Did he tell you anything about my family?” After a moment of silence, Gilbert sighed. “I don’t know much. Grandpa only said that you were not his biological granddaughter and that your family would reveal themselves when the time was right. Until then, he asked me to protect you.” He was telling the truth. That was all Horace told him before he passed away.

However, Gilbert had discovered more over the years but didn’t intend to tell Jenny yet. He wanted to confirm it again before revealing anything.
