He sat in front of her. “Can you tell me what illness it is, Dr. Walter?” “I’m a doctor, not a prophet,” Jenny said. If she could tell from a glance, the hospital wouldn’t even need CT scanners. They’d just need her. What was more, this man didn’t even look sick.

“You’re underestimating yourself, Dr. Walker. Everyone in Parrington knows your skills are top- notch,” he said, smiling.

Jenny didn’t want to play along with him. “What are you here for? Haven’t you returned to Bardoff City?” Christopher wasn’t on close terms with her.
