Nina shook her head and muttered, “Translating is one of the most nerve-racking jobs. It’s a shame I don’t know how to speak Russian. Luca, you’re amazing.”

“When you live in an unfamiliar environment for a long time, you’ll naturally pick up the local language,” Luca said as she opened the document and laptop. Luca did not undergo any systematic training. She just learned the language herself during her three years on the Island of Despair.
