all curled up, hugging his knees. His head was hanging low. He had no idea how much time had passed when the sound of footsteps reached him.

He slowly lifted his head, only to see Denise approaching. She was bundled up in a down jacket, a hat, and a scarf, carrying groceries in her hands.

Magnus was somewhat taken aback.

He rubbed his eyes, somewhat incredulous at the sight of her.

“Denise! This isn’t a dream, is it?”

Upon hearing his question, Denise didn’t respond. She walked straight up to him, her eyes filled with indifference.

“What are you doing here? Haven’t you deceived me enough?”
