“Did it happen?” Luca furrowed her brows as she was worried that Mrs. Jackman’s situation would affect their collaboration.

“No. The project manager didn’t think highly of that project. Besides, the company has been busy lately. We have no time to take on extra projects.” Luke let go of her as he heard footsteps coming from the stairs.
