Working At The Club

Denise took him to the place where she worked.

When they arrived, Magnus stared in surprise at the lavish, brightly lit club. The corner of his mouth twitched slightly.

“You work here?” he asked, raising a brow.

No wonder she always left early and came back late.

Denise noticed the look of disdain on his face, but she didn’t react. “Yeah,” she said simply. “Working here is the fastest way to make money.”

“You really don’t respect yourself, do you?” Magnus said bluntly.
