Chapter 1980 Nothing But A Stranger Hearing Cecilia’s blunt question, Heather looked a little embarrassed. “I was just hoping you’d take care of me in my old age.”

Charlotte was floored.

She has never even treated Cecilia like a real granddaughter. And now she has the nerve to ask Cecilia to look after her? She isn’t even Cecilia’s biological grandmother.

Cecilia, on the other hand, kept her expression calm. She wasn’t surprised at all by Heather’s absurd request.

“You want me to take care of you? Are you telling me all your children are dead?” Her tone was even, almost casual.

Heather’s face fell instantly. “Cecilia, what are you saying? How could you curse your uncle like that?”

“Uncle? What uncle?” Cecilia asked flatly. “My mother was an only child. She had no brothers.” She paused for a moment, then continued, “Since your son’s still alive, shouldn’t he be the one taking care of you, not me?”
